It wasn't long before Andruil finished eating, having picked the bones clean, flicking them one at a time into the river as he finished them, to be taken downstream and away from the spot, to avoid attracting unwanted attention. Shiryaz had eaten what he was given, chirping in satisfaction as he finished, feathers fluffing as the griffin hawk tucked his head into his feathers, what little signs of a neck the bird had disappearing, giving him an almost owlish look as he rested. Septimus had finally fallen asleep, succumbing to rest after two days of activity...
Bairn had finally awoken to see the sky had darkened. he could smell wood smoke....but not that of a forest fire. this was the smoke of chimneys in a village. the homey scent of pine mixed in with the smell of cooking food. Somehow...he was back. He looked around, searching for the others. but he could see none. he didn't even remember being here before he blacked out. he recognised this spot. it wasn't far from the river. specifically...near the shack he had built to store fishing supplies. he was sure he would've noticed if he had walked here earlier. but perhaps the paranoia had finally got to him earlier. he hated to admit it, being the Village Leader and the man everyone looked up to. it wasn't pleasant to think his fear had got to him...but maybe...just this once, he had slipped over that line. Regardless, what was done was done. His priority now was to get back to the village and find out if the others had arrived. perhaps in the chaos they had split up before passing out. once he got his head around the fact that perhaps, he had been frightened into not being aware of his surroundings, it wasn't hard to think that he hadn't noticed the others splitting up before he was knocked out. sighing, the man began to make his way to the village...hopefully then he could find some answers...
There is a powerful entity nearby, Arashi. a dark entity warned Gilgamesh. The Dragon grunted to the demon within, acknowledging it's warning. "Do you not think I feel it, Gilgamesh? Have you really forgotten what I am capable of?" rumbled the Dragon irritably, his eyes having faded to black, blood red iris forming an eerie glow. No, Arashi. But even the greatest of beings has a moment of weakness. That is something I know of intimately responded the Demon in his mind. Arashi didn't respond, but banked away from the distant entity towards the Kirrahara mountain range. It was not his concern for now...If and when he had need of investigating, he would go there. For now however, he had more important things to do...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
