Septimus eyed the Dragon confusedly, surprised at the fury in the Dragon's expression. He hadn't seen Jiier face to face in this state before, and the sight was somewhat unnerving, especially in his current form, where the Dragon seemed considerably larger. He was certain he could evade any outburst the Dragon made however, and that gave him the reassurance needed to calm himself, though it was obvious from the glow in his eyes and the runes lining his arms that he was ready to defend himself if need be. Arashi watched from a distance, intrigued by the scene, though the intrigue gave way to surprise as he realised the dark elf standing beside the armoured being below was actually Septimus, only the energy he sensed from him giving him any indication they were one and the same...

Jiier continued to heave in silence, his pupils disappearing as the energy around him began to build, numerous bolts of golden energy striking the ground around him, throwing up dust and debris. The maned dragon howled into the air once more, his body growing blindingly bright before it dispersed altogether, Jiier returning to his normal color. He stumbled as he returned to his normal form, as if injured. Even standing seemed to be difficult for the dragon, who clenched his teeth with the effort to stay on his feet.

Radamand turned back to the landscape beyond as Jiier returned to normal, saying nothing.

"I do not expect these grounds to survive our presence here" Desrium commented flatly.

"Something happened?" inquired Septimus, speaking for the first time since his transformation, noting how smooth his voice seemed, lacking the rumbling overtone that tinted his voice in Dragon form, sounding much like he did when speaking psychically...

"...N-no..." Jiier stated, breathing deeply. "As I...said...need practice..." he continued, coughing. "I'm just...going to..." he began, falling onto his side with a loud thud, staring off into space blankly as he caught his breath, ignorant of the rain now soaking his body.

"He did not find a canyon" Desrium said in response to the display before him. He moved towards the maned dragon, standing to the side he now laid on. He drove his spear into the stone, the blades stabbing through the stone with ease, and then pushed against Jiier's back with both hands, using all of the strength he could muster in an attempt to get him upright.

"...I see" said Septimus with a raised brow, still somewhat bewildered by the incident, Desrium's explanation doing little to help. "Are you sure he even wants to be moved, Desrium? After the heat he was generating in that state he was in earlier, you'd think he'd want to cool down" said the dark elf. He knew that there were times where he himself preferred the cool of the rain after an exertion. He could not speak for Jiier however...

"Yeah...I'm...fine here..." Jiier growled weakly, not putting up much of a fight, however.

"You are right" Desrium replied, ceasing his efforts and pulling his spear free of the stone floor. "I apologize. You are not a whelp" he said to the maned shapeshifter

Trajan thought hard. Beside him, Byakuren Guame were also waiting for his order. Should he stay here and let Guame and Djinn lead Trajan's forces, or would the Emperor himself go and lead them? On one hand, it made more sense for the leader to go out and lead his army. Guame and Djinn, along with Byakuren, could easilly protect the city if need be. However, Trajan knew he wasn't an experienced commander. Both Guame and Djinn, however, had much more experience with dealing with enemies than he did, and were comftorable with leading the Germanian army. That, and the fact he didn't want to get stabbed from behind by an unknown enemy drove him to his decision.

"I will stay here at Tristan with Dione and Byakuren. Guame and Djinn will head out with my army to meet up with Commander Alexander. Is that alright?"

Off at Gorgoroth, Mara had decided that, while the Orcs definitely were in the mood to fight, they would need to get ready first. For the past few hours, she had been explaining to them her plan, how they were going to get into Tristan, and what they would be targeting, as well as qwelling any possible objections. The half-demon stood smirking. "Alright, any questions about what you orcs have to do, or are you all ready to go pillage and plunder?" She asked, her voice boomnig with authority...

"Very well. I would suggest, however, that you keep a portion of your forces to defend Tristan. There would be little point in fighting to save your people at one location, when they could be attacked from a different direction" said Paracelsus calmly. While he and Atticus were powerful mages and capable of holding off a sizeable force on their own, they wouldn't be able to hold off an army without assistance. Additionally, their mission was to defend Trajan specifically.

Septimus turned back towards the temple, Ascending the steps and walking towards one of the pillars, before sitting down against it, looking out at the forest beyond. He worried about the mountain range in the distance. To his knowledge, it encircled the shrine from all directions. While that was ideal to hide it from travellers, it also meant that it would be difficult for allies to reach here. If the Traitor god were to arrive at this moment, there would be no way to fight him off. Even worse, if he were to attack them en-route, they would have no hope of fighting him off effectively...

The orcs didn't answer, simply chanting about their plans of conquest and blood shed. It had been too long since they had killed a human!

Nitsunobue continued his journey, approaching where the light had been. Curiosity was filling his mind, wondering what had occured earlier. There was a strong scent about the area, but it smelled less of evil and more of power... and numbers...

"Excellent," Draco replied, is curiosity sated for the moment. "Will you be ready for the ceremony by morning tomorrow then, Zazikel?"

The dream eater soon began to descend down towards the clearing, landing in the center of a strange cluster of stones. The being let out a screech, before he returned to his tentacled form.

"Awaken, children of the night!" Dhoulmagus bellowed. "Your master calls for you!"

A low groan could be heard from the trees, signallnig the awakenuing of something...

"I have one," a voice rang out over the assembled orcs. An old robed woman stood far from the raving crowd, on one of the perimeter walls of the city, her face hidden by a hood. "Why do you waste time with petty power grabs while all that you hold dear is threatened with destruction?" the woman asked, her voice once again carrying to most of the assembled crowd.

"Thank...you..." Jiier panted, enjoying the cooling downpour. After a few silent moments, he looked up toward Septimus, a weak grin appearing on his reptilian features. "Congratulations...on the progress...Septimus."

Sulrana stayed in formation as she obeyed Tetto'eko's signals, coming in for a loping landing just behind Andruil and Thalion and slowing to a stop next to them, her ears twitching and swiveling at the distant rumble. For some reason, be it the approaching storm or otherwise, the kestrel mix seemed to have lost some of her earlier exuberance, standing in watchful, uncharacteristic silence. Moments later, Myrn trotted to a halt close by, turning away from the others slightly as she arched her neck sharply, poking at the chestpiece of her harness with her beak tip, looking as though something in that spot was irritating her...

"Busy is good," Vix replied. "There's no time to waste." She was looking around for her friends, spotting Rowan gently coaching some young elves in archery, but unable to locate Arsenic for the moment. Zar shot past overhead, stirring the woman's hair, coming to a safe landing a short distance beyond the village in the big field. As the red dragon lowered his body to allow Elias to climb off, he was looking around hopefully, no doubt looking for Aviva.

Trajan nodded. "That will be done. 1/5th of our army will stay here to help protect the city. The rest will head off with Guame and Djinn." He announced.

Mara smirked as she heard the old woman. "Well well, who do we have here?" She asked, moving through the assembled orcs and toward the shapeshifter. "Who are you, and what is your purpose here at Gorgoroth?" She demanded, the snake-headed staff in her hands glowing bright with heat...

Off in the capital of Draxon, Akuro was lurking around the city, having taken over a new body... that of a small bird. The soldier he had taken over was off in some abandoned corner, dead. The Kitsune in bird form looked around, curious as to what he would find...

The orcs began to let out bestial growls, readying themselves for battle, looking upon the woman's form with anger. But much to their surprise, heavy footsteps could be heard, as a large, armored being approached the assembly. A gutteral snarl escaped the titan's maw, his heavy black iron blade clutched in his hand. He soon came to a stop, using his blade like a giant, weaponized cane.

"What is this?" Burzum growled, somewhat amused by Mara's eagerness to fight, but also angered by her disobeying his command...

Akuro did not see much of interest, save for some peasants gossiping, upper classmen shoppnig for wears where the peddlers and shopkeeps gathered, and guards doing their usual runs...

Elias stepped off and smiled . " thank you for the ride " he said with a relaxed and laid back smirk as he looked around seeing the village is walking distance away . "well zar looks like i start my new life here " he said as he began walking to the village to meet up with the others , checking to make sure is sword was on tight and wouldn't go anywhere and then the small broken down dagger on the inside of his shirt was still there . His body showed he was a bit nerves and felt a little odd being in a new land for a change . He walked up to the other two and smiled before speaking his voice a bit shaky . " thank you for having me come with you two into this place . " he gave them both a small bow and then smirked a bit as he looked up to the sky then sighed a sigh of content as he turned back to them .

" Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around,
when I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
But I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again " - avenged sevenfold dear god

"A messenger," the old woman stated simply. "One that brings tidings of doom. Surely, you have seen the shadows that spread across this land. And something tells me...you've also seen the source."

"How did this happen to you?" Desrium asked, the new form of his scholarly friend barely registering to him. He was told of the Hueilin's desire to learn how to manipulate his body, and the dragon had succeeded. He found Jiier's condition to be more of a priority however. Even though he could not convey it properly, he was worried about his friend and mentor...
