Oblivion looked slightly alarmed as Eradicus said this. "How big was the rex?" She barked in wonder.

Darkwing landed in her nest, and covered her clutch of 3 eggs with her wings. Finally, she was home. SHe hadn't had a decent rest in ages, and her eggs where due to hatch soon. Forgetting Felkae for the moment, she began eating her catch of fish.

Gothmog nods to Eradicus before turning to Oblivion. "Since I'll be out hunting for my buddy here, I shall get you something as well." The young giga cautiously looks around, before he heads into the jungle....

"Well, you probably need to rest your wings, so we'll get somethnig to drink at the watering hole," Nidhogg replied.

"Bigger... than me and Gothmog combined, I think," Eradicus simply growled.

Felkae continued to tear into the fish, turning it into nothing more than bones in moments. He knocked said skeleton off the mountain, which shattered upon hitting the ground...

Oblivion looked at Gothmog and roared a thanky you to him before he entered the jungle.
She then looked at Eradicus, "He's very kind." She remarked with a quite growl before replying to the male. "Do you think the three of us could take him?

At the mention of water, Dawn realized just how thirsty she was. She grew excited, she loved the watering hole, there where lots of small fish for here ot eat there. She began to squirm around happily.

Remembering Felkae, Darkwing spun her head around to look at the male and asked him with a casual caw, "Want some more fish?"

Eradicus nodded in disagreement, saying, "I don't want to get either of you hurt. One day though, one of these days, I'm going to get revenge, somehow, just somehow," and then went back to looking at the bird...

Olbivion was slightly surprised when Eradicus mentioned her didn't want her gettinghurt. She had just met the male, and he was already concerned for her safety. His ndness must have been the reason he and Gothmog spent most of their time togeather. Seeing he wanted to be left alond, oblivion rolled over and began to sleep.

Gothmog stepped cautiously into the woods, looking about for potential threats and sniffed the air. Some herterodontosaurs were nearby, and would make a great snack for the duo. He heads in their direction, wondering how he would catch them both...

Nidhogg keeps flying along, seeing the plains roll beneath them both, as the smell of water fills his beak's nostrils. they were still a while off from the watering hole, but he could certainly smell its delicious gifts from this high up....

The scent of water filed Dawn's small nostrils. Growing even more excited, she began happily screeching.

Erosion whipped her head around. Instnatly emberassed that the male had seen the whole ordeal, she quickly closed her frill. "Uhm, did you just see all of that?", barked the female.

Erosion stamped her foot and whipped her head around for a moment as a few dragon flys flew past her face. "Your probably right, those things don't have much meat on them at all..." said the female in a quick hoot. Just then a wounded Edmontosaurus tore across from the treeline and into the feild. The large herbivore slowed down and came to a standstill. The massive hadrosaur was panting, blood dripping from scars in its side. A lucky survivor of a raptor attack, though the herbivore wouldnt live much longer. Eorsion looked over at Dante and hooted, "I'm Erosion, I'll tell you more later, but right now, lets finish that Edmontosaur off." The female Dilophosaur then bared her teeth, and charged forwards at the herbivore.

Soon, Nidhogg soon dives down towards the watering hole, slowing his descent before he lands with a thump. He lowers his form for Dawn to get off.

There were many creatures by the watering hole, ranging from sauropods to ceratopsians to smaller pterosaurs. nidhogg glances aroudn a couple times, making sure it is safe for them to drink...

When Nidhogg finally landed with a loud thump, sending bits of dust in the air, Dawn began chirping happily. She hopped off her father and let out a happy, but broken caw. Not paying attention to any of the other animals around her, Dawn began drinking water, and was quickly distracted by dragonflys. She lept into the air repeatedly and nipped at the insects while chirping madly.

Seeing there were no imminent dangers that he could see, he began to drink slowly out of the water, dipping his long, paddle-like beak into the water, before sinking his whole head in and quickly pulling it out to cool himself off. He lets out a couple caws before his eyes lock onto a fish. He turns to Dawn, who was busy snapping at Dragonflies. He nudged her a couple times with his beak before gesturing towards the water.

"Found a nice fish for you. Want to try and catch it?" he chirped, inquiring her.

As Dawn was attempting to catch the nimble dragonflies, her father nudged with his beak. Dawn stopped and looked up at her father, and listened intently. Without hearing what else her father had to say, dawn sprang forwards, using her strong forelimbs to push herself into the air as she glided oveer the watering hole and snatched up a small fish in her beak. Not yet a great flier, the young Ornitochirus slammed into her father, still carrying the fish in her mouth. She looked up at her father, dropped the fish infront of him, and began happily chirping, "did I do good?"

Nidhogg cackled with joy. "Well done!" The elder nudges the fish towards his daughter. "Eat up. You deserve it."

The juvenile raptor was making so much noise with her own footsteps, despite her attempts to be quiet, that she couldn't have heard the second pair if she'd tried. She simply continued walking half-crouched, her path following a slight, involuntary zigzag. The grass hid her fairly well here, but, she decided, as soon as it started to thin, she would turn back. It didn't seem to her that there was anything to see out here, and she didn't want Beryl to worry if she was late...

Crusher continued to explore the forest, the sounds that were once bustling, unignorable, now borderline inaudible, only the loudest booming roars and bellows audible in the distance, the chitter of insects much less abundant here than elsewhere. it was a surreal experience for the young Rex, who had lived all his life surrounded by the sounds of the wild. A rustle nearly made the Rex jump, his head snapping towards the source, seeing the end of a thin tail disappear into the undergrowth. grunting, the Rex continued onwards. perhaps the place wasn't completely lifeless afterall. As he walked on he noted a heaviness in the air. a forboding feeling of dread seemingly emanating from the surrounding plantlife itself...

"Is it getting louder?!" Aircrest thought as he looked about frantically, trying to see in between the blades of grass. There were so much that no slight chance of the wind would reveal anything hiding in the vegetation. "Calm. Stay ca-" He told himself. He didn't finish the thought, as when he pushed ahead, he came face to face with the other raptor. He stared at it blankly, though one thought occurred to him at that moment. "Oh crap"

The female Dilophosaurus stopped running after abit, panting heavily to catch her breath. That had been a close one... heck, this whole day had been hectic for her. First, she had been chased off her kill, then gotten trapped between a rock and a hard place... and it wasn't even evening yet... the female Dilo groaned silently, cursing her rotten luck. she turned around and spotted the other female Dilo heading toward her..

Blackside and Monozu kept on moving, neither saying a single word. They both looked at one another for a brief moment, then averted their eyes. Blackside knew already that what she had done, rushing head-first into a herd of Barosaurus, was a foolish thing, and something that Monozu would no doubt pick apart...
