The allosaur duo heard the mating calls of a far off tyrannosaur. "Hmmm.... bizarre that they are wooing each other at this time of the year...." Pale Kaiser growls. "Does it honestly matter much to you?" Goldfang hisses. "I'm just glad that that dumb wall of muscle isn't chasing our tails." "True," the albino male grunts. "Let's make sure to avoid that area." Goldfang nods and the duo heads off to go explore their territory.....

The green and black raptor hopped down the rock slope to the clear trickling water, the creek glistening whenever stray rays of shone down upon it. He dipped his snout into the cool water, lapping up a few mouthfuls of water before raising his gaze, surveying his environment. Making sure there weren't threats around with keen eyes, sense of smell and hearing, Aircrest went back to quenching his morning thirst. With that taken care of, he shifted his focus to food, something that could keep him going for most of the day. Usually it would be a small morsel, meals like the Abrictosaur he had didn't come often. It was why he was relatively thin compared to other raptors, his life style in the trees demanded a lot of energy and catching prey everyday was no guarantee

Renegade shifted into a more upright position.
"Isss that right?" he growled. NOW he was surprised. He was still a little too fuzzy to realize he had a reason to be scared of a large rex in such close proximity to him; the after effects of being knocked out.
Moving toward the piece of flesh the dinosaur had thrown to him, he bent down to sniff it. After a moment, he tore a strip off it, tossing it in the air and swallowing it whole.
"If what you sssay is true, you have my thanksss... however, there was another companion of mine with me... did you happen to sssee him?" he inquired, his senses not fully alert yet, preventing him from noticing Bane mere feet away...

"Oh good, you're awake. come in here. We've got guests" barked the Rex to his friend outside, before turning to address the Raptor's question. "....You mean the one resting next to you?" growled Crusher as he eyed the Raptor through curious eyes, stopping his feeding frenzy for a few moments...

Blade nearly collided with Cirrus as he stopped, the youngster leaping hard, vaulting over his playmate and tumbling along the floor as he landed, an upset grumble coming from the youngster as he pulled his face out of the dirt, getting to his feet and shaking his head, flecks of dirt being shaken off, turning to eye Cirrus irritatedly, a squeak of annoyance emphasizing it...

Again and again, the Male Tyrannosaurus kept letting out mating calls to Blackside, yet time after time, the female Rex simply ignored him. However, after the 8th call, she stopped abruptly, before turning around. From where he was hiding, Monozu could instantly notice something... diffrent about Blackside. there was a certain look to her face, one he knew only too well... a look that sent shivers down his spine.

"You know, I do like a persisent mate..." Blackside growled lowly as she kept her eyes on the male T-rex, her voice sounding almost seductive. "Do you, perhaps... really wish for a mate like me? There are far better ones out the-"

"A fine specimen like you is rare here! You fit my type." The massive male T-rex injected with his deep, booming voice. The yellow patches on his black skin seemed to shimmer as he neared Blackside, by now both Rex's alongside one another. This female would do him well. Sure, she was but a teenager, based on how she looked, but there was no law to prohibit this so-

As quick as lightning, Blackside slammed her weight as hard as she could into the male Tyrannosaurus. Having been caught off guard, the giant male howled in pain as he lost his balance and toppled onto his side. Wasting no time at all, Blackside went onto the offensive. She raked his side with her foot, leaving long, bloody trenches in it. The male Rex couldn't do anything, he having been put into shock by her sudden aggression. he had never had this sort of thing happen to him before. Sure, he had suffered from tempermental females before, but that was usually AFTER mating, not before it could begin. Taking advantage of his position, Blackside lifted up one foot, then smashed it down upon his shoulder. The male Rex winched as his right arm and ribs were broken. Smirking, Blackside tuned and waled away, a glint in her eyes.

"Like I already said, your not my type, creep." Blackside snorted as she headed off into the undergrowth. The male T-rex, finally snapping out of it, rose up onto his feet, what appeared to be a smirk forming on his face. Even after suffering from a broken arm and cracked ribs, he was still intrested in her...

and this incident only futhered his interest... Though he would punish her for doing this dmamge to her...

Gothmog soon awakens himself, letting out a low groan as he rises slowly to his feet. He notices that Eradicus is still asleep, so decides to head out and catch something to eat. "Sleep well, my large friend..." Gothmog growls before he heads out to hunt....

The hunt brought Aircrest back to the dense jungle where the elder called his home, moving silently over the branches, the light of the morning streaming down through the closely packed leaves. As much as he wanted to focus on finding something to silence his stomach and cease the pangs of hunger, Aircrest's thoughts would slip to how much he didn't want to see the rusty red raptor, at least not until he had bettered himself. As it stood, he was nothing but an object of amusement for the old creature, something that filled him with shame and frustration. His lips peeled back, revealing his teeth and gums as he dwelled on the matter. How he wanted to see the elder's face in the future, when he would stand before him not as a simpering youngling, but a strong individual forged by the hardships of his home. Shame and frustration turned to pride and determination as his thoughts shifted to that moment that seemed so far away in his imagination. His curled lips came together in a reptilian smirk as he made a silent pledge to himself to make that day a reality. A stomach pang yanked his attention back to his hunger, in turn making Aircrest scour his surroundings for signs of things to eat.

Cirrus let out a small sound of surprise before crouching and baring his teeth at Blade in a
mock growl. His chin swayed low to the ground, like a snake's, as he prepared to pounce.

Renegade swung his head around, feeling a slight wave of dizziness as he did so, to see Bane, just now waking up. The raptor was curious to know what had transpired while he was unconscious. At any rate, the other dinosaur seemed friendly; they were in no immediate danger, he concluded, unless the unknown voice he had just heard was, in fact, not just him hallucinating. He bent his head down, holding the meat with his foot while tearing off another strip of it and eating it...

The young Giga lumbers through the primordial jungle, using the shade of the massive trees and the clumps of dirt piled up around to avoid the sight of potential prey. A pair of coelophysis are engaging in close quarters combat no more than twenty yards away from his current position. The ten foot long bulls screeched at each other, sliced with razor sharp claws, nipped with narrow yet surprisingly powerful jaws, and paced around in circles, as if hopnig to intimidate the other into fleeing the area. Neither budged from their spots and the fighting went on like this for nearly another hour. Eventually, one of the coelophysis surrenders and backs off, fleeing into the jungle. The now dominant male screeches in victory before returnnig to his post. Gothmog, hungry, locks his gaze on the now solitary male, waiting until his back is turned for him to strike.....

Eradicus slowly begins to wake up, before looking around a bit. The carchar soon got up and left the cave through a tunnel leading out the back. He circled around towards the entrance to check inside the log Gothmog had been sleeping inside of, only to find he was gone. "Might've gone woken up earlier than me and went out for something to eat," the young animal thought, before heading off to patrol his territory.

The pack, on the other hand, excluding the sentries, were all asleep in the practically dark canopy of trees, where only some sunlight got in. Lightning was the first to wake up, however, and he nudged his mate Sabre awake. The two would go out and find some small scavengers for their chicks and the rest within the pack to eat on...

The male coelophysis goes to lie down for a few moments, before he quickly falls asleep. The fool. It is a fatal move to sleep in the open when one is so small. Now he would pay for it with his life. Moving as quietly as he could, Gothmog approaches the male coelophysis before snappnig down on his neck. The creature squeaks before gonig limp. Grunting, Gothmog drags his kill back towards the log he was in, ready to feed...

Blade accepted the challenge, standing low, legs set wide apart as his head was held a couple of inches from the ground, the young predator making a low growl as he eyed Cirrus with narrow, though excited eyes...

It wasn't long before the leg was skeletonized, and Crusher was left feeling only partially hungry. his high metabolism was burning through his meal so fast he barely felt satisfied for more than a few minutes. he'd need to hunt soon. with a bit of luck, the two raptors would leave soon and give him a chance to go hunting...

Darkness lifted his head at Crusher's words, not yet realizing that there was anyone else nearby. Scenting the air, he was able to identify two fresh scents: that of raptors. "...Yeah no, I'm fine right here." he responded, having a natural distrust of his own kind...

Dryosaurs of different shades of dark brown and green frantically scurried around the feet of Parasaurolophus, the crested herbivores standing tall on their hind limbs. Their beaked mouths plucked leaves from the trees and the smaller herbivores made short work of any scraps that fell their way. The heard of Parasaurolophus were spread out amidst the thick vegetation, their feeding creating a path through the jungle; though it was already being reclaimed as the jungle regenerated what had been lost. Aircrest heard the distinct sounds of their calls long before he saw their dull orange hides, a myriad of red and blue stripes adorning their flanks. He sat in a tree that one of the large creatures was eating from, eying it from above- or rather- eying the scampering Dryosaurus beside it...

As Blackside moved off, Monozu pulled up beside her. "You do realzie how stupid that was on your part, correct? You could have been killed easilly by that... THING" Monozu snapped at Blackside, before continuing, "This wreckless behavior has got to stop now. How do you tink I would feel if I found out you got yourself killed doing something stu-"

" Why didn't you help me?" The question pierced Monozu through the heart, stopping him in mid-rant. Blackside stopped, before turning to face the Suchomimus. " The second that Rex appeared, you bolted for cover. Are you really that timid? Are you not going to stand up for yourself, but keep running?" At this, Monozu hung his head down. He realized that Blackside was right. Truth be told, they both had issues that needed to be ironed out. Just as Monozu was worried about Blackside's immaturity and wrecklessness, so too was Blackside worried about Monozu's timidness and fright... Both carnivores looked at one another, then began to chuckle.

"I do have to admit, though... The way you handled that Rex was rather nice. I never thought I'd live long enough to see something like that done." Monozu growled. Blackside simply nodded, and the two of them began to move out once again. She remembered back, to just a few days before she left her family. They had been enjoying a kill when a large male T-rex showed up. Since the threat tht the male would easilly kill the young ones was a very real possibility, her mother had done to it what Blackside had done to this Rex. Blackside sighed. She did miss her family...

"Your choice. I'm going hunting though. still hungry. I'll leave these two to you" growled Crusher as he got to his feet, stretching widely before heading out the entrance of the cave, aiming for the jungle, his senses already on full alert, searching for food...

"Like hell!" Darkness growled, standing and leaping off the perch as Crusher exited the cave. "Your guests, your problem. I'm not going to play babysitter." he continued, expression showing his annoyance.

After some time of contemplation, Aircrest finally settled down on a plan on securing a Dryosaur. It was risky and he wasn't sure just how effective it would be, but it had the potential of saving him from being trampled by a startled Parasaurolophus. If he simply pounced from the tree, his sudden appearance would certainly send the plant eaters into a maddened stampede. It would be hard enough killing the Dryosaur amid the chaos, it would be impossible to eat his meal with the giants stomping about in panic. Rather, he intended to use the chaos to his advantage. He pulled in a lung-full of air and let out a loud call that echoed through the area, fallowed by barks and screeches. The overlapping sounds and their echos made it seem as if an entire raptor pack had surrounded the herd, and as expected they quickly stopped eating and made haste along the path they had come. Dirt and dust billowed in their wake and the frantic calls of Dryosaurs were faint among the loud, alarmed trumpeting of the Parasaurolophus. Aircrest dropped down into the fray and went after them on swift legs, looking through the jumbled mess of motion to single out his target...

the Rex frowned at the Raptor's response, disappointed. "Darkness" he growled, eyeing the Raptor for a moment. "I'm. hungry" he added, snapping his jaws twice, the loud claps of his jaws clamping shut emphasising the point. "You know how i get when i don't get enough to eat. I'd hate to accidentally find a chunk of your tail caught between my teeth" he added, smirking. "you can ignore them if you like. I'm still gonna go get food though" growled the young Rex, his toothy grin widening...
