Seemingly ignorant to the damage to its form, the doppelganger forced the real Desrium to kneel, as its incredible strength continued to work despite its wounds. Black liquid seeped from its jaws, as its helm appeared to melt within the raging shadow-fire surrounding its head...

A low groaning emanated from both the Blood Omen and his doppelganger as their armored bodies were subjected to such extreme stresses. Desrium resisted the bestial strength of his counterpart as best as he could, unable to compete with such raw physical power and his armor was reflecting that, just barely withstanding force that would crush any lesser armor. Likewise, the doppelganger's neck was failing under the vise that was the Blood Omen's maw. The sounds of protest as metal gradually gave way mixed in with the guttural noises of Desrium's copy and with one final wrenching motion, the real Blood Omen tore the imposter's head from its shoulders....

Zazikel had a more difficult time dodging at this range, so instead he formed a shield of negative energy in front of him, absorbing the attack. His shield exploded away from him as the unstable energy overwhelmed it, but it did the trick, leaving Zazikel unharmed. The Archdemon took advantage of Tzeentch's close proximity and shot toward her, wreathed in energy like a magical comet...

The arrow's piercing power was greatly reduced by the blind beast's metallic mask that hid its hideous face. The former man, emitting a low hiss, danced towards his foe, slicing his blades towards Cyris' stomach, aiming to spill her guts...

Tzeentch managed to shift out of the way fast enough to avoid Zazikel's bulk, though the energy that wrapped around him sheared through her side, revealing more chaotic energy. As the archdemon passed her, two streams of energy shot forth from her eyes, aimed at Zazikel's back.

Black liquid poured from the doppelganger's neck, dark energy seen within its body expanding outward, obliterating the rest of its form, including the sword Desrium once called his own. The blast threw the Blood Omen back, while his spear, despite its proximity to the destruction of his foe, was strangely unharmed. As Desrium landed, he found himself once again on the field of battle, surrounded by the various mutants, some alive and some dead. However, much more dangerous entities lurked in the dark around him...

Desrium stared upwards at the blackened sky, unmoving. He paid attention to the sounds of battle all around him, the noise of soldiers claiming victories and many agonizing in defeat registering abruptly after the relative quiet of his own conflict. When he had come to terms to the sudden shift shortly after, he proceeded to stand, spear in hand and the tattered robe hanging off his metal body, the exposed parts visibly scorched...

Zazikel continued on a straight path for a moment, before arcing up and back, his loop making the energy bolts pass beneath him. As he shot back at Tzeentch, he released a concentrated beam of energy at her, still moving forward at a fast clip...

Summoning vast energies, Tzeentch shot her own beam and, at the same time, engulfed herself in unstable energies, moving toward Zazikel as she fought against his own energy.

Movement shifted in the darkness above and around Desrium. The mutants shambled on, as if oblivious to his presence. They knew they were not needed. Numerous hellish creatures stalked him now, those of the same species as the creature that broke Jiier's staff. The darkness did not allow the Blood Omen to see the exact number, but they were definitely there, circling like vultures before carrion.

Deciding not to take chances, Zazikel veered off at the last second, stopping his attack and arcing away from Tzeentch to dodge hers...

Desrium kept his guard up as he moved through the horde, ignoring them as they ignored him, not daring to free the souls bound to their husks of a body. Doing so would give these...aspects of Eredar the perfect opportunity to strike. No, the undead would fall to their comrades holding the line while he focused on those much more dangerous...the servant of the Dawnmother would face those pledging their very existence to the god of shadows...

Septimus veered upwards sharply as the cloud of static electricity burst out before him, barely evading it as he shot into the sky like a gigantic arrow, the Scholar thinking furiously over how to counter this opponent...

"I would rather not be as delicate as wet parchment, if that could at all be avoided. Besides, ladies swoon over the fit, toned warrior more often than the lanky, robe-wrapped mage, from what I hear" joked Andruil with a smirk...

Bassunka spun his bladed staff, preparing for the inevitable attack, his helmet hiding his eyes, which watched every one of his potential opponents, shifting between them swiftly, making sure they had no chance to take him by surprise...

Tzeentch let the energy rush on, removing herself from it, before shooting after Zazikel, twin bolts of energy emerging from her eyes.

Arashi snarled, shooting up after Septimus as more crackling energy snaked around his forearms.

"He intends to fight..." a voice rasped mockingly, taunting, whisper-like voices laughing in response all around him. Every so often, a shape could be seen darting in and out of the light that surrounded Desrium, far too fleeting to be attacked. "How very noble..."

The laughing continued.

Energy flowed along Septimus's own arms as he looked down at his pursuer, the mana flowing through one arm turning golden as embers flowed from his arm, trailing behind him, as if it had turned into a burning branch, charred on the surface yet crackling with fiery energy just beneath, as the other arm began to swirl with bluish energy, the mana seeming to gain substance and mass, the light along his arm being distorted as the energy morphed into water, droplets flowing behind him, still glowing with magical energy. thrusting his arms down, torrents of flames and water flowed out behind him, expanding as they did so, meeting just below him and exploding into a massive cloud of vapor, the Dragon disappearing behind his smoke-screen...

Desrium's wordless rebuttal was the spreading of his golden wings, the shimmering arches glowing bright along with his crimson eyes. The essence of the Traitor God was practically exuded by his followers. "You fight for Eredar and thus embrace your own destruction," Desrium began to say, eying the darkness around him, glimpsing the darting shapes. "I will grant your wish for death"

Tetto'eko gave Andruil a knowing smile. "Would you be so kind as to protect me for a moment? I would like to show you what this 'lanky mage' is capable of..."

Zazikel snarled, veering back around to face the incoming Changeling. She was more agile than he was, he knew, but was she as strong? It was about time he found out. With a mighty roar, he rocketed towards Tzeentch, claws outstretched, energy tendrils exploding from his form...

"It can't be anything outstanding considering you need my protection in the first place" teased Andruil with a smirk, as he flipped his blade in hand, glowing golden eyes shifting through the chaos around them, watching for threats...

"All good things come to those who wait, my friend," Tetto'eko hissed, closing his eyes and raising his staff to the dark heavens, gathering power. In order to cast the Comet of Cassandora, he would need preparation, but the results would be well worth it...

A third Hellhound moved forward, slowly, towards Bassunka, stopping at the same distance the previous two did, closely followed by a fourth. They were taking their time, closing in cautiously, carefully, but ever so steadily...

Arashi powered through the smokescreen undeterred, his vision already limited due to the mist around them. He was far too enraged to realize the nature of his surroundings.

Tzeentch cursed inwardly, breathing out a stream of chilling energy as she veered upwards, the attack wafting toward Zazikel even after she turned to evade.

The laughing continued. Suddenly, a large, ash-gray tail swept out from the dark, knocking the Blood Omen's feet out from under him, before disappearing into smoke even before it left the space beneath Desrium. "Such confidence...such arrogance..." one drawled as the Blood Omen was floored.

Spike let loose a shower of arrow's downwards at the vampires below him, striking many dead center with a few simply slicing skin and penetrating into non vital areas. The black argonian suddenly whirled around when he felt something brush his right wing only to discover that a vamp had leaped at him and just very barely missed, now hissing it started to crawl along the ceiling toward the Lizard humanoid. Spike slowly started to flap his wings, carrying him backwards away from the bloodsucker while putting his bow and unsheathing his great sword, holding it between himself and his opponent. Briefly glancing away from his opponent his was just able to spot Jerrin run farther into the cave, most likely after the leader " Alright then I'll get what you left behind, i love leftovers" the Black Argonian snarled before assessing his opponent's that were in this cavern. Besides the vampire on the ceiling, spike could see at lest ten other starting to crawl up the walls toward their winged foe.

As he fell, the armored being slammed the end of the spear into the ground and supported himself on it, for a short moment looking like the elder that the Changeling disguised herself as. He shoved off from the ground, jumping high and far with the help of the energetic wings, landing in the midst of a crowd of zombified soldiers. All of his enemies shared incredible speed and the ability to meld into darkness itself. Fighting them all alone would be suicide...
