It's especially infuriating to me since most of these animals aren't killed for good reasons at ALL. To kill something for just its horn seems.... wasteful to me!

In most cases entire species go extinct for one reason, profit.Be it hide, feather, bones or horn if it's worth a lot said animals are going to get hunted on a massive scale.Or in the case of some large predators they pose a threat to livestock or worse to humans themselves. In most cases the latter reason will end in that species extinction

I don't think so...maybe, but it doesnt say "bot" to me. Just maybe "misplaced topic".

I agree with HF,if it was a bot the least you'd see is a link of sorts. The person just seems a little lost and looking for answers to a question if you ask me

It is a bot.

We've been getting an influx of human-controlled spam accounts lately. They try to pass as normal (IE making badly-worded topics that appear 'normal') then after a while, when none of the staff is on, they spam the **** out've everything/add links to their signatures which keylog anyone who visits them.

It's always either bots or simply accounts that are created then untouched. There used to be a lot of active users on this site, and while I think if we had that many active members the rpgs and topics would start filling up fast I also believe that a few new active members would be a great thing to have

The problem is the killer of creativity: writer's block. You have no idea how many times I've made plans for something big, but can't figure out how to write it out.

You and Gira have improved...somewhat. It's good to see you two aren't being COMPLETELY torn apart by my little abomination :P

I'm pleased to see there's some actual activity. I hope it keeps going.

I'm out for the night. But tomorrow I'm hoping for a serious posting session in several places. if Dm gets on, someone tell him to get into FRPG and get moving. an FF is waiting on him.

Well, I've had some practice elsewhere to improve my aggressiveness. :P

I'm waiting on DM too, and suffering from writer's block for Super Hero RPG (for now....).

my advice for SHRPG: set up a checklist that works as follows:
1) decide on a long term goal for your character. what is his end motive. his final plan.
2) start considering his abilities. what he's good at.
3) look for a way to apply that towards reaching his motives.
4) ???
5) profit :P

Also, if your character lacks certain traits or abilities he may need to reach his goals, don't be afraid to write other players into your plan. my character Atlas, for example, isn't capable of acquiring test subjects himself without drawing heat from the authorities. So he hires criminals to do the job for him. there are certain fields of business and science he wants to gain access to, so he looks for people who have that access and find a way to put them in his debt, therefore gaining access to where and what he wants. It's like planning a camping trip :P

KP, your "Little" abomination is a pain! Sending the much larger Bagan flying with a single attack?

I feel tempted to just nuke the damn thing to Hell and back now...

well unlike most of the monsters in GEW, He hasn't got much in the way of ranged weaponry. he has two ranged weapons, and one of them depends on the other. his close range power is there to compensate. hence, warlord.

On a random note, nicely done both of you. You managed to survive the fight with relatively light injuries :P

Now the only question is will you survive the next attack? :P
