As several more Saurus emerged from the undergrowth, brandishing their weapons threateningly, there was movement behind Icil as well. Several blurred shapes moved towards the dead body of the Cockatrice: Chameleon Skinks. The only reason they were visible at all was the fact that they were moving. Even so, it was difficult to pick them out at all. One of them moved towards Icil, seemingly appearing out of thin air as it revealed itself. The Skink's two independently moving eyes focused on the succubus briefly, before it hissed, "Leave this place. Now."

[Murloc Tyrannus]

The succubus fluttered her wings, not ascending. She looked up at the lizard-like humanoid, amazed by the reptile's anatomical features; it was so... advanced. She looked at the dead Cockatrice, and then back at at the Skink.

"May I ask you a question, first? All you need to do is answer it, and I'll leave. This place is extremely dangerous; far too dangerous for me. Is that... okay with you?"

"We do not normally answer the questions of Demons, but these are strange times," the Skink hissed. "Ask your question, Demon."

"How do you feel about dragonback?" Vix asked curiously. Zar gave a soft snort but didn't protest.

[Murloc Tyrannus]

"Why did you save me from the Cockatrice? I mean, you probably didn't intend to, but I could have died there..." Icil questioned as she tilted her head at the Lizardmen around the dead bird...

"We were hunting," the Chameleon Skink chittered sharply. "You were an excellent distraction."

" I don't know dragons back sounds fine to me " he said as he looked over at zar and smirked . He was a bit nerves about flying but knew it would be fast and also something new . he looked up the sky and then back at his sword " life is crazy still I never knew I would meet any of you " he said with a smirk.

Icil blushed slightly in embarrassment at the sarcastic comment. He was right, she was pretty distracting to the beast.

"Th-thank you, sir. Goodbye." she said as she walked the other direction, towards where Rattlebones had been asked to wait. The succubus did not want to be here again. It was much too dangerous, and everything wanted to kill her for some reason...

She wrote: The "mysterious someone" happened to be what I think was a hunting party of Lizardmen. They said I was "distracting" to the Cockatrice when I asked one why he and his group happened to save me. They are interesting fellows. I wish I wasn't part succubus. I really don't. Then I wouldn't be in so much trouble around these places.

"Funny how a stranger can turn out being the one you owe your life to," Vix murmured, giving a faint, fond smile as she glanced at Andruil. She hadn't forgotten that he was the reason Arsenic had managed to escape Draxon.

Two of the Chameleon Skinks made sure to shadow Icil out of the immediate area, while the rest went to work helping the Saurus move the Cokatrice's corpse back to the rest of the Lizardmen...

Soon, the eagle touched its talons down on the roof of a nearby structure, eyes looking about for the Emperor of this place. He couldn't be too hard to find... probab ly wore fancy robes and such. Suddenly, the bird's eyes fell upon a good-sized palace. Perhaps he should start by looking in there. If the monster could have smiled, he would have. Dhoulmagus soon changed his shape from an eagle into that of a cat, quickly hopping off of the roof and silently making his way towards the castle...

Nitsunobue soon caught an odd scent. It smelled of... reptilians... and something else? He didn't recognize this smell, but it was pungent. It didn't smell natural at all. The horned creature began to walk in the direction of the strong smell, curious as to what it could possibly be...

Almost as soon as Desrium readied himself, Jiier's fist collided with his chest, pushing him back a few inches before the limb was retracted. Jiier's stance, although seemingly the same in appearance to what he had done before, seemed a lot more firm and steady. "Remember that your enemy won't give you fair warning before they attack," he commented, staring hard at the Blood Omen.

Desrium put a foot down behind him, using it as a brace and pivot point. His eternal stare bore into the maned ape, blank red eyes hiding his calculating mind as the Blood Omen formulated his strategy to adapt to his swift opponent. He took a more reactive stance towards the fight, his pose allowing him to turn his bulk around quickly should Jiier attempt to weave around him and allowed him to brace against his powerful punches. He was also primed to counter another blow, but reserved enough not to break his stance from a fake. His mind, calmed by meditation, allowed him to approach the task with focus and clarity...

Jiier immediately threw a heavy left hook at the Blood Omen's head, sparing little time between his actions.

The simian's fist was cupped in Desrium's gauntlet with an resounding thunk through the chamber. In an instant the Blood Omen wrenched his tutor towards him, slamming his free hand against the simian's midsection and knocking him off his feet, flinging Jiier over his back and letting him soar...

Jiier twisted mid-air so that his feet would land against the nearby wall, springing off the wall a split second later. Once again re-positioning himself mid-air, the simian landed feet-first against Desrium's back, throwing the Blood Omen to the ground with a resonating crash, Jiier skating across the floor a few feet on top of Desrium.

Using momentum to his advantage, Desrium dug the tips of his sabatons into the floor and pushed up with his arms, forcing himself upright and bucking Jiier off of his back, stamping his leading foot down to stop his forward movement.

Jiier, moving with the momentum, flipped forward and landed in a crouch some feet away, standing slowly. "Not bad. You understood quickly that I was too fast, so you began reacting to my attacks rather than making your own. Impressive," he commented with a smile, crossing his arms.

"You are a great teacher" Desrium replied. "One would not expect that trait from a hermit" he added as he reestablished his formation, one leg behind him as a brace, arms raised defensively.

Suddenly, Desrium was raised several feet off the ground, while Jiier had a considerably surprised look at his face. "What do you think you're doing?" Radamand's commanding voice growled from behind Desrium, the giant hoisting the Blood Omen up with only one powerful limb.
