"Very strange" rumbled the Dragon as he followed, going down onto all fours and lowering his physical profile, tucking his wings tightly against his flanks, squashing the satchels underneath as well, helping him manoeuvre through the trees, weaving between them, his long body winding through the foliage like a massive limbed serpent...

Alarmed chattering and the sound of parting plants sounded off as small creatures sped across the forest floor, away from the two travelers. The armored being was unsure whether they were fleeing from him, or his draconic companion that trampled through the vegetation. Thin vines hung from above, a leafy veil that would make travel on foot even harder. Reaching an impasse with the route, Desrium stopped walking and looked to the serpentine dragon, saying "I think it may be time to turn our heading to the sky"

Riva giggled at both their reactions. She put one foot behind another and bent at the knees in a curtsy. "My name is Riva, Princess of the Selkies," she said. She stood back up and blushed again. She wasn't used to giving out her title so readily, for all she knew, she couldn't trust these people.

'Arsenic,' the mute elf replied with a slight incline of his head. "Call me Vix; everyone does," Vix added.

"Andruil Lyall, at your service, your majesty" responded Andruil as he gave an overly dramatic bow, smirking, as Shiryaz leapt, fluttering back onto his shoulder as he straightened. "And I'm sure you've already met my fine feathered friend Shiryaz, here" he added, the Gryphon Hawk giving a series of chirping calls as he eyed the girl, closing his eyes and cooing happily as Andruil tickled the bird's chin...

"Finally decided it to be the wiser decision, hm?" rumbled Septimus half-jokingly as he crouched to let the armoured being on...

"Clearly" Desrium replied simply, wondering why the dragon would even ask, the joke escaping him completely. He walked over to Septimus and swung himself over his shoulders, sitting just over them and out of the way of his wings. He wrapped his arms around the giant flier's neck and said "When you are ready"

"Brace yourself....this will be a bit...sharper than last time" rumbled the Dragon as he glanced up vertically. the trees were too dense for him to spread his wings down here. he'd have to launch himself out of the canopy before he could spread them. the Dragon's eyed began to shimmer slightly, the trees closest to him swaying away from him, making room, as the Dragon leapt powerfully, launching himself a good 4 metres into the air, snarling as he spread his wings, beating them powerfully, his mind straining to force the trees out of the way of the beast's massive wings, the Dragon rocketing upwards with the force of the beat, kicking up dust on the ground as he shot out f the canopy and into the air, levelling out soon afterwards...

Desrium fastened his grip as the tree bark around the duo began to creak and crack in response to the dragon's power. His mouth parted as he pulled in a gulp of air just before the dragon sprung up to the tree tops, the loud thump of his wing beats reaching his ears. They were shortly followed by the rustling of leaves as the trees sprung back into place and the alarmed squawking of birds, which left their perches in droves, creating a wave of feathers of all colors as they skimmed across the green peaks. "Well done" The armored being commented as he looked down at the scene

"And I am Tetto'eko, former High Astromancer of Hexoatl," Tetto'eko said, with a more sincere bow then Andruil's, Mordecai nearly tumbling off his shoulder in the process. The Skink had hung back for the most part during the conversation, but his curiosity had finally gotten the better of him. He had read about Selkies before, but never seen one...

Riva nodded to the two elves and blushed at Andruil's intro. "Just Riva works," she said and moved a strand of hair out of her eyes. "I've never been called anything, but." She looked at the bird and smiled brightly. "Yes, I did," she said. "He's quite the charming bird." She giggled when Tetto'eko made his ungraceful landing. "How do you do?" she said and nodded to the small lizard. "Might I ask what you're doing out here?" she asked the group.

"Now Dione, where were you... on the morning that Jeetis was found dead?" Trajan asked the girl. The girl raised a curious eyebrow, but was quick with her response.

"I was getting ready to head off to the library, Trajan. I was getting worried about him, since I hadn't seen him since the day before. So I went off to the Library to ask the bartender there if he had seen him..." Dione answered. She didn't know why Trajan was asking her this... but judging from the now sour look on his face, and the hint of anger in his eyes, apparently, something she had said didn't match up to something that he knew...

"Travelling" responded Andruil with a smile. "And you? What brings you here, without a guardian at that?" he inquired...

"You run into many difficult flight situations where I live" responded Septimus with a smile, slowing his flight so that he could speak to Desrium without resorting to telepathy...

"Then I am lucky that you are...resourceful" Responded Desrium after a pause to find the word. "Do you have any idea where you are headed?" He asked afterward, wondering how he could be of service to his friend. He still had a debt to pay off...

Hraesvelgr soon hissed to Khorne, "stop!" just as she reached the edge of the cliff-face, part of her body already over it...

Khorne comes to an abrupt stop, realizing his near-fatal mistake. "Sorry," Khorne hisses. He then growls, "Shall I go down first?"

The other basilisk nods in disagreement, before replying, "I'll go first, you spot me from here, Khorne." Hraesvelgr soon begins her descent down the cliff-face...

Khorne nods, and watches Hraesvelgr's descent. He would make sure she stays safe as she descends...

Hraesvelgr slowly and cautiously moved down the cliff-face, using all the flat chunks of rock possible as she descended to the ground below...

"Wherever the wind takes my wings, Desrium" rumbled Septimus simply as he flew onwards, no longer beating his wings, the large membranes easily catching the thermal updraft, keeping him in the air, gliding over the landscape, forests and plains visible for miles in every direction, the massive Kirrahara mountain range visible on the horizon...
