Icil had a feeling that she was being followed. She ignored her imagination now, as this had gotten her in trouble with the Cockatrice. After all, there might not be any Lizardmen to save her this time. She walked back to Rattlebones, who was asleep at this point as he awaited his master...

Radamand was already on his way out of the room when Jiier shrugged in response, following the giant toward the entrance to the temple shortly after.

Icil could only hope that the giant would not try to end her life like he said he would. She was trying to come up with things to say to the guardian, just in case he were to come back. Rattlebones was snoring at this point, which sounded like two sticks being hit together as his jaws clamped open and shut. The glow in his eye sockets was not present, signalling that his eyes were closed. There was a dim midnight blue coming from the inside of the skull, but it was almost invisible unless one were to actually look in the skull. Icil walked towards the sleeping creature, planning to awake it peacefully...

Desrium rested the spear on a robed shoulder as he walked after the two, eager to build his proficiency with the double pronged weapon.

As Septimus walked through the entrance, he caught sight of Jiier and Radamand, Desrium following behind them. "Something the matter?" he asked curiously. He had heard the echoes of combat earlier from within, but judging by the general quiet aside from that, he had guessed it was not a threat, and most likely Desrium practicing against something...but now that he saw all three leaving the temple, he had grown suspicious. Had he overlooked something in his conversation with his father?

"No, just complicated," Jiier responded as he and Radamand passed by the dragon, making their way outside. Radamand glared at Arashi as he did so, before moving off into the courtyard proper. Jiier and Desrium needed to train, but the maned simian wasn't sure why Radamand followed them outside.

"There is no time to waste explaining, friend" Desrium said as he passed the scholar. He walked through the corridor and stepped out into the light of the outside, the sky still overcast. He continued after Jiier, making his way across the stone platforms cast in an almost silver glow

Septimus raised a brow curiously, following closely, intrigued by the situation and somewhat confused at the lack of an explanation. What was so urgent that no explanation could be given? The Dragon was eager to find out. Arashi, meanwhile, was aware of Radamand's glare, but paid him no mind. He was a useful ally in this war. Even Radamand couldn't deny that. If he would truly turn away his help, Arashi would simply depart Aster and leave it to its fate. Whatever negative consequences that action would bring about would be on the giant's head, not his own...

Jiier stopped a few yards out in the courtyard, keeping a considerable distance from the temple for obvious reasons. His staff remained in his grasp, waiting for Desrium to approach.

Stopping roughly four yards away from his teacher, Desrium readied his spear, mimicking Jiier's positioning of its grip, its two blades pointing straight ahead of the Blood Omen...

Elias looked down at zar and smirked " soo i guess ill be riding you dragon ? " he said with a light hearted smile. His bod was a bit stiff but nerves never affected him until now . He looked at zar again and swallowed the lump . " don't kill me alright " he said as he made sure his sword was on him tight and would go lose .

'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no

Septimus had been following closely until he saw Jiier and Desrium giving eachother room and lifting their weapons; one of which was new to his eyes. a spear with dual blades on the tip. Interesting. Deciding it best not to get too close, the Dragon gave the two some room, before sitting on his haunches, watching interestedly to see what would happen next...

Zar outright laughed at that, as Vix bit her lip to control her own laughter and moved to join Andruil. She still wasn't looking forward to being in the air, but Elias had taken her mind off of that for the time being. The red dragon knelt and extended one foreleg as he had seen Aviva do, to give the human easier access to his back. "Lean forward and stay as low as you can," Zar instructed with a final chuckle. "And try not to fall off; I'm afraid having to ride in these," - he flexed his long, eagle-like claws - "wouldn't be nearly as comfortable."

Elias got onto the dragon and got low " alright i dont want to travel in the claws so i.im just gonna do as you say " he said a bit of shakiness in his voice . He hugged the dragons neck his body shaking a bit like leaves in the wind on a cool spring day the point where the snow is gone but the heat isn't back yet . He looked over at the two and smiled nervelessly.

Andruil reached out a hand, helping Vix on, before giving Thalion a sharp kick in the ribs, the hippogriff screeching as he took to the air, Shiryaz leaping from his perch in the trees ahead of the large beast, the griffin hawk accelerating upwards, though Andruil was careful not to be so harsh with Thalion, so as not to discomfort Vix...

Myrn ruffled her wings once more, shifting her pack's straps slightly to be more comfortable around her wing joints before breaking into a short run and leaping into the air. Sulrana let out a shrill scree as she watched the others take off, pawing the ground impatiently as she waited for permission to join them...

Icil petted Rattlebones's skull, awaking the skeletal wyvern with her touch. The creature arose from its curl and grunted to Icil in happiness, letting her know that he was glad that she was alive and well. The succubus was very tired, she was about to just fall down and take a na-

Icil's legs gave out, letting the succubus collapse to the ground and fall into a deep slumber.

Rattlebones nudged Icil, soon afterwards picking her up lightly in his jaws and putting her delicately on his back, fully aware that she was sleeping...

"You must treat the weapon like an extension of yourself. You must understand its reach, and how heavy it is in your hands. These things take continual practice and experience to master," Jiier explained, spinning his own staff rapidly between his two hands with a great degree of skill.

Rattlebones didn't feel like leaving at the moment. The skeletal creature gently put his master down into a small cluster of ferns.. The undead beast decided to investigate the area himself as he glided quietly towards the temple, perching himself on the highest part he could find.

Icil, meanwhile, was in a seemingly comatose sleep. Her wings curled around her as she rolled over to get a good position to lie down in...

Desrium then looked to his spear, eying the bladed ends before running his sights along its ever-shifting shaft. He swung and jabbed the spear experimentally, trying to envision where each point would be with each movement, ensuring precise strikes...
