Burzum smiled.

"Excellent."

The stalkers continued waiting before Sharavuras joined them.

"If we are to go out and conquer, my friend, I will need you to help my men in recruiting."

The masked man bowed, along with the rest of the stalkers and the Castellan.

"Mara- I want you to go with Sharavuras to the Zi-Mal. There, you will recruit the Black King, whose men will help us out greatly in future battles."

Burzum then turned to Akuro.

"Akuro- I want you to join the Stalkers on their quest to find the dragon Bardhvadok. He is illusive and lives on the snowy peaks of the Kirrahara. Be careful- while he does not belong to any of the local tribes and knows no magic, he is still a deadly foe and should not be played with. Apprehend him as soon as you can and bring him back here."

Sammael hit the ground at an awkward angle, tumbling on his unwounded side and laying still for a moment. Tetto'eko inched forward slightly, narrowing his eyes at the Hellhound. It seemed familiar, but where...

"...everyone, step away! Now!" The Skink chirped, his voice uncharacteristically alarmed and frightened, already scrabbling backwards, continuing to charge a magical attack. Already, Sammael's wound was beginning to seal, and there was a horrendous sound of cracking bone as the injured muscle fibers stitched themselves back together, and the bones beneath simply rearranged themselves, allowing the Hellhound to stand back up, looking no worse for wear and glaring daggers at Andruil, waiting for him to make another move...

Nitsunobue charges Sammael, blood thirst evident in his eyes, as he brings his tusks down to the hellhound's level, thrustign them into his foe's blindside...

Sammael's Demonic reflexes kicked in at that moment, the Hellhound leaping into the air, dodging the horns and latching onto Nitsunobue's head, clawing and biting furiously at the wyvern's skull, his natural weapons more than a match for the artificial ones of other creatures...

Akuro and Mara both nodded. "Understood." They replied, before turning to face one another. In akuro's mind, this made sense. If he were to rule over this place, he would need to be tested first, to make certain he was fit to rule...

"Mara, should anything go wrong," Akuro wispered, in a voice so low that no one else could hear them, "do not worry. Viral should be closeby when your fulfillnig your mission. I will make certain of that."

"Yes, my master." Mara responded, before she went over to Sharavuras, and Akuro went over to the stalkers...

Nitsunobue roared with a fury matched only by Sammael himself, the Wyvern swinging his head about wildly and scratching at Sammael with his muscular forearms in an attempt to rip him off. The wyvern knows how tough this creature is now, but doubts it can withstand the sheer brute strength of a 50 foot beast like himself.....

Sharavuras rose to his feet, towering roughly 7 inches over Mara's head. "Come, Mistress Mara- our mounts await our arrival." The Wraith turns and heads towards the stables.....

The Morgul Stalkers rose to Akuro, before the Masked Man spoke. "Are you able to fly, Lord Akuro...... or will we need to provide you with a mount?"

With his advantageous perch, Sammael skittered away from Nitsunobue's claws, scrabbling roughly across the wyvern's head (making sure to dig his claws in as he did so) and got to the back of his neck, biting down hard...

The venom was taking effect already, the hellhound's every move only helping to speed the process along. The nerves at and around the penetration site would soon begin to feel numb, almost paralyzed...the muscles would become unresponsive...and eventually all but the breathing would slow, leaving the beast open to attack.

Aviva and Zar took turns diving in, talons extended, doing what damage they could while Arsenic charged up for a telepathic assault on the creature. Arsenic himself kept himself between Vix and the hellhound, preventing her from both joining the fight and being attacked, knowing that they couldn't afford her having another seizure here.

Sammael's Demonic form, unnatural and beyond that of any mortal creature, was largely unopposed by the venom, though the Hellhound certainly felt its presence, and was rather annoyed by it. However, he had dealt with poison before. It would not be enough to stop him. Still, when the pair of dragons began to swoop in for an attack, Sammael decided he had gotten his point across, and leaped off Nitsunobue's back before they could reach him, the Hellhound bounding off into the forest at a speed far greater than that of any terrestrial dog...

In his fenzy, Nitsunobue bellows and pursues the Hellhound, drool dripping from his maw.

"KILL THE DEMON! SPAWN OF ARCHDEMON! TRAMPLE! GORE! CRUSH! TEAR TO SHREDS!"

Blood dripped down the Wyvern's neck and frill as he charged into the forest, disappearing from sight, following the distinctive scent of the hellhound...

Ignoring the furious wyvern, Sammael focused on escaping. For now, his targets would have to wait. He had another job to do as well, and this one was significantly easier than handling a large band of well-armed travelers...

Akuro chuckled. "Oh yes... I can fly all right... Just, wait right here for a minute... I'll be right back." The demonic creature growled, before he took off like a rocket, heading out of the castle like a blur. Oh yes, he could fly... but he'd regret having to do this later on. His pride would definitely be eating away at him.

Mara nodded, a little uneasy with the tall figure, but pushed the thought away and followed him...

The Stalkers chuckled before running outside and whistling aloud. Suddenly, five black, wyvern esque monsters screeched into the heavens and descended from somewhere off in the distance into the courtyard. The Stalkers mounted the Fell Beasts and awaited Akuro's return....

Soon, they entered the stables, where a giant black Clydesdale, clad in onyx armor, and a slightly smaller brown and white horse, clad in iron armor, awaited them. Sharavuras mounted the intimidating looking clydesdale, and awated Mara to mount her horse...

Sammael continued to race through the forest, heading farther away from the path, for several reasons. First of all, it was quite obvious that he wasn't going to be getting anything done simply fighting them head-on, especially with those dragons in the way. He was less concerned about the wyvern, now that he had delivered his potentially lethal payload. He would need to wait until the rest were more vulnerable, which brought him to his next reason: Zazikel wanted something out here. Something long since hidden, and only known by the memories of the true Zazikel, ones that the Archdemon who had taken his name now knew. A buried force that would be more than a match to disrupt this ragtag band of misfits...

Nitsunobue continued his chase, deep, raspy breath exhaling from the Horned Tyrant's maw, his nostrils flexing in an attempt to find the demon's scent. His eyes are narrowed and his muscles tensed, the dreaded beast was furious to the point of insanity. Soon, he caught the Hellhound's scent again, and with a roar, charged in that direction. He will make the demon pay for aligning with the forest-killing Archdemon Zazikel...

Sammael's spot where he had ambushed the travelers had been quite convenient, relatively near his secondary objective. Somewhere, deep in these woods, was an ancient ruin. In there was where he'd find what he was looking for. And the wyvern chasing him would be the force's newest victim...

A few moments after Sammael reached the ruin, the thundering sound of a large beast is heard. Soon enough, the wyvern himself bursts forth from the shrubbery, nearly tearing a tree down in his frenzy. His eyes appear to be yellowed and bloodshot, in contrast to his normal black eyes.

"YOU! YOU SUFFER NOW!"

With his trademark screech, Nitsunobue charged Sammael, unaware of the danger he's in...

The ruin was relatively simple, set in an overgrown clearing that hadn't been traveled through in a very long time. Dominating the center was a large stone statue of some kind, made up of six pedestals surrounding a large, simple orb of rock sitting on its own pillar. The entire statue was somewhat overgrown, and very simple in design. Not very much to look at. However, if one knew what they were looking for, like Sammael (though also in part thanks to the magic failsafes and "modifications" Zazikel had given him during the summoning process), they would detect the telltale signs of ancient magic. Specifically, the kind used to imprison other beings. And that magic had gradually weakened over the years, finally ready to be broken.

Sammael, however, had a more immediate concern: the gigantic, furious wyvern charging straight for him yet again. The Hellhound rolled to the side, letting Nitsunobue thunder past, before scampering towards the ruin in the center of the clearing...

Nitsunobue attempted to turn to continue his chase, sliding a good fifteen feet, leaving a large dirt rut in the ground. The wound on his leg from Andruil's slash earlier in the night was getting worse, but Nitsunobue's fury prevented him from feeling its pain- his mind was focused solely on killing Sammael. Nitsunobue soon continued his chase, now semi-galloping after his foe to compensate for the wound on his leg....

Sammael was already by the ruin's central structure by the time Nitsunobue had begun his next charge. The Hellhound quickly placed a clawed foreleg on the giant orb, following the mental instructions he had been given to unlock the stony prison. His hand began to glow white, the energy traveling over the orb itself, covering it in bright webs of light, before the entire structure began to shine, and Sammael stepped back, ignoring the wyvern for the moment as he watched the magical prison slowly unlock itself...
