*A spartan turns around and pumps a load of pellets from a shotgun shell into an elite minor, killing it almost instantly. He is quickly mowed down by plasma fire from the others, as the elite soon respawns and joins his comrades. The spartan also respawns. Two others turn around, cloak, and flank the covenant soldiers, before assassinating those farthest behind the group, one tackling an ultra to the ground and driving a knife into his head, causing bits of brain and blood to splatter his armor. The other slashes a zealot's back before driving his combat knife into his eye, puncturing the skull and ending it's life in a split second...*

*A powerful shock is sent through Tina's body, throwing her backward violently*

Tina shakes her head, dazed from the shock.

"Damn.... whatever this corruption is, it is going to be difficult to purge.... any information on that creature TT became, Ina (god, our names sound eerily similar)?"

Ina: Well, other than the fact that he now possesses many, many tentacles which seem to have odd powers, which, in some cases, can destroy entire structures and kill any living being in or around it, I got nothing on what he has become yet. UR had tried many times to get him to show himself, but failed, and well, this happened as a result of his latest attempt.

*A portal begins to open up in the center of mine and G4E's forces along with ourselves and our NPCs, but is barely noticable. The two spartans who preformed the assassinations are soon killed by two zealots. The two elites respawn, along with the spartans as the red team rushes for a red-colored pelican. The blues attempt to intercept them from reaching it with their flag and base's core...*

Tina strokes her narrow chin.

"Hmm.... sounds like he went eldritch. Do you know of the creature named 'yogg'."

[TyrannoTitan]

*UR suddenly sits up, the poison taking effect, black-blue veins of energy running through his body*

*Speaks through UR*

*The abyss that was once G4E's fortress begins to stir*

The guys in the pit begin to scramble about blindly, trying to find a way up....

Tina jumps back in fear, seeing what's happening to UR.

"Jesus! What's happening?!"

I turn and see what is gonig on with UR.

"Looks like there is only one solution..."

I grip my sword tighter and slowly approach UR....

*Ina turns and notices what G4E is doing, before appearing to leap forward with a hand wide open*

Ina: No, don't! There has to be some other way... I just have to find it, give me some time.

*Soon, everybody stops doing anything, including the elites and spartans, who all begin to look at me...*

*Switch loses the last of the momentum in the blow and turns to face the Zealot, pausing momentarily before taking a half crouching step forward and swiftly arching her tail over her shoulder like a scorpion, aiming at the Elite’s chest…*

*Tobias, Amy and Derek place the last of the silver cylinders, the finished circle taking up most of the usable hangar floor space. They then start to walk back to the control room, Sy poking her head out to call to them.*

Sy: The computer reprogrammed itself and accepted the converter. I think it’s ready!

*Amy gives Sy the thumbs up and Hurricane gives the raptor and humans a blank look, walking idly over the circle’s threshold.*

Hurricane: For what though?

*Derek and Tobias make it across the hangar and join Sy in the smaller room while Amy stops near the sauro, but outside the circle.*

Amy: I wouldn’t stay in there too much longer if I were you. They’ll have to activate the force field once we get our subjects in here…

I loosen my grip on my sword again.

"A-any ideas, Ina?"

Blaze and Mortum soon reach the safehouse...

*The portal that was slowly forming suddenlt bursts open, seemingly swallowing everything in the general area, including the aircraft and the destroyer. We all suddenly appear in a strange-looking land that turns us into cube-like people, though it looks far to peaceful to be dangerous in any sort of way, and manages to remove the poison in my bloodstream in a way, the coding of it designating it as a computer virus. A piece of the shield opens to let Mortum and Blaze into the safe-house...*

I assume the cube world is but an illusion and give UR a slight cut on the arm. I collect the blood in a vial before Tina quickly stops the bleeding. I use a small device to run some tests on it.

I promptly crush the vial to prevent infection, my radioactive skin destroying the venom upon it maknig contact with my skin. I turn to mine and UR's NPCs.

"As you know, this is an admin-level poison runnnig through our friend's bloodstream. If we let him stay here, the venom has a high chance of afflicting us with whatever it is doing to him. Our only courses of action are to termiante him here and now, or hope that the Kingpin will cure him."

"But the knigpin hasn't been here in days!"

"My point exactly..."

Tina cannot bring herself to say any words, and I try to avoid looking at her or Ina.

"I am sorry, Ina, but you must make a decision now- do you want him to be put out of his misery now, or risk the possibility of him infecting the rest of us and guaranteeing the end of the light?"

Blaze and Mortum enter shortly....

*The Zealot attempts to block the blow, but the tail goes right between the two prongs of the blade, hitting the Elite in the chest. The plasma blade combined with the tail stab finally makes both combatants' shields drop, and the Elite staggers back, momentarily stunned*

*Ina looks around the world for a bit, before spotting a green, four-legged creature with a face like this :[ though more pixelated and cuboid in a way. The A.I. does the equivalent of a smile*

Ina: He'll come back after say, ten seconds, so you should just do it now...

*UR suddenly stands up, a spiked blade, made of the same material as the tentacles, rips out from his wrist, the possessed user hacking the AI console in two before leaping into the abyss*

*The possessed me doesn't go into any abyss due to a portal having taken us to a new world. A soldier dives in the way of the attack, saving the A.I. from destruction...*
