"Eredar" echoed Septimus thoughtfully. It would do. It made defeating the foe somewhat less of a colossal task now that he had a name to attach to him. the enemy was no longer a concept or idea in Septimus's mind. It was now an entity, named and known. Perhaps, in that knowledge, he could now find faith in their ability to succeed. "How was he defeated last time?" he asked. Radamand had told him and his comrades that Eredar had been defeated previously, but the specifics had not been mentioned...

"We are both children of magic," Tzeentch started, raising one of her hands. The pale flesh suddenly disappeared as the true nature of her being was revealed: a twisting, squirming pile of energy in the shape of a hand, held together by an ethereal membrane. "I am not just an elemental, but one of the magic variety. Born of magic, comprised of mana." Tzeentch's hand resumed its normal, wrinkled texture in an instant. "You are not very different. There is more to you than mana given form, however. I can sense that."

"As I said," Radamand began, folding his arms. "The Gods stripped Eredar of his power and locked him away deep within the ground. The exact nature of their actions is not known. As gods, their conflict was beyond what mortal eyes could comprehend."

"There is a reason I am known as the Blood Omen to a few. It is irrelevant at this time" Desrium replied, lowering his sights. His 'birth' was a violent event, a reminder of the brutality he was capable of. It was a perplexing thing to think about...if he hadn't done what he did, his essence would have ceased to exist. However, when he thought of the actions he did afterwards, would his death have been the better alternative?

Septimus nodded as Radamand explained. Somehow he had a feeling that would be the answer. turning, he began to make his way for the door, before a thought occurred to him. "Forgive me for persisting with my tiresome questions, but I must ask one more thing of you. Do you know much about this temple and its surroundings?" he inquired...

Cyris shot at the wyvern, pulling out her corrupted hunting dagger and attaching it to the bow. She jumped onto a tree and shot rapidly at the creature. For being corrupted she was very agile, hopping from tree to tree like a little rodent. The elf stood on a branch and glared down at the wyvern, aiming carefully for its head...

"It is your parasitic nature that drives wildlife to aggression, and your appearance that makes more intelligent creatures wary," Tzeentch responded, apparently quite knowledgeable on the subject. "Perhaps, once your nature is under control, these will change."

"There is no need to apologize. I am here to assist in any way I can, whether by the force of my mace or the extent of my wisdom," Radamand stated, looking toward the window that loomed over them both. "I know of the temple's origins and what it represents. I know that its caretakers died out eons ago." The giant paused. "...And I know that it acts as a graveyard for those whose lives were taken without purpose, the last time the Traitor was free."

"...And they are aware of our presence" stated Septimus as he eyed the giant. His explanation confirmed his suspicions. "My friends and I have been sensing some unseen presence, and at times, have seen things for a moment, only for them to disappear almost instantly. At first I thought it was stress getting to us. But your explanation proves otherwise. The fallen know of our presence here" said the Scholar, partly in thought, partly explaining his concern...

The crossbow bolt streaked over the Wyvern's head, the suddenness of the attack such that Cyris couldn't line up the shot, the Wyvern hitting the ground with a skid, kicking up dust and debris right where the elf had been a split second before. As it landed, the beast skidded around to face the girl, snarling viciously as it leapt sideways, evading the dagger entirely as it dissipated into a cloud of what looked like smoke, only to materialise mid-dive to the girl's left, descending at an angle, as if it had been in flight, the monstrosity already mere inches from its intended victim...

"Lessons would take time. And we don't have that time to spare," Tzeentch replied, though she did not elaborate.

Radamand nodded. "It is unwise to leave the safety of the shrine alone. Our gathered allies in the forest below should not be threatened so long as they stay within the confines of their camps."

Cyris had been hit by the creature, being launched off of the branch and sent tumbling violently onto the ground. She stopped in a crouched position, wiping the blood from the side of her mouth. If she needed to get a good shot, she would have to make it sluggish first. The elf made sure to avoid being stomped on by the landing reptile, evading its foot claws carefully. She plucked her dagger off of the crossbow and flipped it ornately in her hand, ready to stab any part of the monster that came close...

"I will keep that in mind, Radamand. Thank you for your patience with me" said Septimus as he turned around, continuing his path down the corridor. He would need to learn how to use this form for more than simple concealment. Perhaps Desrium would be willing to help...

The Wyvern snarled as it landed, looking up at the Elf as she lifted the dagger up, the only thing keeping it from its prey. a gurgling growl came from the beast, bursts of hissing being heard as viscous strands of liquid dripped from its mouth, burning the ground beneath it as a jet of what looked like saliva was aimed directly at the elf...

Elias sat under a tree as he applied new bandages to his body examining his wounds like they were fresh again with a small curiosity as wrapped the bandages over the wound . He took a drink of water and sighed a soft content sigh as he began looking to the east once more remembering his past and looking forward to his future . His mind shifted to the battle looming overhead as his gaze shifted to his sword . " am i ready to fight " he said softly as his hand traced out the wound on his side that wasn't healed yet . " if this opens up i could be useless and be nothing more then bait" he said again before shaking his head and taking another drink of water from the small leather container . a thought ran threw his mind again as looked up to the sky as a small smile came accost his face as he faced a realistic fate " even if i die on the battle field i guess that will be my price for freedom " he said to himself with a smirk as he stood up and went to go find the others still a bit weak in body but not in will .
" Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
to hold her when I'm not around,
when I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
But I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again " - avenged sevenfold dear god

Nitsunobue listened in on the others from a distance, gathering what he could from their conversations. The Traitor god, and something about tha armored homonid's parasitic nature. He assaumed the god was their enemy, with the Archdemon simply acting as his underling. Interesting. Those vibrations he felt must have also been the forces gathering far down in the forest.

Perhaps they were not as doomed as Nitsunobue originally assumed... but the battles ahead would not be pretty, that was a for sure.

Dhoulmagus' tendrils glew with eldritch magics, the tentacled menace showing the shadowreavers what they could get.

"If you join me, the Archdemon and his master will reward you greatly. We are one with this realm; if we are slain, our essence will return to wence it came. If their will is fulfilled, you will be able to live in a realm without fear of death, and a realm where you shadow beings will reign supreme.... join me, and we can rule this world, as we did in the beginning!"

The shadowreavers were mesmerized by Dhoulmagus' promise of grandeur and power. This Archdemon and his master were definitely beings that they would get under for power. The evil beings hissed in agreement, before speaking.

"You have our allegience, Dhoulmagus," The emotion eaters replied.

Dhoulmagus chuckled. "I'm glad we are on the same page."

The magical anomoly soon took the form of an eagle, flying up, before he spoke one last time.

"Gather on the edge of the Great Forest! Wait at the closest corner near Draxon! There, my master shall call out to you when the time comes!"

With that Dhoulmagus flew off, before the Shadowreavers travelled, like the darkness made by the canopies, heading towards Draxon...

Radamand watched as Septimus left, before returning to his place in front of the idol.

"As beings of energy, we are not limited as organics are," came Tzeentch's voice, but it did not come from the old woman herself. Instead, it echoed in Desrium's very mind, though she was not speaking directly into it, due to Desrium's own mental barriers. Instead, it was a connection formed between two similar entities: beings of mana and energy. "There are ways beyond those you may understand."

Jiier had since turned away as Tzeentch and Desrium communed, after the former stopped looking like she'd attack the latter. The maned dragon was now standing where Radamand had spent most of his time, staring out into the forest, with the darkness looming out over the horizon.

Desrium's metal form was as inanimate as stone, the experience taking him by surprise, but it was not exactly new. In fact, it was similar to his talks with the previous Lance wielder. Suddenly, his armored body was not just his alone, but instead shared with his fellow incorporeal being in a nonphysical embrace between what would be predator and prey.

Cyris tried her best to evade the acidic substance, rolling to the right of the wyvern and giving it a swift jab to its flank, finishing with a slice. Cyris thought to herself; if she could somehow wound its leg enough for it to fall, then maybe she could get some accurate shots...

She focused on the movements of the beast, along with the spot of the injury. She needed to attack that area more...

Mara now sat upon her new throne, watching all that went around her. As she had promised, she was going out of her way to make all at Gorgoroth happy with their desires, but even still, she needed to keep a single eye out for Sharavuras. After what she had done to Burzum, the half-demon was starting to become paranoid with the idea that either Sharavuras or the Stalkers would try to kill her to avenge Burzum's death. She shuffled uncomftorably in the oversized throne, just waiting for Akuro to return...

A few miles out, the Kitsune was indeed on his way back to Gorgoroth. After trying to confirm what Mara had told him, he had found nothing of interest. Dissapointed, he was now moving through the forest as fast he could. He jus thoped that Mara's overthrow of Burzum had gone better than his quest for knowledge and power at the capital...

The army of Germania was now nerely at the meeting place. As the soldiers pushed onward, Guame and Djinn looked up at Discord. "Is that so?" the old beastman said. "Most likely, the realization that all they know and love will be destroyed prompted them into action..."

Sharavuras was training his quarters, using a dummy to practice his "Two-Handed" and "Dagger-and-Longsword" fighting techniques. He knew the half-demon did not trust him... not that it mattered. Burzum did not trust him either. He would serve Mara and her master until he decided that they were not worth his time anymore. Then, if he felt like it, he could kill them, or perhaps he would become a drifter in Aster, doing as he pleased...

The Stalkers were in the barracks, training the orcs in swordplay and the art of blocking with both a weapon and a shield....

"I am well aware of that much," Discord replied, tickling Guame's nose with his tail. "Why's this... 'dark force' so intent on destroying the world anyway? Seems like an awful waste of opportunity to me. He could do so much better..."
