Redtooth hissed, "They're Triceratops, a bad-tempered group of plant-eaters. You don't have to be nasty to them, but as a predator, the urge to hunt them and other herbivores keeps us away from each other and prevents most friendships. That's especially so with larger predators, like myself."

Sandstorm crawled into the cave and sat down. it was warm in there but he was still shivering. He grrowled "The guy on the roof, you finally found a mate?"

Steeltalon shook her head. "Nah, just a good friend," she growled. She turned serious and growled, "What happened to...?" She trailed off, knowing it would be painful any way she asked.

Sandstorm winced. He didnt want too but he knew he would have to explain at some point. He mumered quitely "Ill tell you the quick version now, explain tomorrow. ready?:
Quicktooth, dead.....................
Clawfist, probobly going to be dead soon if not already.....................
Softfoot, rapidly making other things dead..................
Shadow leaf...... she... shes gone missing and i cant find her.................

Some pack killed quicktooth and destroyed our eggs. that led to Clawfsit and Softfoot completely losing it. I cant remember what happend to shadow leaf, one day she was just gone, I need to find her, but first i need to live." He was shaking by the time he had said it all. Please tell me something, anything about whats happened since we left, I need to take my mind off things.

Steeltalon blinked. "I'm sorry," she growled quietly. "I found a little hatchling by the name of Silver." Silver woke up at the strange scent and came into the caves. "Steeltalon, what's going..." Silver trailed off when she saw Steeltalon with another raptor. Steeltalon smiled faintly. "Sandstorm, meet Silver." Silver stared at Sandstorm wide-eyed.

Sandstorm turned his head slowly to the small little creture. his tail flicked absently. he narrowed his eyes stareing at it. One part of him wanted to screech at the the thing for being so innocent, the other part wanted to just ignore it. He grunted and tried a weak smile. nothing came, so he gave up and lay his head on the floor. Then he started thinking about Shadow leaf so to bring his mind off it he snarled "so why do they call you silver little one?"

Silver tilted her head to one side. "For my coloring," she answered after a bit of thought. Her off-white coloring could almost be described as a very pale gray. She blinked at Sandstorm curiously. "Why'd they call you Sandstorm?"

He grinned slightly. the conversation helped. he growled lightly "partilly of my sand like colour but mostly beacuse we used to live in a really sandy area, and thanks to my speed i used to kick a lot of sand while running, it drove my parents crazy. So how did you find Steeltalon. when we found her we were in a rexs territory running for our lives, im geussing your meeting was less dramatic?

Triceratops, Switchblade thought to herself. I wish I could see more of them. She wondered if she would ever see the young one again. Maybe I could be friends with them if no one else will. She looked in the direction she thought they might have gone. Maybe I should find them. She got up and tested her leg again. It seemed to be healing well and wasn't too painful to walk on. She took a few steps. Wait, Redtooth doesn't want me to go off by myself. She let out a tiny growl and stomped back to the nest. "I hate being a hatchling! I'm too little to do anything by myself!" She hadn't intended to say it out loud, and wondered if she had disturbed Redtooth.

He laughed slightly and commented "Knowing her temper your lucky she didnt eat you. He grinned at steeltalon, no offence.

Steeltalon smiled back. "None taken." Silver went out of the cave, suddenly remembering something, and came back with a chunk of meat almost as big as she was. She nudged it towards Sandstorm. "Here, you must be hungry," Silver chirped, backing away respectfully.

Redtooth turned to Switchbalde. He growled, "I'm sure you'll grow quickly once your leg heals and you eat some more."

Sandstorm grunted in delight, he grabed the chunk of meat and tore a huge chunk out of it and sowllowed it down. He hissed "Thanks i really needed that, the last time I ate was about 4 days ago when I caught a couple of compys. He immeidiatly lay back down again. He was tired and couldnt stand for long. he pulled the meat over and started pulling strips off it.

Silver nodded and turned to leave. She had heard Steeltalon talk about Clawfist's pack, but she never thought she'd get to see a member of it. Silver came out of the caves and spotted darkness. She walked over, curious and concerned at the same time. "What's wrong?" she asked.

Steeltalon settled down in the usual spot, worried about Clawfist and Shadowleaf. She made sure it didn't show on her face though; Sandstorm had only just calmed down.

Switchblade stood up. When Redtooth mentioned eating, Switchblade noticed how hungry she was. She had been so caught up in thinking about her dream and her sudden outburst and the Triceratops that she had forgotten to eat. In fact, she hadn't eaten all day. "I was thinking about so many other things, I totally forgot about myself," she squeaked and walked over to the compy to finish off what was left after her attack on it.

Ghost lifted his head slightly, it was raining outside and he couldn't sleep. He looked to his right and looked at bloodrose, she was sleeping soundly. Ghost quietly lifted himself up and crept to the entrance to the cave, it was absolutely pouring. Hmm.....reminds me of when I was merely a hatchling..... Ghost trails off as he remembers that time long ago.

"Flashback"
"Lightning Flashes illuminating a small soaked raptor" Where is everyone.... The Small Raptor barks loudly as he runs through the Jungle. "A bolt of lightning strikes a tree nearby felling it" Where's my family..... The Small raptor barks again muffled by the heavy rain. "Lightning Flashes in the distance"
"end flashback"

A large tree near the cave is struck by lightning and almost falls on Ghost narrowly missing him as he jumps back into the cave. I'd best go back in before Bloodrose awakens and finds me missing. Ghost growls softly as he creeps back into the cave as Thunder booms in the distance.
