Horus descended from above, pushing the volcanic saurian over, once again standing with his limbs holding it down, out of reach of the beast's limbs and jaws, Horus placing one clawed hand on Infernus' head, the gap between two clawed fingers barely enough to allow Infernus to see through it at the Dragon, the Sentinel's emotionless gaze staring right back through whitish gold eyes. "Ignorant fool...you misunderstand. Your doom will come at your own claws, not mine. Your actions would eventually make this planet uninhabitable....you would kill every living thing on earth, including yourself. I suggest...you contemplate that thought" boomed the Dragon, his voice seeming to reverberate through his environment. with that, his eyes flared, electricity arcing between his nose and the Saurian's head, millions of volts of electricity channelled into Infernus' brain, knocking the weakened beast into unconsciousness nearly instantly, Horus snarling as he considered his decision. letting it live would potentially risk it awakening vengeful and causing more destruction.....but it also gave the possibility of repentance. perhaps Infernus would rise a changed beast, and realise that it's mortality was tied to the survival of the planet. perhaps when it awoke...it would awaken as an ally, and not an enemy. with a powerful leap, the Dragon once more took to the air, wings beating powerfully as his jets roared to life, rocketing him upwards into the atmosphere, already scanning for other threats...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

A dark, blank gaze and a stiff, curled up form was the cyborg's greatest pretense as he swung around the planet. His legs were tucked in, his four wings were spread and his arms were crossed, as they were when he was orbiting Jupiter. He was not delving in the past as he was before, however. While his attention was not on the Earth, it was on the entire solar system. While he couldnt identify every threat that may be heading towards the planet, he would know about one threat in particular: any and all vessels using warp technology. The energy readout would be huge- more than enough to alert Spinnerax- and the wasp would be quick to investigate and intercept.

Infernus manages to let out a weak roar before falling unconcious, all on his mind as he knocked out was to heal up and feed.... for now, at least.

Thr gatherer kryll collect large bunches from around the jungle, stripping an area of about 1 square mile completely dry of resources, and soon headed back to their hive in a massive swarm that blotted out the sun above certain areas in the Amazon....

"Welcome to your new life." Talon said with mock enthusiasm, gesturing toward the TV, which was showing "The Godfather". "You'll learn to hate this **** as much as I do, don't worry."

As Blight was fast asleep, something moved in the hole beside him. At first, it was only the slight twitching of webbing, but it was aparrant it was more than that. Something... huge was moving inside the nest...

And it was something out of one's worst nightmares.

Slowly, a long, spindley leg rose up out of the hole, before another leg rose out, then another. Slowly, the legs anchored themselves into the ground, before digging in. Out of the hole rose up a gigantic spider, 50 meters across and 30 meters high. The coloring of the arachnid was a ghstly grey, bar the yellow, venemous eyes. Two long, curved mandibles twitched as the large arthropod moved forward, all 8 eyes locked onto Blight. " A meal at last? Ever since those pathetic humans have been devoured, I have been... starving..." Kumonga hissed silently as he moved in for the kill, all 8 legs moving as slowly as possible, so as to not wake up the sleeping dragon. The giant spider had come here not too long ago, from New Zealand. Here he had found a brief feast of the local human population. However, now that the area was vacant of food, he had been waiting for a few meal to arrive, one to last him months, maybe even years...

And atleast, that meal had arrived...

"So this is what tax payer dollars went...back when...people paid taxes" Jackson said as he looked around the room, the sounds of the movie becoming a drone that he barely comprehended, a noise in the background. A simple remnant of the past was all it was now. Infact, despite the fact this place should have been a surprise to him- given the fact it was hidden in a subway tunnel- all Jackson saw it as was a place where the past resided. No foraging, no scouring the streets for shelter. Just a movie and some snacks.

"Yeah...remember when you could've went out to some bar, drink your problems away and then get smacked around by every woman you talked to? Oh yeah. I miss that. Then- then, oh boy, dancing in some club...then running for your life when they came...and the noise..." Jackson said, almost mumbling as he neared the end of his statement. He was tired and confused, but right now he didnt really care to think about anything. He moved over to the couch, laid his crude spear against the side and took a seat. "Godfather" He said afterwards. He grunted as he looked at the screen...a working television was something he hadnt seen in a while...

Talon nodded slowly, eyes still on the TV. His life wasn't particularly interesting before the mutant outbreak...but a boring life was much preferred to one spent living in uncertainty of seeing the one's next birthday...

"Did he wake up with the horse head yet, or what?" Jackson asked bluntly as he laid back in the couch, letting himself ease, for the first time in what like months. It was funny, usually he spent nights fearing the next monster attack, not daring to slumber lest his geiger counter suddenly crackle loudly as a nuclear behemoth lumbered towards him. Now, he was letting himself zone out in some strange construct, with some strange person.

Raptoran continued his swim through the Pacific, searching for more food. He felt constantly hungry, and the only thing he could do was find a way to sate it. Snapping at schools of fish, chasing larger animals, like whales and sharks, the monster continued his hunt, slowly, but steadily, growing larger as he made his way towards North America...

Then Gidantria saw something he couldn't believe, strange bug like creatures were doing something to a nearby jungle, stripping one area and turning it barren then flying off to where Gidantria didn't know but he was horrified by this all the same. What animal lives by turning it's own world into barren land?

It struck without mercy, and the amphibious creature stood no chance. Spear-like limbs stabbed into the crocodilian being from behind, the wounds immediately feeling as if salt was being poured into them in large quantities. The crocodile-like creature roared in agony, as a second set of limbs pierced its skull, ending its life in an instant. Standing over it was an insectoid-like creature, various shades of green covering its body, blending it in with its rainforest environment. The creature stood still over its prey, the last ounces of its life drained from its body to sate the Hunter. But it was merely a snack to the beast, as the crocodilian held little power of its own. The Hunter scoured the Amazon for suitable prey, something more then just the mutant scum that infested the land...

"Almost." Talon replied as he took another sip from his soda...

Slowly, the massive spider moved closer and closer to the sleeping Kaiju, the mandibles oozing poison. One of the poison globs fell into a tidal pool, resulting in a SPLASH. Upon hearing the noise, Blight's right eye snapped wide open, the dragon instictively whirled around to the direction of the sound... only to beface-to-face with the goliath spider. Kumongua, caught off-guard by its would-be prey, stepped back, both mandibles clicking against each other in irritation. The spider's legs began to bend downward, before it leapt upward, high up into the air. Blight looked up, the tired dragon having not yet realized he was in for a fight...

Anguirus shuffled in the dirt of the Amazonian rainforest, playfully digging away at the earthy loam, burying himself up to his knees or rolling around like a gigantic dog...

Raptoran was heading east, towards North America, looking for the largest landmass he could find. Passing numerous tiny Pacific islands, he zeroed in on the larger continent, looking for a place that would provide larger prey...

The screams of the old man pulled Jackson back from his trance. He had zoned out until that moment, where the man found his sheets and himself covered with the blood of his beloved horse, its dead gaze staring at him. "I heard they used a real horse head for this scene" Jackson said as he scratched the side of his face, fingers moving in between the hairs of his overgrown sideburns. "No wonder he yelled his *** off"

"I think we all would in that situation." Talon replied, getting up from his seat and approaching one of the windows overlooking the mech bay, staring out into the dark recesses of the facility silently...

The Hunter's head swept from side to side, its powerful senses searching for something worth hunting. The land was infested, meaning lesser prey was plentiful. Larger prey was a rarity, and when one caught the beast's attention, it pursued it relentlessly. Such was the case now, as it made its way through the rainforest, hiding itself among the foliage as it stealthily approached...

"Not all" Jackson replied as he remembered the faces of the disturbed and traumatized. When the city's people started to leave in droves after the attacks, he saw the distant gazes of children and adults alike. Those who had seen the buildings crumble and burn; those who had seen the carnage in the aftermath. Bloodied bodies, crushed by debris. Sometimes there werent bodies, just fleshy mounds scattered about, with a few barely recognizable, mangled parts. He was lucky, for he wasnt exposed to the worst of it all, but the things he had seen occasionally haunt him in his dreams. He brushed the memories away; he wouldnt lose sleep because he lingered on the past. He looked to the stranger and said "Nice view you've got there, huh?"

With that, Jackson also got up, heading over to the window and peering out in the darkness. He could just make out the gargantuan shape in the distance, silent and unmoving. It was the best look the battered man had of the statuesque constructs. "I was wondering what these things were...think you could tell me?" He said, glancing from the machine to the other survivor...
