The roar pierced the silence like a hidden blade.
Scar Tooth burst through the underbrush catching the raptor by surprise, quickly the Carnotaurs jaws sunk into the raptors mid section. Lifting the raptor up into the air as if it were nothing Scar Tooth shook his head side to side in a rapid movement, suddenly a sickening clicking noise can be heard as Scar Tooth shattered the smaller carnivores spine as well as other bones. Bringing his large skull in a high arc Scar Tooth slammed the Velociraptor into the ground ending its cries. Scar Tooth hovered over the kill he earned before digging his large squarish jaws into the dead raptor enjoying his feast...

Thorn Jaw distanced himself further from the Stokesosaurs and the Carchardontosaurus, his mind made up that he would stay solitary until he found a mate. Continuing further through the ever denser forest Thorn Jaw soon hears something he wasn't expecting...flowing water. Quickening his pace towards the valuable source of hydration, Thorn Jaw soon makes out bright sun light that glimmers on the edge of the dense forest. Quickly and silently Thorn Jaw enters the rays of sunlight, his eyes filling with a mute satisfaction of what he was looking at.
Flowing before him was one of many Large flowing rivers near Isla Sorna's interior. Grinning happily Thorn Jaw takes a much needed drink of the cool jungle river water. Farther down stream a small group of Camarasaurus feast on the leaves of tall tree's oblivious of the Ceratosaur's presence...

Paradox could hear the sickening crack of shattering bones, along with the ripping of fresh meat. The Abelisaurus's hunger was almost unbearable at this point. He had to make his move, sooner or later. Paradox snorted, walking towards Scar Tooth and his meal.

"Is there any of that you can prehaps... share?" he grunted, his tail swaying slowly from left to right.

Scar Tooth let loose a menacing growl looking directly at the invader of his territory, taking another bite of his kill Scar Tooth stood to his full height. Turning to fully face Paradox, the Carnotaur roared! The roar was an absolute threat, Scar Tooth will only give one chance for escape. Stamping the ground with his large feet Scar Tooth prepares to attack his muscles tensed for battle...

Thorn Jaw walked down the shore line of the river happy to have this stretch of river his. Suddenly Thorn Jaw realizes that he is still bleeding! Slowly the Ceratosaur makes his way to a safe and secluded place to rest and allow his wounds to heal. Finding a place between two large boulders Thorn Jaw lowers himself between the large rocks to protect his flanks from any attacks if they come from behind. Feeling the day's troubles hit him Thorn Jaw feels his eyes fluttering shut as he soon falls into an uneasy sleep...

The Abelisaurus snarled at this new rival, more focused on the mutilated raptor corpse than anything else. He needed to either kill the Carnotaurus for the food, or steal the raptor corpse and run off. Paradox suddenly charged at Scar Tooth with his head downwards. He aimed for the sides of the Carnotaurus, dashing at full speed towards the predator...

Thrasher lay in the main river running through his territory, floating in it like some massive crocodile, his fin catching the rays of the sun as his eyes rested from the day's work. Numerous spinosaurs also dotted the riverbank and swam within the River itself, some fishing, others watching for potential threats. The jagged-finned Spinosaur yawned widely as he watched the surrounding waters and treeline. He was the youngest predator ever to build such a reputation as to be considered the most dominant creature on the island. It was easy to be arrogant, though he resisted the temptation that came with his unique position. Arrogance had costed the Tyrannosaurs their place on the island foodchain. He would not duplicate the mistake that handed his enemy's title to him...

"Wasn't implying you were" grunted Crusher as he walked casually, finding his mind drifting to Darkness, wondering where he was at that moment. It had been over a day since he last saw the shadow-scaled Raptor...

"I'm just letting you know" said Aircrest as he slowly came back to his senses. "So what was the hardest thing about this whole thing; getting chased down on purpose or being right there to see the...carnage?"

Brute snorted, sensing Thrasher's presence. The Ankylosaur decided to ignore, as it would be a bad idea to attack him, seeing how an Ankylosaurus had armor everywhere on its body but its legs and undersides, and even those were protected with thick, leathery hide instead of bony, spiked armor. The armored dinosaur grumbled as he bit into low cycad...

"Neither was really difficult. I knew the Trike would charge after me, but finding it was luck. After that it was just luring it to the cave. As for the carnage..." growled Crusher, his voice trailing off as, for a split second, images of his own father and brother laying broken and mangled on the forest floor in a pool of their own blood, assaulted his mind. "...Let's just say I'm no stranger to violent death"...

The Ankylosaur was, for the most part, ignored by the Spinosaurs. being a herbivore, it wasn't a threat to the territory or its inhabitants, and would not really challenge for territory in the way a carnivore would...

The sun was setting over Isla Sorna. The Carcharodontosaurus mother looked down at a young Shade, nuzzling the chick's snout against her own. "Shade, I'm going to get some food for the nest. You be sure to call if any trouble happens, okay?" the large carnivore grumbled to her daughter, walking into the forest. Little did young Shade know, her mother would never return.

Shade twitched in her sleep, grumbling and squinting a little. Her tail curled around her.

Suddenly, the trees began to shake. Snorting could be heard. A Torosaurus suddenly burst from the jungle, obviously rampant. It bellowed as it charged directly at the mother Carcha, ramming its large horns into the carnivore's gut, impaling its vital organs. The three-horned beast shook the Carcha off of its horns, then running off into the forest, charging at whatever was in its path...

Shade's eyes flew open as she kicked up dust, her legs flailing around as if she were having a seizure. The Carcha stood, remembering the loss of her mother. She sighed as she shook the dirt off of herself after it cleared up from the air...

"That so?" Aircrest barked. "At the rate I've been going at for the past few days, I guess I can say I'm getting acquainted" he went onto say somberly. Being a solitary creature, Aircrest grew accustomed to thinking avoiding death was a personal struggle. Very rarely did the implications of death's impact on others occur to him. He was still sensitive to these realizations...

Shade got some decent sleep; not all the sleep she needed, but sleep was sleep, and she at least had taken a nap. Deciding to take a drink, the Carcha walked into the grassland, headed for the river to quench her thirst. Her obsidian-like scales glistened in the sun as she yawned a little, then sniffing the air. Shade shook her head a little, trying to regain full consciousness after her slumber.

Scar Tooth Side stepped away from Paradox's attack, slamming his horned head against the Abelisaurs side sending it into a nearby tree. Snarling the Carnotaurs face was contorted with hate and primal fury. Charging forward Scar Tooth looks to end his smaller rivals life. Having been in countless fights before Scar Tooth was prepared for anything at the moment, he would admit however most assailants were a lot smaller than this Abelisaur. Scar Tooth closed the distance within seconds clamping down on Paradox's shoulder feeling the bones of his opponents shoulder creak under his bite pressure...

Thorn Jaw continued to sleep, though it was not pleasant. His dreams were nightmares full of dread and despair, his mothers death flashed before his eyes the predatory tyrant nearly severing her in two with his powerful jaws! Thorn Jaw screeched in horror as he saw the monster tear apart his siblings one at a time taking his time with each individual one. Thorn Jaw finally found himself running in the dream escaping when he should have tried to save his family...The large Ceratosaur finally saw himself as he thought he was...a Coward...

Paradox managed to get himself free, despite having a nasty wound on his shoulder. Instead of attacking the Carnotaurus, he ran for the mutilated raptor corpse, snatching it into his jaws and setting off into the forest with his new meal...

Shade walked to the river, sighing as she felt the water trickle down her throat...

Scar Tooth thought about giving chase starting after the Abelisaur. Suddenly he stops growling deeply, he would not give chase, turning in the opposite direction Scar Tooth sets off to find another source of food. He would deal with the Abelisaur when the time presented itself, he knew with the wound he inflicted Scar Tooth would have no trouble finding the smaller carnivore. Stalking off through the dense jungle Scar Tooth sets off to find himself a more substantial meal...

Paradox swallowed the mush of muscle and bone whole, piece by piece. Despite the wound on his shoulder, the Abelisaurus enjoyed his meal with each savory bit of flesh he devoured...

Quickly Scar Tooth gets back into his stealthy hunting mode, stalking the forest quietly, aware of every sound he steps with caution. His hide easily blending with the surrounding jungle the Carnotaur soon catches the scent of prey, stepping forward another step he lowers his head to the leaf scattered jungle floor inhaling deeply the scent. Kentrosaurus Scar Tooth thinks recognizing the scent, confusion enters his mind for the briefest of moments. A Kentrosaur? Their kind is rare in the dense jungle, why would it come here? Scar Tooth thought before shrugging it off. A meal is a meal and the Carnotaur was not picky when it came to prey.
Soon the fresh scent of Kentrosaur fills his olfactory system as Scar Tooth steps into another small clearing within the forest spotting the oblivious herbivore. Quietly and cautiously Scar Tooth continues on getting closer to his unsuspecting prey. Scar Tooth knows he is far larger than this small Kentrosaur but it doesn't mean it isn't dangerous to him. He knows how to deal with these spiky meals with caution and technique. Circling to the side of the medium sized herbivore Scar Tooth prepares to charge.
Feeding on the jungle vegetation the Kentrosaur finds it more filling then anything he would find on the plains. Growling in pleasure the Kentrosaur continues to eat, however his mind is still on guard. He has this uncontrollable feeling that he is being stalked, had the beast which had chased him here continue the hunt? The Kentrosaur did not know this, however he could feel something was wrong. Raising his small head the Kentrosaur surveys his surroundings finding nothing that would harm him. Suddenly the Kentrosaur hears the rhythmic rumbling of something very large running very fast, sadly for the Kentrosaurus it was too late. Scar Tooth's large box like jaw latch onto the screaming Kentrosaurus neck as it tries desperately to dislodge its attacker. As it tries to pull itself free Scar Tooth's teeth continue to rip, deeper into the prey's hide causing massive amounts of blood to spill boiling on the ground. Writhing in pain the Kentrosaur soon slumps to the ground its neck still leaking the blood. As the last bit of life is drained from the dying beast Scar Tooth turns to his prey's belly ripping it open wide to get to the most valuable part...The liver...

Paradox wasn't filled, but he at least had something to feast upon. The Abelisaurus walked through the forest, in search of food...

The Carcha sighed, looking around for the raptor that had pestered her earlier. The last thing she needed was a seemingly suicidal velociraptor pestering her in a mood like this. The carnivore then continued to drink. Shade's depression seemed to flow through her veins, raiding her mind...

Steeltalon spoke for the first time since the green raptor had shown up. "I don't think there's a creature on this island who hasn't seen some form of it," she murmured. She herself had been very young to encounter such things - much too young to strike out on her own. The loss of her family had forced her into adulthood before she was prepared for it, and she knew she was very lucky to still be alive.

"Not everyone experiences something that ferocious though. I pity any chicks that pack may have had....They have been exposed to a future I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy" growled Crusher lowly, knowing all too well the pain that came with having your loved ones annihilated so thoroughly...

Blade eyed the two Allosaur chicks as they moved to take apart the flailing Procompsognathus, the young Allosaur moving towards its tail end and biting down on the tail and hips firmly, trying to tug at it, meeting resistance in the form of the others, before he began to struggle, a purring, frustrated growl coming from him as he tugged at its lower body...

Pipsqueak wasn't dead, however, he was wriggling wildly, managing to get his foot onto a young Allosaur's face, pushing it back by a slight inch...

Shade's head was pointed down as she walked. The Carcha was expressing obvious depression...
