Arsenic and Vix both gave Andruil puzzled looks, the assassin barely avoiding tripping over a protruding root. Vix was the first one to find her voice. "That was probably....the most absurd thing I've ever heard come out of your mouth, Andruil."

Andruil chuckled. "And we've only just begun our little adventure" responded the man. "But seriously, have you seen a woman dwarf before? Not a midget, a true Dwarven woman" he asked, his expression dead serious, wondering how long he could keep up the façade before they realised he was joking...

After a few steps Septimus began to worry. "Desrium? Is everything alright in there?" he growled, stopping mid stride as the thought occured to him. had Desrium accidentally flattened the jar when he entered? or perhaps....the chest...

'I counter your question with a question.' Arsenic turned to look at Andruil, expression deadpan. 'are you serious?'

At Septimus' voice, Desrium laid the slug down on the cream fabric and pulled himself away from it, sitting a few inches away with his arms resting on his bent legs. He didn't look away from the frozen creature as he replied to the dragon "How unfortunate...that your eyes only see the grave fact when there is nothing that could be done about it" His tone remained completely neutral despite the grief he had for what had happened. Had his decision to enter the satchel doomed the rare Maldevian?

"I would assume the 'seriously' in my question would answer your question before you asked it" responded Andruil...

"What're you talking about, Desrium?" asked Septimus, starting to worry about what had happened in there. meanwhile, the frozen Maldevian started to stir, the slug bending and flexing slowly, righting itself, beginning to slither it's way along once more...

'And yet the amusement coming from you counteracts that,' the telepathic elf retorted, smirking.

Desrium cocked his head at the sudden motion from the slug, its frozen casket cracking and chipping with every wriggle and writhe it made, gradually freeing itself. "Oh...how very fortunate..." Desrium went on to say as the Maldevian got upright and began to move off. Cautiously, the armored being crept forwards, plucking the slug up and opening the jar, dropping it inside soon after. "There you are...reunited with your comrades" He said as he peered through the slime smeared on the glass, noting that the slug was inactive, its body stuck in the shape of a crescent as it seemed to be frozen once more. "...And then the misfortune returns" Desrium commented as he continued to stare at the jar, confused. The creatures seemed to cross the border between life and death, but was it a finite ability? Had he doomed the Maldevian twice and brought it closer to its ultimate end? "I did not mean to kill you twice, Maldevian. Rest assured that there will not be a third time, whether you come back or not" He said to the still slug, the others wriggling about around it.

"You love to ruin my fun, don't you Arsenic?" commented Andruil as he eyed the elf. "It's no wonder you're named after poison. killing the joke with your eavesdropping psychic powers" he added...

it wasn't long before the slug continued on it's way, slithering it's way up the side of the large jar, it's underside shimmering dimly. "You killed one?" asked Septimus, an undertone of shock barely notable in his voice...

"It seems to be alright, now" Desrium replied as he put the lid back onto the jar, watching the black and blue creature, relieved.

Dire Howl traveled the forest with a purpose, keeping his large head on a swivel he ran. His Pack had located a large group of humans not to long ago, Dire Howl decided they could be dangerous and went out by himself to find the almost always unfriendly beings...

'it's not my fault you broadcast louder than a forest troll's mating call,' Arsenic retorted, smirking. Vix burst out laughing, covering her mouth in an attempt to quiet herself, though the muffled giggles were still audible.

Shezz shrugs after jabbing the goblin with the stick a few more times, before tossing it aside and continuing onwards.

Natasaika was scratching her new pet behind the ears, the dog had easily become comfortable around the elf after what had happened recently with the orge. Servan, as usual, was shouting orders at warriors and hunters and others to do things, but this time he was arguing with those who were repairing his home on how to fix it.

Ikargu looks at Saurgu and asks telepatically to both her and Sarah, "well, ya two want to go to the lake now?" "Sure," was the other ice dragon's only response.

Hraesvelgr continues on behind Khorne, letting him lead the way back to their home.

The soldiers were still preparing for war, with most of the armed forces that were ready getting called to join in, giving others time to prepare and join the assault.

Kiara continues to stirr in bed, this time more noticably, anyone nearby able to see what was happening...
"What's the plan?!" - random soldier, Mud and Blood 2.

Daciant sat on his throne,in deep thought

The scouts had returned with tales of far away lands and mighty nations as well as fanciful monsters and sorcerers, but the one thing we had asked them was Is there anywhere to settle?

They had answered with a simple no,he would have had them exiled there and then but one of the scouts lifted a frightened claw Yes? Daciant said,W-well my lord that isn't entirely true the frightened Androian said There are such lands,however...

However?! Daciant boomed

However they are already occupied,Daciant raising and eye replied By whom?
By a local faction that dwells in the area,it is small but seems well defended

Suddenly Daciant pricked up,there was a glint in his eye And these "locals" refuse to be bought out? Yes sire the scout replied They claim to have lived their for generations and think it would be an offense to their ancestors if they left

Hearing this Daciant seemed to turn off, completely ignoring the scouts as they tried to regain his attention, thoughts his mind

Perhaps these "locals" require a bit or "forceful persuasion" to make them move wouldn't you say? and as Daciant said this an almost inner flame that all ambitions rulers share could be seen in his eyes....

Dire Howl smelled the human campsite before he saw it. The small group had taken down two elk and were now roasting them in fire, Dire Howl positioned himself behind a stand of small trees. The human group Dire Howl noticed was entirely made up of males, this made the large wolf suspicious. If they were here to settle wouldn't they bring their females and offspring? Dire Howl hadn't realized yet that these humans were wildlings from the mountain in his Clans territory. "What are we to do chief?" asked a wildling. "We are here for the wolf Baroth, nothing more" said the chief. Dire Howl listened now wondering what these wildlings planed to do with the wolf...

"Oh the curses of a magnetic personality...even the elfboy wants to listen in" responded Andruil with a sigh, shaking his head as he walked ahead of the other two, his reaction seeming genuinely saddened, as if it truly was a curse...

The Dragon chuckled as he heard Desrium's response. "I should think so. Maldevians have incredible recovery rates. Even the slime they ooze is medicinal. My kind use it to heal wounds caused by a variety of venoms and even by some forms of dark magic, such as necromancy" he explained. as he spoke, another jar levitated towards Desrium, this one bound in black leather and having a whitish yellow substance in it. "Their favoured food is honey. There should be a spoon in that jar. take a spoonful and drop some into the Maldevian's jar" added the Dragon...

'Please,' Arsenic scoffed. 'You're hardly making any effort to conceal it. Your emotions blare so loudly against my mind that you're giving me a headache.' He raised a hand to his temples as if suddenly suffering a migraine.

"I radiate greatness. Can't help it" responded Andruil as he looked over his shoulder with a sly smirk...

'You radiate every emotion going through your head,' Arsenic said, cocking his head with a slow smirk spreading across his face. 'Which, I can tell you, is even more of a pain when you're asleep and have no idea what's going through your head.'

"And whhhhhy do you spend your nights listening to others' thoughts? You should do what normal people do. SLEEP" responded the man as he eyed a movement in a nearby branch, Shiryaz nibbling on a mouse, glancing at the group between every few bites of the furry morsel in his talons...

'I was on last watch last night, remember?' Arsenic said with a chuckle. 'I had a...let's call it a mental bubble of sorts, set up around us. Meaning i could 'hear' everything inside and from far enough off that I could wake you. Normally I'm pretty good at blocking out what I don't want to hear. But you have a loud and active mind, Andruil.' He chuckled again.
