Khuurava eyed the incoming rocket, cursing as his enhanced legs launched him off the wall, flying several dozen feet away from the point of impact as he flipped, landing in a crouch on a conveyor belt, the landing shaking dust from the disabled production line, the Khurakra resuming his onslaught as he continued to tear through the vorcha, his enhanced shields and armoured cloak soaking up the majority of the firepower hurled at him, his natural speed meaning that not much had time to hit him before the attackers were shot apart, beheaded or hacked in half by the whitish glowing blade in his hand...

"Gah! Sounva--" Arrak cursed and crawled backwards, firing his rifle at the arm that protruded from the ground...

The rocket exploded behind Khuurava, but the shockwave from the blast sent several crates flying, one of which crashed into mercenary, sending him sprawling. However, by that point, the Vorcha were all but routed, and the few survivors that remained scattered with their leader...

The one arm was pulled back into the floor amidst sparks and pockmarks from the Turian's rifle. Split seconds later however, the second hand burst from the ground, the palm slamming into the back of Arrak's neck and wrenching it upwards, cold metal fingers wrapping around it and cementing a choking grip. The Executioner attempted to drag the mercenary down as it did with the unlucky Vorcha, succeeding only in banging Arrak's head against the flooring repeatedly in doing so, its hold cutting off the Turian's breathing...

Khuurava lifted his legs up as he hit the surface of the conveyor belt, before kicking upwards, arching his back as he landed back on his feet, glancing around at his would be enemies, though few remained, all of them retreating. Glancing towards his comrade, he saw the Turian being assaulted by something below the ground. snarling, he crouched, putting away his assault rifle and drawing the railgun once more, aiming at the floor under the Turian, rather than at the Turian himself...

With a frustrated snarl that sounded more like a strangled gurgle, Arrak activated the Omni-blade over his left hand, desperately trying to stab or slice the offending arm before he was strangled or battered into unconsciousness...

Be it Arrak's armor or his own tough scales, the Executioner could not pull the Turian's head under. The metal his head was being smashed against began to crumple as if it were mere tinfoil, the incredibly strong droid simply expanding the hole before dragging the mercenary into the room below, dropping him onto the ground. A quick analysis determined the blade of suspended particles and energy to be especially threatening. While Arrak was still dazed and breathless, the droid ripped his gun out from his grip, wielding the rifle with one hand, lethal end turned on its owner.

another deafening boom tore out through the facility as Khuurava fired, the railgun shot tearing through the drone's back and right shoulder at a sharp angle, punching out the other side and hitting the ground, embedding itself four feet down into the earth, molten metal and stone left in its wake, a gaping hole left in the droid, as Khuurava cocked the weapon, driving another round into place as the weapon quickly charged for another shot...

Sparks jumped from the droid, the slug punching through armor and inner systems alike without any delay. Amazingly however, the shot did not stop the robot. Nor did it hinder it for long, wires and thick cables slithering into place where the armor had been breached, packing together tightly. It looked disturbingly similar to actual muscle in an organic body, the cables helping to seal the lapses in the shell and keep the damaged parts together. The beastly machine turned away from Arrak for now, his weapon in its hands as it charged out from the sub level to deal with the second threat...

Arrak was too busy clutching his aching skull to fight at the moment, apparently content with just sitting and groaning in pain...

Khuurava didn't waste time. As soon as the machine moved from it's location, he put away the rifle. No doubt it would move to attack him. drawing his assault rifle, the weapon unfolded and lit up as it prepared for the imminent fight...

The Executioner unit rushed out from one of the many openings in the floors and walls made from the confrontation, scaling the piles of rubble without any difficulty. Pinpointing Khuurava above it, the droid knelt, its inner workings building up tension. After a moment of preparation, the robot unleashed the pent up energy, leaping tens of feet into the air vertically, grabbing onto a rafter with its free hand, aiming Arrak's rifle with the other arm and opening fire with deadly mechanical accuracy...

Khuurava snarled as he dove off the conveyor belt he was on, landing below as he began to move around the room, leaping between cover spots as he waited out the assault rifle's clip. He was certain it lacked replacements, and would mean that it's ranged weapon would be depleted soon, allowing him to fight back at range unhindered...

Ceasing its attack when its quarry was out of the line of fire, the Executioner calculated Khuurava's next move, locating the mercenary and then moving to intercept his next dash to cover. Swinging on its wrist and then letting go, the droid dropped from above right in front of Khuurava, the mercenary only a few feet away from being crushed under its bulk. Without hesitation, it brung the rifle's barrel down on his head with enough force the gun might have just fallen apart right then and there...

The crack rang through the nearly silent facility, as the armour's built in shields soaked up the majority of the blow, the remaining just enough to cause Khuurava considerable pain, though not hindering his ability to fight, his foot having come up against the mech's chest almost in time with the impact, the mechanically augmented limb kicking against it with several tons worth of force, knocking the machine away from him as he fired a grenade at it for good measure...

The mech ducked down, metal fingers piercing the floor with equally loud bangs and anchoring the bestial machine, the grenade soaring overhead and exploding behind it. Its eyes seemed to light up while the rest of its gray plated body fell into silhouette. Immediately after, the machine broke into a charge, hurtling at Khuurava and throwing a monstrous punch, landing square in the mercenary's midsection and sending him flying across the factory as if he were hit by a fully loaded semi going full speed...

Khuurava snarled as he was knocked back, flipping as his leg clipped a container, sending him tumbling through the air before landing on his hands and feet, taloned hands digging into the ground as his feet skidded along the ground, before kicking off, launching himself off the ground and colliding with the wall near the ceiling, magnetic anchors keeping him in place as he opened fire on the robot once more, a torrent of assault rifle fire being unleashed on the machine...

The mercenary would not get the chance to exploit his positioning. In mid-jump, Khuurava was intercepted by the Executioner, the robot matching his jump and swinging a powerful arm down into the Khuraka; knocking him back to the cold steel of the factory floor. The droid landed shortly after Khuurava did, the Khuraka bouncing from the force of the blow and into the robot's awaiting hand, which locked around his leg, just above the ankle joint. With a vicious swing, the Khuraka mercenary was smashed into a nearby crate before being bashed against the wall...

The shield crackled as it sent a high voltage charge of electricity through the mech, monetarily disabling it as Khuurava pulled himself free, a grenade launcher round being fired directly into it's face as he kicked away, the blast blowing the machine backwards and tumbling across the factory floor, the acid already burning away at whatever was left of the machine's head after the blast, Khuurava putting sufficient distance between him and the mech to allow him to evade a charge should it try and get up. Note to self; Hire a Krogan as a team mate next time. Turians are worthless was the thought going through his mind the entire time...

The robot's casing that made up its head was practically blown off completely, the bottom "jaw" being all that was left with a myriad of damaged components and circuitry, the acid melting most of the parts into a blackish-green sludge that seeped from the jagged sides of the machine's crippled head. It laid on the floor, hands resting palm-up, Arrak's damaged rifle laying inches away. It seemed like the marauder was finally put down...until low whirring and humming started up. From the thick, melted goo came a piercing red orb, several silver and black cables wrapping around it so that they were packed into a tight sphere. This sphere was suspended by four flexing cables leading back into the unit's neck. Even when it should have been blinded and its AI critically damaged, the war machine persisted. It rose to its feet, its "muscles" flexing where the chassis was damaged. For the first time in the battle, it made a noise...a lower metallic groaning that transitioned into a hiss, vapor expelled from the bottom of what remained of its head...

A rattling, scraping hiss came from the Khurakra as the shield crackled back to life, a second grenade launcher round streaking forward, not hitting the mech, but instead the primary support beam of a conveyor belt running above it, detonating violently, the entire system coming down over the machine...
