I say: Just use a trusty ol' fifty cal. MG and shred those snakes up! Easier tactic at the cost of time in jail... and the waste of valuable resources for a future zombie apocalypse.

double barrelled, twin 3 shot rotating cylinder shotgun [total of 6 shots between reloads] with a chainsaw built into the grip, GoW style.

The animal talk.. they do that because people always take it to the next level all the time.. There was someone here (This is NYC, note) who raised an alligator. He kept it in his bathtub then raised it in his pool.

I saw photos online of a woman who kept wolves in her house, and I don't mean cross-breeds. It's always taken to the next level, so.. the more they allow the easier it is for people to do that probably. :\

@ PC: Well, if they take good care of them, then by all means let them keep'em. If they're not, well.....

@ KP: Alright, you win. :P

I'm completely against keeping anything exotic honestly. Keeping good care of a wolf or alligator or ocelot or not, let it go. Piranhas not so much, as well as ferrets, but anything exotic, large, or endangered should NOT be in a person's house. :P

But if they take good care of them, is it any different from locking them up in a zoo?

I'm against zoos too, hate to tell you. :P

And it can be, depending on the zoo. If you keep it locked in a living room as compared to a large exhibit in a zoo, it is different.

So you're against having something doomed to extinction live in the zoo? You'd rather see them all die than let them live in semi-luxury?

I'm against zoos which you described. There's a difference in a restoration program than a LOOK AT THE TIGER MOMMY. XD

Your description was pretty much a tiny little area they're crammed into. Restoration programs don't really do that and often times don't even expose the animals to tourists or guests. A LOT of restoration programs DON'T expose the animals to people.

IE, there's a Mexican Gray Wolf restoration program in Upstate NY. They don't expose the wolves to tourists or guests because they're later released to try to save the species.

I'm against zoos that treat their animals crappy and for entertainment purposes, not restoration programs. :P

A funny and ironic line from a movie I watched recently: "Whats the point of being free if you aren't alive" "And whats the point of being alive if you're not free" Both are very good points
"We all go about our daily lives, waiting for the next big thing, the next cool trend, even the smallest bits of info on anything happening, but what we're really waiting for... is for something interesting to happen to us, thats what draws us to the rich and famous... we want to be like them... I don't, I'm fine with who I am... and you should be too" - RT3

I'm against zoos that use them as entertainment for the public while treating them crappy, not restoration programs within a zoo that treats them fine. It depends on the zoo, for me. When I said I'm against zoos, I'm against cramming an animal into a small, unnatural area, like a cage or something. But generally, I don't jump up and down to go visit a zoo.

You'd be surprised how corrupt some things are, Humane Society of the US and PETA being two of the worst. Those are pets, but still good examples. :P
