Two large, lightly armored sentries stood outside the gate, armed with large pieks that they had crossed with their compatriot's pike. The two guards couldn't help but notice the large shape approaching the gate.

"What in Greshlynk's name is that?!" one guard said.

"I think it is a dragon!" the other replied.

"Well... what should we do?"

"If it wanted to attack us, it probably would have already done so," the other guard grumbled.

"Good point," the guard's partner replied.

Even if the dragon and that other odd shape were not enemies, they still were wary.... but could one blame them?

As Jiier neared, the dragon's pace was slowed, his head down slightly like Desrium's, giving a very neutral air around them both. The dragon stopped in front of the guards, his hood still facing the ground, but considering how large he was, it was likely they could see partially into it anyway. "We seek entry into the town, for we bring grave news," the dragon growled calmly, silently hoping Desrium would keep quiet until they got inside.

The guard on the right cocked his head, before the one on the left of the gate spoke.

"What kind of bad news, Child of Greshlynk? Does it involve the kingdom of Draxon? Or do you bring news from beyond?"

"Just open the gates, we don't want to anger him," the guard on the right growled.

"Alright, alright," the left guard grumbled before eh shouted, "Open the gates!"

Almost immediately, the wooden gates began to creak open, just enough for both the dragon and his humanoid partner to enter.

"Welcome to Grymhaven, gentlemen," the right guard said in a respectful manner. "Please, enjoy your stay."

"We are not men" Desrium thought, the only thing stopping him from saying it being Jiier's earlier lesson. He assumed the guardsman was speaking figuratively for whatever reason. Perhaps the man was unable to make out what he was with his head down in such a manner. Perhaps, the armored being mused, assuming everything that passed through this city's gates fell into the purview of human relation was custom...though an arrogant one at that.

"Thank you. Perhaps you will hear our message before we depart," Jiier responded courteously, bowing his head in respect. Moving into the town quickly but calmly, the dragon slowed his pace again as they ventured further inside. "How do you wish to proceed?" he hissed quietly to Desrium, feeling slightly uncomfortable in such a populated area.

Desrium remained silent for a moment, glancing up for only a few seconds at a time to observe the people in the city. "The guards call you a child of a Greshlynk. Clearly they do not know about your kind, but we can use this to spread the unicorn's message"

"I haven't a clue what a 'Greshlynk' is," Jiier growled simply in response. "And it certainly isn't my parent..."

"That does present a problem. From how the guards reacted to your appearance, we can safely assume a Greshlynk is not a dragon. They would have recognized what you were instantly if it were" Desrium explained, contemplating another approach to their problem. "Shall we find the human of most importance here and deliver our message to them?"

"That may be easier said than done. I may be a hermit, but I can't imagine two strangers wandering in and asking for the town's leadership would be very normal," Jiier responded, frowning.

"Yes, but two strangers following the words of a unicorn is an oddity in itself. We shall go, for time is of the essence" replied the armored being who then looked up again, scanning the groups of people for any possible figures of interests... guardsmen, the well endowed and so on...

"If you know which one of these humans is the leader, then by all means," Jiier growled, stopping momentarily to gesture with a clawed hand.

"They look like the average and below average inhabitants of this city; none of them important enough to warrant action" Desrium commented offhandedly after taking another look at the peasants. "No, I do not believe our objective could be found here. From above, I saw a distinct district of houses in the inner city. I infer the prominent live there" Desrium suggested.

"If you say so..." Jiier growled, finding the whole situation confusing and a little pointless. The dragon made his way through the streets, trying to find whatever Desrium called the inner city.

Desrium kept track of the dragon's heading, the stone structures that were deeper in the city gradually coming into view in between the wooden constructs and shacks as he went. The higher quality in the architecture reflected the distribution of wealth in Grymhaven. It was the natural location for a gathering hall of some sort.

Zazikel's gaze finally turned to stare at Draco. "Give it to me," he hissed, extending a tendril...

Welden's search was finally paying off, a village was only a mile off from where he was flying. Grinning the Draconian circles down to the road, landing, Welden folds his wings and begins walking the rest of the distance. Mentally preparing himself for the task at hand, he had convinced himself to leave the inhabitants alone. He would alone attack if he were threatened, continuing on the village's size is apparent. All of the buildings were large and made of hay and large pieces of lumber. Soon Welden can see that the village even has a large wooden wall surrounding the buildings and there inhabitants. Welden approaches the gate leading into the town it stands barely taller than himself, but he could still pass through it without ducking. With a tired growl, Welden raises one of his massive fists to the gate and knocks. The sound echos throughout the village, soon annoyed yelling and grumbles can be heard from the village. The gate opens slightly and out steps a small man, he quickly wishes he hadn't exited the village. A quick scream escapes his lips as the man trys to open the gate. Welden chuckles at this but does not wish to scare the human anymore than he should.
"Excuse me? May you quite your tongue? I have not come to eat you." Welden says calmly.
"How do I know I can trust you?" The man squeaks, obviously still frightened.
"If I had wished to kill you, I would have done it already." Welden says slightly annoyed at the miss trust. The man looks at Welden searching his scaly face for any hint of lies or malice, yet he cannot find it.
"Well then alright. What brings you to HrothenGar?" The man asks more confidently.
"I am here to rest and explore I have traversed a long way, there are many things I wish to learn." Welden smiles honestly. The man stares at him for a long moment before opening the gate, Welden walks through the gate to be confronted by what seemed to be the whole village! Most of the faces he could distinguish noted fear and awe at the green scaled Draconian before them. Welden smiled never having seen so many people in one place, walking forward Welden wishes to stay as long as possible to learn what he can from the Nordic village...

Contrary to Discord's beliefs, the guards up there in the viewing box weren't that afraid of him. One of them turned to the chimera and said, "You do anything fishy, and you'll be in for a world of hurt. Just look around and see." Here, the guard pointed out around the rim of the collusseum, where 8 Dragons were perched on the rim, their riders mounted on them. Spreaded thruought the crowd were dozons of guards, each with their standard weaponry and a crossbow at the ready. Byakuren herself simply glanced at Discord, then back out into the arena. If needed to, she wouldn't hesitate to put Discord in his place...

Down in the arena, Dione sighed, knowing that this was the end for her. There was nothing she could do about it. This was where her end was to be...

But hovering above her head, was the same bird that had meet with Akuro. The little shrike looked down at her, then began to utter, in a silent tongue that only Dione could understand. The girl looked up, and saw the bird, and understood what it was saying, but to the guards beside her, it was only bird chirps, and nothing more.

"Nunc fluit per venas magicam meam et cognoscite quanta magi antique, si furor in futurum" the bird chirped in it's tongue, and for a brief moment, Dione felt a strange sensation flow through her head. It felt like a soothing coldness flowed through her, then faded. But before she could respond, the blare of instruments signaled the start of the execution, and the bird flew away, off to the north, it's agenda complete...

The black and silver Hueilin soared over the plains of Northern Aster, heading South, his altitude such that most living creatures were but specks to him, moving back and forth across the land below. Without Thurduunax to slow him down, Septimus was able to push his newly matured body to it's limits, the Dragon streaking across the sky at a pace he never thought he could attain, now more on par with the older Dragons among the Hueilin. Far below, the land was clustered with villages, spread moderately far apart, some of them simple wooden villages ringed with sharpened log-walls, some of the other, larger villages having well constructed stone and lumber walls circling a number of small buildings and the larger hold that was the resident ruler's home, others still forming large, impressive towns with stone walls, looking for all intents and purposes like fortresses, fortified castles with regular patrols of guards across the walls and a steady stream of carriages flowing in and out of their large, fortified gates, hinting to the area being a successful region for commerce. The Dragon smiled as he considered the possibilities. With his worries of home laid to rest, he could now go on to enjoy life again....all the while working to fulfil his mission of finding and bringing back the exiles...

Discord sat back, waving his hand dismissively at the guard. "I wouldn't worry if I were you. Besides, the last dragon that crossed me got possessed by an Archdemon, so I wouldn't trust those little lizards to hold up to your expectations. Now please, I'm here to watch a show..." He leaned towards Byakuren, stage-whispering, "Hecklers. So annoying..."

Jiier continued on at a steady pace, head sweeping slowly from side to side, eyes peeled for any unwanted attention. He would leave the true investigating up to Desrium, as he figured the armored being would know more about it than himself.
