on a more serious note: elk runs from me, crosses a river, runs into a wolf and dies. wolf runs to me, faceplants into my sword by accident. I gave them a proper burial. they shall be sorely missed....they WERE tasty though. and the leather was used to make a snazzy new set of armour. so their death was not in vain =D

Except we weren't at sea. I dumped him in a river after...securing his valuables as...mementos... and paid my respects as he was whisked away in the current

I was fighting a pair of wolves on the top of a snowy mountain near the Graybeards place, when this frost troll decides to join in the action. Needless to say, both me and the wolves got WTF pwned. But just moments before the screen changed, I saw a dragon swoop down on the troll...

I just recently started, and have slaughtered dozens of bandits already with my trusty Nordic GS.

Oh, and for some odd reason, there were sentient skeletons in a mortuary's catacombs. THIS WAS IN THE CITY, TOO, MIND YOU. How, and why?

Seeing as were all talking about skyrim... I was just walking through the woods, around the massive waterfalls near the graybeards, and I shot at an elk. for some reason it flew straight up into the sky, and never came back down...? It looked for the body but never did find it, anyone else have this happen :p ?

I haven't even seen a dragon past Alduin's appearence at the start.

No,it's a quest where you have to infiltrate the Thalmor embassy to see what info they have on the dragons returning.Don't know what part Gira is frustrated by but it's quite an annoying quest

Speaking of annoyances I'm convinced nature is out to get me,while fighting a blood dragon a bear(I'd never actually encountered a live bear until that point)2 wolves one of which had rockjoint and a skeever all came from god knows where and attacked me.Did the blood dragon notice them? no did they notice me? yes

I've also gotten considerably more good at dragon slaying since my early days.My restoration is strong enough to negate an ordinary dragon's shout and I'm making good use of dragonrend

I hate Trolls, they regenerate which is fine if I can hit them with a flurry of arrows while sneaking but the Frost troll up to the greybeards is too damn tough. I could hack and slash at it with my axe all day and it would stay at the same point of health, three tries later using different stratigies I finally just ran away and eventually I escaped to the greybeards. I don't think they are impressed with that.

I tried that but he did a stumble animation but he diddn't really move enough, I couldn't force him down, eventually he beat my skull in.

Trolls are weak to fire. Keep that in mind.

Seeing as you hadn't reached the greybeards yet I assume you only knew one word of the shout.Once you learn all three words of the shout from the greybeards you can send many npcs(including trolls)flying

Yes G4E but at the lvl you'll probably be when you meet that particular troll you'll almost certainly hot have enough destruction skill to be able to bring the troll down

I just spam my fire attack while I'm fighting monsters I'm getting annoyed with. 2x the power = 2x the roast!

When fighting anything but dragons I usually just use fire breath

I gravity horsed up the side of the mountain. Never even saw the troll. I literally just walked in a straight line from White run to the greybeard's place.
