The Serag continued spreading the infestation through the city, not knowing of 'Hunter's' absence yet. The space dragon was near the mainland now, almost over China...

"And how can I be sure what you say is true?" questioned the Dragon, eyes narrowing; the first sign of emotion to be shown by the gargantuan Guardian. meanwhile, internal processing had pinpointed a primary threat that required rapid and brutally efficient interception; The creature codenamed S-157 by DHARMA. a Serpentine Dragon that had raided Japan, and now approached China. calculations were made as Horus conversed with the celestial Wasp, deciding how best to attack the threat to prevent it from reaching China...

The kryll had long returned to their hive, and had begun marking the entrance with Anguirus' scent, so others know to attack in the event it approaches the hive's entrance.....

"If I was to bring harm to you and your planet, we wouldnt be having this conversation" Was the cyborg's simple, yet ominous response.

After a few silent minutes, the path reopened once more, leading into a hallway that led to the staff center of the facility, where Talon returned to the couch, watching a movie boredly. The hallway had various windows along one side, showing the gargantuan, partially lit mech bay...

The man was already on the floor, his cloak laid out like a blanket. He looked back at the door, one eye wider than the other. "Son...of a *****" He muttered. Jackson grabbed his staff and got up, pulling the cloak with him and draping it over and arm, heading over to the door with quick steps. As he passed through the hallway, he glanced out into the spacious chamber. The dim lighting cast strange shadows...metallic figures lingered in the distance, the base of their mounts lit up, but the higher up regions shrouded in darkness. Just what in the world was this place?

"A predictable explanation....though adequate for now" responded Horus, vectored thrusters flaring slightly as he changed his angle slowly, taking aim towards the earth, eyes locked on the threat, ensuring that he would have %100 accuracy with his aim. charging his breath, the Dragon's thrusters blaring to life as he shot forward into the atmosphere, the lack of resistance allowing him to accelerate to speeds well beyond the speed of sound, hurtling through the atmosphere towards the Dragon like a meteorite, the white glare of heat on the Dragon's beak, head and chest shimmering like a star in the sky...

...that is, until the Solar Pillar was unleashed. the thick, pure white beam of solar energy slammed into Hunter's back, the intensity of the beam rivalling that of the core of the sun, the sheer kinetic force behind it blowing the serpentine Dragon out of the air and into the ocean below in a blaze of smoke and flames, a small tsunami forming as a result of the creature's impact with the water below, the attacker rapidly hurtling through the atmosphere, moving at over 7 times the speed of sound, already lining up another attack with the disorientated target...

With that, Spinnerax turned himself back to face the globe with a few bursts of golden light, resuming his silent vigil over the world as if the meeting with the dragon never happened. By now he was passing over the westernmost portion of the country, the dark green that was the forest of the eastern regions transitioning into the tan sands of the desert. A large mountain range ran along the width of the region, and the skies were as dark as they were over Japan...

'Hunter' screeched in pain in the water, before going under even more once he recovered from the blow. He'd have to try and hide in the sea and wait it out for a bit. The Serag continue to infect those in Tokyo...

Tokyo was, for the most part, abandoned. The human survivors had long since evacuated, leaving the Serag to deal with the JSDF's armor: tanks, masers, and helicopters were deployed, literally shelling the monsters from a distance. Raptoran watched the battle from far away, waiting to see what would happen...

The Serag scattered about, taking to the sewers and buildings or simply head out of the city, leaving the JSDF's forces to bombard, for the most part, nothing...

monitoring the silhouette of the serpentine Dragon against the ocean below, another, golden beam was fired, water in the vicinity of the impact zone vaporised as the beam punched through the waves, slamming into Hunter once more, Horus closing fast, intent on annihilating the creature before more harm was done to the planet as a result of it's invasion...

Blight continued to fly over the Pacific Ocean. By now, a few wounds were slowly regenerating, but he still hurt all over. Stupid drills.the dragon thought in his mind in a dialect only known to himself and his own kind. Yes, he did know many of the languages of this planet, but he felt more comftorable thinkingin his native tongue...

'Hunter' managed to avoid the beam, but just barely, and dove down into the depths of the ocean below, hiding himself from Horus...

The JSDF began to withdraw, backup units at Tokyo's borders already preparing to contain the city and prevent the creatures from spreading. Raptoran, however, continued to hunt. If the Serag came back, he wouldn't hesitate to devour them all...

a booming roar of anger tore out across the channel separating China from Japan, as Horus levelled out just over the surface of the water, waves seeming to rip out from the calm in the wake of the tsunami, the large waves already slamming against the shores of both Japan and China in the distance, washing against massive fortress-like walls on the boundries of coastal cities. Horus flew over the water's surface, raising his head upwards as he beat his wings powerfully, the blade-like edges slicing into the water's surface as he was powered upwards once more, rising up to several thousand feet, to give him a better view of what's below. he could still see his target. but at that depth, his weapons would lose too much of their effectiveness. still. the Dragon would have to come up eventually....and when it did..he would destroy it. beating his powerful wings once more, he soared off across the pacific, already scanning for other threats...

Infernus' anger began to well up as he rested, smoke coming out from his nostrils in a mighty plume. Soon, he bursts forth out of the lava flow he was resting in, his eyes opening wide, before he lets out a booming roar that was exemplified thanks to the volcano's shape and let out a beam of smoldering fire into the night sky, lighting it up for miles. Another plume of smoke rises from both the titan's mouth and nostrils, before he storms out of the volcano, seeking a location to vent his fury.....

As Blight flew slowly through the air, he began to loose elevation, the dragon falling lower and lower toward the water. Before long, he simply dropped into the sea, the dragon sinking beneath the waves. But before he could sink too far down, he began to swim off to the east. The pain that the saltiness of the water brought to his wounds stung, but yet... it also felt... strangely refeshing...

Off in space, around the planet Neptune, a large mechanical object, about 500 meters in diameter, flung out of what appeared to be a wormhole that had opened up in space mere moments before. The object at first drifted toward the planet, before abruptly changing directions and heading for the sun... or, rather, right for earth... It had been sent on a mission...

The sudden output of power was detected by the space wasp across the solar system. Spinnerax turned himself around to face the source of the disturbance, his reticle lingering to the side of the blue, ringed gas giant. The image was magnified, though even the powerful telescopic vision only made the entity looming millions of miles away look like a speck in the blackness of space. Spinnerax started to calculate the object's heading, alien numbers scrolling down in the cyborg's vision. In seconds, his suspicions were confirmed. It was heading towards Earth. It would meet Spinnerax before it got past Saturn's orbital path. The celestial wasp's drills shone bright as he prepared the vector beams, aiming them behind him before blasting off to intercept the target, his speed unrivalled in the weightless vacuum.

The mechanical object, spherical in nature, was moving incredibly fast, heading for the planet Saturn, toward Earth. On the front end of the sphere was what appeared to be a screen, and all over it were various runes and foreign letters. On the screen itself, which took up a good section of the front of the sphere, was an imprint, one that resembled the handprint of a dragon...
