F U, BULLFANGO! F U!
I got to the Rank 2 Village quests, and decided to try out the pink bird of doom first (Yian Kut-Kut).
Due to me being unable to get the controls down, it was a nightmare. Everytime I tried to use a potion, 500 pounds of bird slammedinto me. I die twice to him, and when he was weakened, and about to be captured on the second Tranq bomb? Bullfango rams into me and kills me, making me loose the quest... And I thought Rhenoplous were annoying...
That said... anyone know where to get Giant Bones from? I'm trying to get some good armor early on...

@ HF: How did crocs survive? They're water bound, but they didn't all die out... it perplexes me, because they're very finicky animals compared to, say, a garden lizard or snake.

Croc are adaptable creatures that eat a wide variety of prey. Thanks to their amphibious nature, they were able to deal with the KT event rather well...
I am currently hunting Khezu... with a dull hammer... how intresting... I knew I should have gotten that Kut Kut Bow...Damn jerk's hide's near inpenetrable...

Aim for its head and get at least a green sharpness weapon. Or else the ******* IS impregnable. Also, he's weak to fire. Keep that in mind.

I DO have a green sharpness weapon, but I suck with Dual Swords... I'm trying to get the Blagona Destroyer + asap, but I just need one more dang Killer beetle...
My armor of Bullfango Mask, Kut Kut arms, chest, and waist, and Sand Plesioth legs are doing quite well...I get a nice health boost, though I plan on getting full Rajang armor later on... or maybe full Plesioth armor...

Rajang does not pop up until WAAAAY later in the game. For Khezu, get full Kut-Ku armor, since I believe it resists thunder element.

Kut Ku armor has fire resistance.
If you think Khezu is bad, wait until you fight g-rank red khezu. I tried every weapon imaginable to fight him, and failed every single time. Then I decided "**** it" and took the TDS (which is thunder element, like khezu) and chopped him to bits.
And that is why I love the TDS.

Got WTFowned by Khezu, due to hammer being too dull. Went to get a Kut Kut Bow, and promptly murdered him in 10 or so minutes. He never landed a hit on me... I think I just found my new favorite weapon... might use the Bow again on Plesioth...
