Watching a Halo Reach video showing some hilarious fails and my favorite is where this revenant suddenly goes flying into the air while moving down a hill at normal speed, causing the driver to land in a barrier where he can't get out in time before dying.

no dinosaur was as fast as Compsognathus. biomechanics states that the smaller the animal, the faster it's potential top speed. Compy had both the body build, and the size, to outstrip the Carnotaurus. No, the Lost World game is not valid proof against that.
