"That can be arranged," Zazikel replied simply. His grip on the amulet tightened. "Of course, this little trinket is staying here until your loyalty is no longer in question..."

"Do not test me, master demon" Deka hissed, his eye narrowing as he strengthened his own iron grip on the piece. "Our agreement was that you'd relinquish this amulet, in exchange for such reliability, when and where necessary. Otherwise... who's to say I'll ever see it again? Even if you weren't to connive me out of it, the good King may see fit to," he Shade said, glancing at Draco. "Nay, it stays with me..."

[Godzilla Forever]

Draco grumbled at Deka. He has had enough of its insolence.

"You have said enough, shade. Give us that amulet back, or else I'll have to wrench it from your body."

Draco draws his blade again, as Immanis' axe crackles with electricity.....

[Evil Eye]

A tendril swiftly shot out at Immanis at high speed, ripping the axe from his grip before he could react. A brief ringing sound was audible, the head of the axe embedded in the floor, inches away from Draco's feet. The message was clear...

[Godzilla Forever]

Draco continued standing his ground, much to the surprise of Immanis. Normally, Draco wasn't one to be up for a fight. But apparently Draco has had enough with this demonic spawn. Draco gestured to Immanis- a sign to attack- and the high guard of Draxon complied.

A bolt of lightning fired out from his right hand, heading straight for the Shade. The magic seemed to call upon an ominous presence, for Immanis felt something attempt to break his conciousness. Years of training, however, helped the aging brute of a man fight off the feeling. Soon, Draco himself unleashed a ball of flame from his off hand, hoping to catch Deka in a two-pronged attack....

Guame rubbed his chin, his eyes still locked onto the winged lizard. "If that is the case..." he sighed, biting his lip. "Is there anything we can do to stop that...thing... or is it completely unstoppable?"

"It is not unbeatable, but I'm afraid what is necessary for its defeat is beyond what us three are capable of." Tzeentch responded, eyes glowing brightly. "Your time is best spent lying low, while seeking out others who would aid us."

Guame's forehead wrinkled up in thought as the beastman tried to think of who would help them. His eye looked briefly at Djinn, but she looked away, the hole in her left eye all too apparent. If only Djinn weren't limited in power so greatly... but, that was something that couldn't be changed without killing her... but who else... "Is there anyone you know of you may be able to help us against this fiend?" Guame asked...

"No one being is capable of matching this being's power, however powerful your friend used to be." Tzeentch said suddenly, reading the beastman's mind. "I tell you this not to frighten or discourage you, but to make sure you do not underestimate the problem at hand." the little creature continued, unblinking eyes staring directly at Guame. "We must seek aid in the various factions that operate on Aster. It is, after all, a problem that threatens them all. We can only hope they will set aside their differences, though I fear they will not do so until the nature of the threat is made all too apparent." Tzeentch explained with a small sigh. "Just...stay far from a city known as Freyr-Lunge."

"Freyr-Lunge? What is so dangerous about that city?" Guame asked, keeping an eye on Djinn to prevent her from speaking her mind on that first little statement. Never in his travels had he heard of a city by that name... but whatever reason it was that they couldn't go there, it was probably a very good reason...

"It is the capital of Draxon. When the being struck me down, our minds connected for a brief instant. Information, about Draxon and about the evil that descended on it some time ago, was taken from me in the exchange. In turn, I saw the being's intentions. Freyr-Lunge is not a safe place to be in right now." Tzeentch explained calmly, expression unchanging.

[The Kingpin]

"Only my ears. those screeches were painful" responded Andruil with a chuckle as he pressed the edge of his wrist against his ear, unable to do anything more than that due to the leather and steel gauntlets wrapping his hands. "Tetto'eko? you alright?"...


In spite of Septimus' discomfort over the recent discoveries in Zuppoland, he couldn't help chuckling. "Angry Box, hm? Honestly, I dare say 'Angry Box' would do quite a bit more than talk. Knowing it's habits, it'd probably prefer to wrench the Dragon's soul from it's body and consume it. it's tried it with me in the past" commented the Dragon as he headed towards the shore, glancing out over the water as a serpentine neck arched a couple of feet out of the water, the beast's body arcing out at an angle moments later, only one side of the Sea Serpent's flank visible, two long quilled fins rising out, splayed against it's flank, resembling the fins of a lionfish, the Serpent descending below the waves once more...

Tetto'eko opened his ear holes when the Banshees retreated, and the light in his staff dimmed slightly. "About as well as can be imagined. It appears, however, that there is more than just these creatures involved. Something else is stalking us..."

"Why do you keep the Angry Box?" Desrium asked, turning to look at the serpent as it slipped under the water once more. The red light of his eyes glimmered on its exposed scales before it disappeared into the dark ocean. It seemed as if Septimus had an affinity for attracting the arcane and malevolent, be it the sealed demonic entity or the armored Blood Omen himself...

[The Kingpin]

"It's dangerous. The chest contains a Demonic Tome. the chest itself is harmless, unless the tome has since corrupted it. Leaving it where I found it would put everyone in it's vicinity at risk. I took it from a merchant who was more than happy to part with it. it began consuming some of the other artefacts in my satchels, so I had the tome chained, placed in a small chest, and had the chest itself chained and enchanted to ensure it couldn't be opened without my consent" responded Septimus as he swam forward, carving a path through the waves, a long wake left behind the Dragon as he powered forward towards the shore...

"And that is why Angry Box is angry" Desrium replied. "Being a demon contributes to its disposition also I would suppose..." he added after a moment of thought, seeing that the shoreline drew ever nearer. His sharp eyes picked up on the tall, swaying beacon of light in the distance. A fire, seemingly ablaze beside a massive boulder of sorts that was covered with timber...

Nitsunobue continued about, attempting to find the elves or the lardman, but to no avail. He sniffed, he listened, he felt for vibrations- how far had he wandered from the others? Not deterred, Nitsunobue continued searching, the words of the demon still in his mind, and Anarchy and Tranquility each trying to convicne him over the other....

With his free hand, Deka twisted around and fired an a wide ranged energy blast, born, again, from Zazikel's abilities. The beam hit the lightning bolt, negating it entirely. The fireball seemed to stop halfway through its course, Deka drawing on the amulet's power, hanging there. With a glance from the Shade, it struck the tendril Zazikel was holding onto the relic with, Deka managing to weaken his hold on it as he attempted to pull it out of his grip...

Zazikel did not flinch from the fireball, his grip only loosening a bit. He certainly felt it, but it would take more than a simple magical projectile to give an Archdemon pause. Purplish negative energy surged along his tendril, arcing over the amulet and into Deka's own limb, degrading the creature rapidly. He may be able to copy Zazikel's abilities, but he certainly wasn't immune to them...

Twin bolts ripped through the shade's form, Immanis channeling his thudnerous energies into his foe from a distance. Draco, in turn, unleashes a pillar of flame at the shade, intent on destroying it....
