"I find it amusing....that you consider yourself above the humans. Were it not for them, you would not EXIST.....nor would any of Earth's monsters. You stutter, weak, frustrated...unable to so much as finish a sentence. And yet you consider yourself above the very creatures who dominate this world with a fiery iron fist" rumbled the beast through narrowed eyes, massive wings beating powerfully, kicking up dust beneath him, streaks of gold and silver shimmering across his form as he gazed down at Infernus as if he were prey. "The humans are no different from any other creature on this planet. They mean as little to me as the rats that scurry beneath their feet. Once I have destroyed all the larger threats to this planet, they too shall feel my wrath, just like any other. The only question left unanswered is...Will they repent for their actions and correct their own paths? Or will I be forced to do it for them?" boomed the Sentinel, electricity crackling across his snout...

Infernus simply grumbles at Horus, his speech becoming steadier now due to having rested a bit.

"Dominate with an iron fist?! Hehehehe.... Don't make me laugh. If they dominated with an iron fist, why do they fear us so? It is because they are weak."

Infernus manages to push himself to his feet, shaking dust off of his back.

"It is their weakness that drives their lust for power. It is their lust for power that drives their destructive tendencies. It is those destructive tendencies that created me and my kind! And now they persecute their creations, spawned from their own stupidity! It makes me chuckle at their lack of foresight."

Infernus snorts.

"And you help defend that? You help protect that, yet you kill others? Tell me: are you and I so different then? You kill and I kill. You protect what is yours, and I protect what is MINE."

The Dragon chuckled sinisterly, amused with the pretentious words of this naive beast. "Their fear for you is no different than your fear of me. They cower before what they haven't yet the ability to combat. Some of them have already armed themselves to face and kill you. Some are capturing and turning your kind against eachother to defend themselves" rumbled the Sentinel, the blue and gold feather-like patterns covering his black wings shimmering. "Some hunt you for pleasure. for game. Make no mistake whelp....they DO rule this planet. More so than you could ever comprehend" added the Dragon through narrowed eyes, electricity crackling across his horns as he sighed, tiring of this creature's stalling, and it's ignorance. "Do not feign knowledge where you are ignorant, whelp...It is all too easy to see through it. Weakness doesn't drive mankind.....Greed...drives them. They could not foresee your creation...just as you couldn't possibly comprehend now that your actions would bring about your doom, alongside every other living creature on this planet" boomed Horus finally, arcs of electricity crackling down his form as he prepared to end this beast...

Infernus growls, the spines that line his body's tips glowing red, smoke billowing from his form and his mouth. "Doom? Don't make me laugh." Drool drips from Infernus' maw, as he lowers his form for the Dragon's attack. "If anything, you have doomed yourself!" A flurry of fireballs fly from Infernus' maw, as the saurian charges his breath when the Dragon comes close...

As the volcanic saurian attacked, Horus beat his wings powerfully, easily evading the fireballs, which streaked beneath him, the Dragon wasting no time, two missiles streaking forward, flying outwards and around him in an arc, seeming missing him, as the Dragon unleashed a powerful beam of plasma right at the beast's face, the shear Kinetic force of the beam enough to blow the monster back several meters...

Due to having lowered his form, Infernus only backs up from the blow, but shakes his head to recover. Snarling, the fiery saurian unleashes his heat beam briefly at Horus' right wing, knowing its immunity to that attack now, before unleashing another flurry of fireballs. After firing the last fireball, the saurian bites into the earth, collecting a mouthful of boulders and dirt, an idea coming to him...

As Horus took the beam to the wing, he closed his wings, dropping right under the fireballs, as almost at that moment, two large blasts went off just behind the Saurian's legs, the two missiles from earlier having arced around and slammed into the base of the tail, pointing towards the hips, drilling into the armour before detonating, a hailstorm of Space Titanium shrapnel tearing through flesh and bone alike, Horus shooting past overhead in the aftermath, spinning round as he prepared to end it...

Cannonbeach, Oregon. The beach, streaching from horizon to horizon, and normally filled with humans, was empty. Blight crawled up out of the water, many of the injuries he had obtained earlier were by now regenerated... except or what Horus had done to him. That wound... he only hoped it would regenreate sooner or later... but right now, he needed sleep... The massive dragon collapsed on the beach, both wings spread out to absorb whatever sunlight he could. Before he knew it, he was asleep, unaware of 8 eye staring at him from a large hole in the ground 200 meters from his back, a strange kind of webbing all around the entrance of the hole...

Infernus grumbles, holding back the urge to cry out in anger, before he tosses the mouthful of earth and stone at Horus as he passes by, snarling angrily and hopping up and down in frustration. Infernus turns around, shaking his whole form, before spitting even more fireballs at Horus and backing up towards the sea, ready to swim away at a moment's notice...

Horus snarled as the boulders soared past behind him, closing one wing, causing him to spin round as he spread his wings outwards, halting in mid air, facing Infernus, explosions of flames seeming to fade from sight as the fireballs struck his wings and chest, Horus absorbing most of the thermal energy, his armour gaining a dim red glow from what remained, two large silver missiles streaking from the silos on his back, shooting upwards into the atmosphere, the Dragon going into a corkscrew dive at the monster, electricity crackling over his head, Horus unleashing a deafening roar as a pure white beam of concentrated solar energy smashed violently into the Saurian's face, the sheer force of it blowing Infernus into the air, sending him tumbling away several hundred metres inland, further away from the water...

Raptoran had escaped Tokyo, fleeing into the bay before the JSDF had a chance to muster suitable resistance for a now-50-meter-tall monster. Other than the wall around the city (which also extended nearly a mile underground to protect against burrowing threats), the military was preparing to trap a large horde of small creatures, not a single huge one. Raptoran had leaped over the wall in a single, mighty leap, disappearing into Tokyo Bay with a massive splash. Though not the most effective swimmer, Raptoran needed to find better sustenance. There had to be something else around here big enough to eat...

The Serag in the tunnels and out of the city moved onwards, searching for suitable prey for themselves. A few of the beasts swarmed Raptoran from the water, attacking with quick, ficious strikes...

Most of the Serag were trapped inside Tokyo, and any nearby that had managed to be outside the radius of the containment area and somehow climbed the wall were swiftly annihilated by overwhelming firepower from the JSDF. Raptoran ignored his attackers, not far too large to be bothered by them. Swift flicks of his arms, legs, and tail were enough to create powerful currents, tearing the tiny Serag to pieces...

Anguirus, now unperturbed by the Kryll, continued to graze in the Amazon peacefully, ignorant of a possible counterattack...

Many of the Serag, having been able to climb the walls in the first place and already most of the horde being outside of Tokyo before, swarm through other parts of the country, searching. They'd eventually find many, many more food to sustain them and the infection...

The JSDF were on high alert all throughout Japan by this point, well aware of a potential infestation that could threaten the entire country. Military patrols had been heightened ever since the arrival of Hunter, as well as the battle that succeeded it. Many cities had long since been evacuated or blockaded in an attempt to stall the Serag swarm...

The large Serag swarm had seperated into many smaller ones, which all went their own ways in search of food. They were still quite numerous alone in the swarms, which meant they could put up quite some resistance. Others, managing to reach other islands and the Asian mainland, went on from their to spread the infection. Those with 'Hunter' stayed with him as he came up from the water, gasping for air...

Infernus snarls from the solar blast and and gets shakily to his feet, blood running out from the right side of his face, his right eye closed shut to prevent being blinded from the attack, but is relatively unaffected by the roar, save for it breaking his concentration for a couple seconds. Using the attack's pushback power to his advantage, Infernus keeps his form low and soon reaches the path to Krakatoa, his safe haven. Backing up again, he slowly lumbers towards his home, scooping up a trully huge boulder in his jaws and flinging it at Horus, aiming once again for the wings, before spitting heat beam at Horus' torso, eyes and rocky spines glowing red as he pushes his energy into the attack, hoping to hit him as he loses control from the boulder....

Kori Kahn eats a small bit more of his kill before resting again in the ice and snow....

The kryll are busy at work, some gathering kryll heading out to harvest trees, grass, meat, anything to feed their kin....

Horus snarled, retaliating with his own beam as a HEAP missile screeched out of a shoulder missile-pod, slamming into the boulder, vaporising it on impact, as the unholy screech of what sounded like artillery filled the air, a pair of large blue-white explosions engulfing Infernus' back a split second later, the armour and flesh in the immediate vicinity of the blast frozen, the CRACK missiles instantly bringing the beast's scorching back to Absolute Zero, two large 10 ton Space Titanium slugs punching through the now brittle armour from within the missiles, smashing through it like glass, tearing through flesh and bone before emerging from the other side, the beast's soft underside not having the strength to resist the heavy slugs as they tore through it at nearly Mach 5...

Infernus can no longer resist the pain from the attacks, feeling the powerful slugs rip through his battle worn torso. Blood seeps from the wounds, and the once cocky and arrogant saurian lets out what is clearly a screech of pain, not anger- the first sign of an emotion. Blood begins to seep from the Smoke Clad King's mouth as he shakes his head to try and regain what little focus remained in him. Unable to control himself, the saurian collapses to one knee and pants, before resting his head on the floor. He attemptes his heat beam, but cannot muster the energy to unleash it, so simply rests there, accepting defeat.....

Deep underground something stirred,it looked like a big grey ball but it was really an enormous worm-like creature that had been in hibernation for many millions of years.

Then, for the first time in eons it started to move,at first only slightly but soon it was moving out of it's ball position and burrowing a few caverns to give itself more room to stretch.

Gidantria had no idea how much time had passed since we went into this deep sleep to escape death all those years ago but he was sure things seemed different, the soil in the caverns he had made felt different than the soil he remembered burrowing into to get here originally, how long had he been asleep?

The best way to find out was to get a look at the surface world he thought, moving his head towards the direction of the surface he "swam" through the rock towards it.

When he lifted his immense head from the ground to look upon the world he had left behind he just couldn't believe his eyes, what had happened here? This is earth isn't it?
