Discord stopped midstride after several paces, then said, "Oh, right, I don't know anything about this place. Any suggestions on where to get a meal, madame?"

The question made Byakuren stop what she was thinking about and just stand there, trying to think of an answer. She had only been here a day, and had no knowledge of any decent places to get food from...

It was then that she saw Trajan out of the corner of her eye, pointing toward a certain building, a two story building made of bricks and clay, but had a sign infront of it that said, "Lullaby of a Deserted Hell." The name at first caught Byakuren off guard, but seeing as Trajan was pointing toward it...

"I think I might know of a place to eat." She said, before this time dragging Discord toward the building, Trajan slipping back into the crowd in his peasant clothing...

"Lullaby of a Deserted Hell," Discord said, seemingly unperturbed that he was now the one being dragged along. "I like it. Very catchy!"

Draxon was soon back to its normal swing. People's hearts were still heavy from the battle that ravaged the capitol of Freyr-Lunge, yet people knew that to hold on to the past was pointless. They could not change what had occured, all the innocents killed and soldiers who had been slain in the carnage. All they were sure of was that they needed to do one thing and one thing only: destroy the army that dared attack the kingdom of Greshlynk's favored.

The Draconian stood in his cave finishing his meal of horse. Growling Welden looks back at what he had done recently. Why had they entered my domain? Welden asked himself, stretching his arms in the process. Walking to the entrance of the cave, the Draconian survey's the dark forest below even as the sun is high above the sky. "Magic..." Welden murmurs, knowing that the forest was protected by everlasting darkness, it did not bother Welden but magic did. He didn't trust what he could not comprehend himself, striding out of his cave Welden decides that his time spent in his birth place has long since past. Unfurling his wings once more, Welden's red eyes look past the forest and into the unknown. There is nothing left I desire here, I want battle and blood! I need not battle beasts when I can face armies! Welden thinks before lunging into the sky with a bone chilling roar. He soon follows the road leading off to distant lands where he may find what he seeks...

As the sun disappeared behind the pristine peaks of the Eastern arm of the Kirrahara mountain range, Septimus nuzzled his mother, the large white Dragoness smiling proudly at her son, knowing for once that his departure was in service of his Clan and kin, and that he did so gladly. "Be careful, Septimus. You're all I have left. I don't think I could stand to lose you too" she growled concernedly, Septimus chuckling light-heartedly as he responded, eyes shimmering knowingly "Mum I've been out there for months, and seen plenty. I'll be fine" he growled reassuringly, the female sighing as she nodded. "I know. But you can't blame me for wanting to see my son raise his own family, can you?" she growled, Septimus snorting as he shook his head. "Maybe after I've seen all Aster has to offer" he growled with a smirk. Tanwen shook her head amusedly, sighing. "I'm holding you to it. Remember that" she growled, Septimus nodding with a smirk. "I will" he growled, chuckling. his gaze shifted to the two large males beside her, the massive black form of Thurduunax standing between her and Cyndeyrn, the large white Dragon's shimmering scales almost seeming luminous in the darkness that was swiftly washing over them. Thurduunax meanwhile would have seemed a living shadow if not for the dull yellowish glow between his scales and the whitish gold glare of his many scars and runes. "I have armed you with skills that may well help you survive the long months you will spend out there, Septimus. However, when you learn to use them will depend purely on your own abilities. It is unfortunately not within my power to grant you that knowledge before the time comes that you discover it on your own. The knowledge and mastery of those skills is, however, locked away in your mind, to be released once you have discovered them. Do not fear what you do not know, nakhriin...Instead, embrace it as a tool with which to expand your knowledge. Temper your curiosity with caution, and you may well be on your way to becoming the wisest of the Hueilin" rumbled the Ancient, Septimus nodding as he considered what he was told carefully. "If the time comes that you require guidance...ask, and you shall be answered" added Thurduunax finally, Septimus bowing, though he was genuinely perplexed at the last part. as the young Dragon eyed his grandfather, Cyndeyrn smiled down at him, the glint of pride in his eyes unmistakable. "Make us proud, Septimus. Bring back your brethren and show these whelps how foolish their assumptions have been this whole time" growled the Maelgwyn Clan Leader. "Watch over mum for me, grandfather" growled the younger Dragon. You're the only family she has while I'm gone he added psychically, the large white Dragon nodding with a reassuring smile. "She'll be just fine. She's got a heart as strong and stubborn as the mountains themselves. You just worry about gathering the other Dragons and bringing them home. Leave the rest to us" rumbled Cyndeyrn with a chuckle, Septimus smiling as he eyed his mother, her worry for once fading beneath her pride and joy for her son. giving a final nod to the three, Septimus turned south, leaping into the air with a roar, his farewell to his friends here echoing off the peaks and across the valley as the Scholar disappeared past the peaks on the edge of the valley, heading for the edge of the mountain range, and beyond, into the vast expanses of Aster...

Andruil meanwhile, had just left a large building carved into the wall of the gargantuan artificial cavern that served as the Dwarves' fortress city. the walls were lined with hallways out of which archers peered, large crossbows in hand as they watched vigilantly for threats. the marketplace was bustling with all manner of creature, some familiar, others not. Being so far West meant Strakhtmarch was linked to the Coastal cities that traded with races from beyond Aster's borders, meaning many a strange race of creature would wander through the city doing trade in exchange for resources not available in their homelands. in other cases, Asterian residents many didn't know existed, races as alien as the lizardmen of Hexoatl, traded with loud, cheerful vendors, bartering and haggling for all sorts of goods, others still walking into shops carved into the walls, signs above the entrances marked with names in Dwarven and their common Asterian counterparts, and in many cases, accompanied by a symbol to ease identification for foreigners. Andruil headed back to the inn where he had left the others, having finished with the issue of transport. He had arranged for a Gryphonner to bring out a number of his better Gryphons for display, so that they could choose which ones to purchase. Valenhad had provided Andruil with the equivalent of a blank cheque, and he had every intention of making use of it. Walking into the inn, Andruil made his way up the stone steps towards the upper levels, which had vents leading to the surface, enchanted to pull in cool air from the icy peaks above, keeping the chambers well cooled for those unaccustomed to the heat of the volcanic depths of the Dwarven Capital. With Andruil's message to the Dwarven High King Urist Hammerhand delivered and acknowledged, his duty here was almost complete. All that remained was to commission the weapons for the Assassins; something he required Vix and Arsenic to do. Walking into the large stone bedroom, Andruil looked round. there were 3 sets of drawers, each with 2 large, deep-set iron drawers. to one side of the room, two bunk beds lay, each having two layers, making a total of four beds. his personal supplies, offloaded from Furax, were now laying on one of the two lower beds. glancing round at the others, he smiled "Settling in well?" he inquired...

Nitsunobue, meanwhile, had been bunked into a stable, as there was obviously no where large enough to house the gargantuan wyvern, nor for the dragons that the elves brought with them. The wyvern felt evermore nervous around the dwarves, for many of them gave him odd looks. He didn't blame them; his species probably hasn't been seen by a hominid in about 500 years. After all, the last he remembered of his ilk was when he escaped the mines in the wastelands and found of skeleton of his species half-buried in the ground, and that was several decades ago at the very least. Even with his discomfort, however, he realized and accepted his alien appearence, and simpyl abosrbed the majesty of the city from what he could see. His horns poked out from his comparatively tiny stall, as he locked his gaze with the gargantuan palace where he assumed the king rested....

The priests of Draxon studied the skies under Draco's orders, who oversaw their duties to him. They seemed suspicious as to why he cared about the moon's status, but nonetheless they followed his orders. After a few minutes, the lead priest came to a conclusion, taking in a deep breath, he removed his spectacles and lowered his telescope before turning to his king.

"Well?" Draco inquired. "What did you see?"

"The moon glows blood red, my leige," the priest said in reply. "It appears the eclipse is upon us."

"Indeed," Draco said, attempting to hide his satisfaction. "Thank you. You are all free to leave now."

The priests bowed to their lord, as the flames within the Temple of Greshlynk died, leaving Draco to stare at his god's statue, before he too left, intent on telling Zazikel of the news....

Tetto'eko sat on one of the lower beds out of convenience, and was about to respond, when he was interrupted by Mordecai, who was perched on his shoulder. "Other than the fact that we're UNDERGROUND, I'm fine..." he telepathically grumbled, ruffling his wings uncomfortably...

Zazikel was with the amulet the Shade had attempted to steal, studying it closely as a massive cloud of amorphous darkness, his shadowy tendrils coiling gingerly around it as if it were a piece of fragile artwork...

As Zazikel studied the Amulet of the Draks, Draco opened the door to Zazikel's chamber, noticing his slightly disturbing appearence and the intense focus he had on his beloved amulet. Torches lined the walls to keep the room relatively bright, as the sun had been down for a while now.

"May I have a moment of your time, Zazikel?," Draco suddenly inquired.

Bolthammer was a wreck. What the shapeshifter foretold had indeed come to pass: some...thing broke into the city like the lock-down meant nothing, barged its way into his throne room, and demanded he hand over the "changeling", whatever it was. Even Lucifron, his faithful sentinel protector, was inclined to leave the room once it entered. Perhaps that was what bothered him the most. By now it had gone, after telling Bolthammer to give up any notions of resistance toward...whatever it was doing. The Trade Prince assured the thing that he had no intentions of getting involved, and it left. Bolthammer was not one to be heroic, no matter what the stakes, but like any true entrepreneur, he could smell competition when it presented itself. Whatever this thing was, it was more powerful than him and his armies, that much was sure. And it was a fact that made him quite angry...

By now, Jiier could see a town in the distance. Without any knowledge of their destination, he could not be sure this was the place Desrium had in mind. Whatever the case, it seemed like a good place to start.

The wayward gryphon clawed and chomped at the side door of the butcher shop, attempting to dig her claws and beak into the tiny space between the door and its frame, but having very little success. She was starting to become wary as she heard a growing number of voices coming closer by the minute. The shops in this row were opening one by one, and she knew time was running out for her chance to steal a whole fresh cow's leg. The raven-hybrid repeatedly hacked her sharp ebony beak into the woodwork beside door handle, hoping to somehow dislodge the latch, or if she couldn't do that, splinter the door frame enough to render the locking bolt useless...

Flying high, slowly Welden travels across the land. His glowing red eyes searching the valley below for a hint of civilization, feeling the fatigue of travel set in Welden decides to land and rest his wings. Circling down to the ground dwarfing all who dwell in the sky, the Draconian lands with a soft "thud". Folding his wings, Welden begins gathering fire wood, grabbing logs instead of sticks. Welden had settled in a clearing surrounded by forest, dwelling within the small clearing were two boulders opposite each other. This is where Welden decided the fire shall be placed, putting the logs in position Welden looses flames from his open maw, catching the logs on fire quickly. Grinning, Welden seats himself in front of the fire, thinking of the days travel. He had traversed at least twenty miles from his cave, yet he had seen no sign of a town or village anywhere. He had never expected his home to be so far from any form of civilized culture, yet he new that his search was coming to an end soon. Blood is what I seek, yet I have no reason behind this feeling... Welden thinks, his thoughts full of worry. Why had he really slaughtered the caravan? It wasn't for food that much he was certain, nothing could escape his hunting eye. It couldn't have been a hatred for the human race, for as of recent he has only had a few interactions with the smaller race. Welden racked his mind for what seemed like hours to know real success in finding a solution. Looking at the center of the raging fire in front of him Welden wonders what has caused his recent blood lust...

"That is not Daaven," Desrium commented as he and his dragon companion neared the city which lacked the iconic wooden palisades of the valley settlement. Its geography was completely wrong as well, a mountain range in the distance with a cover of trees seeming to spread out from the rise in rock instead of the grassland surrounded by forests and mountains. Rather than the almost completely timber based Daaven, this city had an inner circle of fine stone architecture combined with metal constructs. The armored being did not know it, but this was an outlying Draxonian city, far from the capital hidden away in the mountains. "But we should warn this place nonetheless" Desrium added

"If you insist," Jiier replied, gliding gracefully downward, toward the outskirts of the town. Although they could seemingly fly directly inside, the hermit assumed the residents may not appreciate the intrusion. Their best odds were trying to enter like anything else would.

Having rested long enough Welden stood, staring off into nothingness. Unfolding his wings the Draconian flies into the air his red eyes focused. Gaining altitude, Welden starts to fly in the direction he had been flying before. Soon he distances himself from his make shift camp, searching the blurring landscape for civilization. Welden's thought still resided within his troubled mind. What posses me to continue this mindless slaughter? Welden thinks his eyes revealing his worry...

High up in the sky over Tristan as the evening sun drifted downward, the soudns of leathery wings and gnashing of teeth signaled the arrival of Reddeath's flock of Gandiors, come back early from their exploits... and anyone who could understand their animalistic tongue would know that things hadn't gone as Reddeath had hoped.

"That was downright pathetic, you blockheads." Reddeath snapped at her underlings. "messing around with Zeuglodons shouldn't be that hard."

"Well it wouldn't have been so bad had that Akantierus not showed up and ruined our fun." One of the males said. "He cut our trip short-"

" YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT?!" The female growled at him, ready to tear at him, when she noticed something. She tilted her head down toward the sight, which her underlings took note of, and in unison, the flock swooped down low and landed ontop of a high enough building to see what was going on...

The sight that had drawn their attention was the colosseum, which was now packed tightly with people from all across Germania. Every available seat was now taken as people had gathered here to witness an event that had been pushed around and delayed to near night... the execution of Dione, the one accused of being behind the murder of Jeetis, he rown father. The girl herself was chained on a tall wooden platform, unable to move, with two large, burly guards standing to each side of her. Among the main crowd were the shrewd salesman and Lamia, who could do nothing but watch the event as it was going to unfold. Up in the main viewing box was Trajan, several of the high ranking church officials, and Byakuren, who Trajan had given special permission to enter. Ontop of the box, and unbenownst to Trajan, was Guame and Djinn, but thsoe who saw them up there figured that Trajan already knew they were there, and Guame being a longtime friend of Trajan, thought nothing of it. Behind Trajan, the church officials, including one of the two Arch-Bishops taking authority of the situation, were discussing quietly among themselves, and gave the odd glance back at Trajan. The Execution itself had been delayed for a number of reasons, including concern that Discord, claiming to be the embodiment of chaos, would wreck havok on the execution, and the unsettling absence of the other Archbishop, Cromwell. But finally, it was about to begin, and though this event pained Trajan, he knew that th echurch officials would only be too happy to have this happen...

Down in the main arena, poisonous vapors drifted out of the door that led into the catacombs, and a snorting sound was heard, almost like that of a giant creature lying in wait behind the reinforced barrier...

Discord (having not really eaten any of the food he actually ordered earlier that day, and simply wanted to see the looks on everyone's faces) had followed Byakuren into the viewing box, quite confident that the guards would be too scared to try and stop him. He had, reluctantly, decided to stay in his relatively human form, if only so he could fit inside the box. After all, he wanted a good view of the show...

Zazikel did not tear his glowing gaze from the amulet as he spoke. "You may..." he hissed...

Like most small, Draxon towns, the residents were relatively quiet folk. Peddlers wandered the streets, selling their wears to those who were interested, and those who could not afford to pay for the peddler's goods (which was anyone who didn't live in one of the upper districts), the peasants were hard at work. None of them had noticed the dragon and his armored companion... yet, at least.

Draco gave a respectful bow before he spoke.

"It is the lunar eclipse," Draco said in a hasty manner. "If you so please, I can give you a map showing the location of Dhoulmagus' Writ of Sealing."

Jiier finally landed just outside the town itself, near a road leading from it. They would request permission to enter, bettering their chances of being viewed as civilized creatures. Jiier didn't bother to transform, not really sure how the rest of the world viewed dragons, figuring his robed appearance would be nonthreatening enough.

Upon Jiier's landing, Desrium started to pull on the hood of his robe, trying to pull it down farther to hide his eyes with its effects but to no avail. "Unfortunate" he thought when he stopped trying and instead bowed his head, staring down at Jiier's shoulders.
