"So you throw valuable resources at your enemies to silence them? Being your enemy sounds like a very beneficial thing" snorted Fatalis with a taunting smirk. "Pfft, what next? intestines? enjoy the taste of Sauropod waste" hissed the Raptor...

"Oh, it won't be from the inside of the sauropod... As I said... much less pleasant." Shade snorted with a smirk. She was hoping that Fatalis was catching on to what she would do to him...

"Try it. Don't complain when you're crippled for the remainder of your brief life" hissed Fatalis, his lips curling to reveal narrow, serrated, blood-coated fangs...

Shade mocked a gag, trying to tease the raptor. After this, she snickered a little, trying to hold in a large burst of laughter, which was actually harder than she thought it would be.

"Oh really, now? I don't want to have the taste a Parasaurolophus breakfast again. That would be most uncalled for." she barked, now distracted from her meal. However, Paradox felt like starting some trouble...

"You two make a cute couple." the Abelisaur growled with a smirk...

No sooner had Shade begun talking than the Raptor collided with the side of her face, the sudden momentum causing him to skid down one side, one killer claw tearing a deep gash starting from her right nostril and ending a mere half-inch under her eye, the other tearing down the top of her skull and ending between her brow crests, the Raptor springing off upwards and landing on her back...

Shade roared, snapping at the raptor with her giant toothed maw, thrashing and bucking wildly, running into the forest, hoping to knock him off with a tree branch.

"You really thought I was serious, didn't you?!" Shade snarled...

The Loner tore violently at the Carcha's back, shifting to one side and skidding down her flank as she went under a relatively low branch, deep gouges left in her flank from his claws as he scrambled around one leg and kicked off, landing on the ground with a snarl as he turned to face the Carcha charging away from him. "You think your attempts to vomit your last meal concern me, you thick-skulled idiot?" snarled the Raptor, his eyes flaring...

Crusher's head snapped towards the direction the two predators had headed off, the young Rex somewhat surprised at the outbreak of another fight so soon after the first...

"Lovely couple, aren't they?" Paradox sarcastically snorted to Crusher with his stomach full. The Abelisaurus then sat down, staring in the direction that Shade had ran off to...

"Eh...I honestly hope he claws an eye out. That Carcha was annoying" grunted Crusher at the Abelisaur...

"Yeah, I'd agree. She was kind of snooty, in my opinion." The Abelisaur barked in response. "Although I wish that raptor would settle down a bit. He kind of blew up there. I wouldn't blame him though." he added, licking some of the flecks of meat off of his jaws...

Steeltalon's head snapped around at the sound of more fighting, the raptor getting to her feet. "I don't think it's safe to stick around," she growled. "This place is getting a little crowded..." She picked up the hatchling again, hearing Silver growl a bit in a sleepy threat.

"That's it! RUN Coward!" barked Fatalis after the retreating Carcharodontosaur. Usually he enjoyed taunting Super-predators for the sake of their reaction, and the subsequent chase. But this Carcha just annoyed him. All the high and mighty attitude of a Super predator, and yet the heart of a Compy...

Shade continued to stand where she was, annoyed herself.

"What is your problem anyway? Are you sure that you didn't get too many times in the head when you hatched?" Shade grunted, actually sounding concerned rather than sarcastic.

"I've never really seen a Rex-Raptor friendship before, so please don't mind me asking." Paradox explained with a snort.

"Resorting to petty insults. How very....mature. Surely you have something better than THAT" snarled Fatalis as he sprung from his position, landing in a nearby tree branch, leaping to another soon afterwards, entering the canopy...

"I think so," Steeltalon replied to Crusher, glancing down at Silver. "I just don't know what I'm going to do with her," she added more quietly.

"I wish you nothing but a screaming death." Shade grunted as she walked towards the swamp...

Paradox was fascinated. Never before had he seen a positive relationship between a large and small carnivore...

"You know, it's very hard to do deal with this garbage on a regular basis, yet here I am, doing it and been doing it for the past twenty years of my life." came a tough and rather masculine sounding voice.

"Awe, you know you love me,” said another, this one wasn't as rough and was more feminine.

"That better not be some sort of inter-species joke,” the male voice replied.

"Nyx, that would never happen to you anyway, you’re to much of a loner to get a mate," said the female voice to the male, now known as Nyx.

"Says the girl named after the thing she eats. Why don't you go serve yourself for dinner and let me sleep." growled Nyx.

"Because, although I love, eat, and am named after fish, I don't feel like that today. I want some real meat," the feminine voice explained, and revealed Fish to be her name.

"So what do you want me to do about that?" Nyx snorted.

"I want you to go hunt something down for me." Fish growled.

"Do it yourself, you're the bigger one here, why send the little guy after everything." Nyx grumbled sarcastically.

Two very different dinosaurs, usually mortal enemies, we're arguing on who would get dinner for who. At the moment, the male of the two was winning.

Fish growled, and stomped off to try and catch something on her own, while Nyx stayed back under his tree to be his usual mid afternoon lazy self. Although large for a T.Rex, he still couldn't match the size of some of the larger spinosaurids on the islands, like the infamous Thrasher. Not that that would matter to him any time soon, he could defend himself. At the moment, he was waiting for a bird to fly down and pick at his teeth. There was always a small black one that would fly down on a regular basis. Today, it was late. Nyx was a muscled and bulky T.Rex, quite the contrary to his spinosaur companion who was thin and slim for her species. The force driving two opposites like them together must've been fate, and as much as Fish annoyed him, he would never leave her behind, and he didn't doubt she'd do the same for him. With nothing to keep him up, Nyx soon fell asleep in the afternoon sun.

...

Only to be awoken by a frustrated roar. Growling in annoyance, the massive Tyrannosaur lifted his body from its sleeping position and stood up. He twisted his head sideways, hearing a loud crack, smiling slightly in satisfaction before breaking off into a run. Despite being a large and heavy animal, he still reached the source of the roar rather quickly, and sure enough, found the culprits prime suspect. None other than Fish after being left in the dust by whatever she was trying to hunt.

"You know, maybe fish won't be so bad tonight after all." Fish grumbled.
"The government!" Willow started to rant again. "They stole our water and now they're stealing our souls! Lightbulbs are bri- K IS FOR POTASSIUM! Get your umbrellas, folks, it's gonna be a rainy day!" Okay, maybe she'd completely lost it..." -Me roleplaying on a different site.

Djinn's roars and calls for help were easily audible, the Stokesosaur intending on calling his pack or at least a fellow Stokesosaurus. The tyrannosaurid continued to bark and snarl, thrashing in the mud he was in. The calls caught the attention of many different dinosaurs...
