Bagan barely had time to recover, as a blast of golden energy slammed into his shoulder with enough force to obliterate a small mountain, the blast blowing Bagan into a spin as he was systematically tested, the Sentinel considering the nature of his foe beforehand...

After finally rolling to a stop, Bagan finally was able to rise back onto his feet, the titanic Kaiju a bit wobbly. the massive monster shook his head once more, before Bagan once again made out the flying image of his opponent. This one was quite strong... Perhaps...

The demonic-looking dragon's mouth parted, whitish energies gathering inside. The beast then stepped forward, before firing a white beam of plasma from his mouth. Th ebeam shot forward, blasting into Horus's side, Bagan eyes abl to pinpoint Horus's location. The beam exploded upon impact, sending the great Sentinel to fall down toward the earth below... THis was just a test shot. Bagan was intrested in just how powerful this opponent was... both strength-wise, and durability-wise...

The thumping wings of the Sentinel streaked through the plume of flames and smoke from the blast, wisps of black smoke tracing behind the Dragon's massive wings. two beacons of light glowed in the smoke, the Beast's piercing eyes looking down at the monster through the cloud, having absorbed the brunt of the blast, parts of his armour glowing faintly around the point of impact. The Dragon shot forward through the smoke, tearing past the creature overhead going nearly twice the speed of sound, a booming sonic shockwave ripping through the sky like a thunderclap as he shot past overhead, the razor edge of the Dragon's tail slamming into Bagan's face as he passed, leaving a long gash across the beast's skull, right under the eye, the blow knocking the beast sideways , the glowing edges of the tail gaining a golden tint as the energy receptors went back into standby mode, Horus streaking round, a low growl rumbing in the behemoth's chest...

Bagan howled in pain from the blow, though his regen would quickly heal it up... if he didn't get hammered there too much. The titanic kaiju got back onto his feet, before turning in the direction that Horus had flown, a snarl forming on his face. This opponent was clearly a powerful one... his beam had no effect on it, which was an odd thing... without the beam, he couldn't hit his opponent... except if he... no, he would have that as a last resort... for now,he had to just hope this other dragon would land... then he could take the fight to it... all he could do was hope his Regen and durability could take a few more hits...

Infernus slowly rose forth form the magma flow in Krakatoa, letting out a low grumble. The smoke clad king still felt weak, and could his muscles occasionally spasming. However, he felt an urge to feed. The tyrant shakes his head and thunders towards the ocean, looknig surprisingly calm... for now.

the beast's eyes narrowed, streaks of gold seeming to crackle along the Sentinel's massive wings, just as four powerful thumps knocked Bagan forward, a volley of HESTER missiles boring deep into the monster's back, through the armour, exploding violently after having penetrated, though no visible blast was seen exiting the entry hole, the shaped charges within the missiles directed solely forward, into the monster, ensuring maximum damage was dealt, millions of chunks of space titanium shrapnel tearing through what little armour wasn't pierced, shredding the flesh beneath violently, leaving four gaping holes around the beast's spine, as Horus' jaws parted slightly, a brightness almost eclipsing the sun above them shimmering within the Sentinel's beaked jaws...

Bagan slowly rose back up onto his feet, his entire body aching with pain, blood dripping from Bagan's mouth and the wounds he had recieved.Slowly, the holes in his back were beginning to regenerate, but the pain was near unbearable, and Bagan didn't know if he had the energy to keep up the Regen. The evil-looking creature's eyes grew wide withhorror as he saw the brilliant light coming from Horus's beak. THere was no way he would be able to take another hit from that beam and keep fighting..

"WAIT! Can't w-we just... talk this out like... civilized creatures?" Bagan howled toward Horus. He knew that, at this pace, this wasn't a fight he could win. If he were to survive this, we would never want to fight this particular dragon again... By now, the volcanic eruption had stopped, though a tiny bit of magma was still bubbling up from the ground,...

"A civilised creature does not destroy the very thing keeping it alive. In your animalistic efforts to flaunt false power, you harm my realm.....my home....the earth" boomed Horus' voice, the beast's eyes glowing as he spoke, his jaws stationary, the shimmering light within his jaws growing more and more violent, wisps of the pure white energy spilling from his jaws as he eyed the creature, deciding whether or not to outright destroy it...

Gidantria had been travelling, burrowing through the earth to see what the world he once knew had become and he didn't like it Maybe things are like this for a good reason he thought while burrowing trying to be optimistic about the whole situation, but on thing he couldn't stand was all the noise, things were much more quiet before we hibernated, nothing but NOISE! It was driving him mad!

Things seemed to quite down a bit...and then more noise! a booming voice could be heard coming from the surface,I'm going to give whatevers making all that noise a piece of my mind......

Bagan's knees began to feel like jello as he felt true fear for the first time in his existance. He desperately did not wish to die... He wished to live...

"I do not wish to harm this planet in any way. I seek self-preservation, and harming this world would be a very foolish thing to do. " Bagan snarled, taking a single step back in fear. If by what Horus had said he meant this little eruption, then nothing truly bad would come of it. eruptions had come and gone thruought earth's histoy, and life had survived and prospered regardless...He didn't seek the destruction of Earth... He seeked to become the ruler of it, while protecting the humans that lived here... But just what exactly was this creature, to accuse him of harming the planet? Was this the Earth's chosen protector?

A low grumble exits infernus' mouth as he enters into the waters around his home. Swimming deep into the ocean, Infernus heads away from his home and prepares to go hunting....

"Self preservation.....by killing hundreds of thousands of creatures, some so tiny you couldn't even wrap your head around the possibility of their existence...I envy your ignorance, animal. Merely by triggering that eruption, you have successfully cut down the potential life of mankind on this planet by approximately 22 years, 325 days, and killed off several hundred species of insect and reptile in the process" responded Horus monotonously...it was his interest in what it would say that kept him from destroying it....he had already decided that the logical solution was to leave a mark this creature would never forget....To force it into neutrality....

"Hunter", all curled up into a make-shift ball, snored loudly as Serag worked tirelessly on their new home, a few dozen reaching a lake of still magma, which was one of the only light sources to the place. Others of their kind brought new hive members in each moment or two, the infection spreading slowly but surely...

Bagan shook his head, the giant creature's eyes twitching. This was no ordinary dragon here he was up against.

"Hundreds of species dead? The lifespan of humans decreased by 22 years? All from just this tiny little eruption, on a vacant streach of beach that had already been depopulated by one of the two monsters that had been here? Tell me, Dragon, just what are you, to enable you to know the status of this planet, and to judge what true threats are? I wish to avoid taking innocent lives... of humans... of animals... " Bagan growled, now very curious. He was still afraid, and now moreso, but what this creature had to say, intrested him. Sure, he wanted to become ruler of this planet, but taking the lifes of creatures he knew weren't those that could harm him? It wasn't an honorable thing for him to do... He may have been a Kaiju, but Bagan still had an honor system... or what was left of one...

"I....Am The Sentinel....The Guardian of this World. I have watched over it since your ancestors squirmed onto land. I watched mankind itself rise from the grasslands and plains as hunters, to the mighty cities they build now. I have defended this planet for EONS...from threats of it's own birthing and from creatures so far away the light of their stars wouldn't reach you for entire AGES" boomed the Dragon as he looked down at Bagan through narrowed, shimmering eyes. "I have eradicated countless creatures of your kind during this planet's lifetime...and ten times that length" rumbled The Sentinel, his wings beating powerfully, dust on the ground below being kicked up from the down force, mixed in with the smoke...

Bagan took another step back, the ancient beast trying to prevent the dust from getting into it's eyes. If what this creature said was true... then IT was the ulimate ruler of this planet. This was certainly a beast to avoid in the future, one that he didn't want to fight. "I shall make it an objective not to incure your anger in the future, Sentinel. Neither I or you seek to harm this planet or its natural inhabitants... I only seek preservation..." Bagan roared. What he had said was true, but that wasn't all he seeked. He also wished to test his strength against what new monsters have come to the Earth, but with this Sentinel here... he woul dhave to be very, veyr careful not to do anything that would put him up for destruction...
