Darkness awoke slowly, opening his eyes and seeing the sunlight streaming through the leaves. He stretched, almost falling off the branch in the process. Darkness jumped sluggishly off the branch and walked over to the stream, lapping up the cool waters. As he finished, he yawned again and walked over to the Para carcass. He took a few bites, only taking what he absolutely needed. Darkness left the carass for Steeltalon, Sandstorm, and Shadowleaf. They were the ones who really needed it. Maybe I'll go hunting today... he growled, walking to his old sunny spot and laying down. Darkness yawned and layed his head on the ground, watching the jungle for anything of interest...

Goldfang was busy relaxing, he and Fatalis along with the others had reduced the enemy shadow raptors numbers with the help of Echo. Goldfang had shown the pack a number of numerous hiding places he found. Previously an Ultra Raptor pack had attacked them in their skirmishes on Midnight but they were soon dealt with. Unfortunately the lost several of their raptors too. Eventually spies serving midnight which were mostly Oviraptors and Troodons were stalking them and there was the urgent need to split up and so the Lone wolves agreed to scatter until it was right to regroup again. Also, he now was back in his home up in the mountain ridge. He began downhill once more and heard a noise nearby in the shrubs. He saw it was Fatalis....

scarback woke and saw that every pack member was in the cave. he looked at sharpclaw's nest and saw something that made him realize that sharpclaw would be worried once she woke up. sharpclaw's child was missing. scarback went to sharpclaw and rawhide and growled:"sharpclaw, rawhide. your son is missing."

Steeltalon and Silver woke to sunlight streaming into the root cave. Silver immediately ran to Darkness and started running around him in circles. Steeltalon shook her head, amused, and came out of the cave after Silver. The older female went to the para carcass and immediately tore a chunk from it, swallowing it hungrily.

Darkness smirked when he saw the small raptor so energetic. He still had some energy too. Darkness jumped up and got into an odd stance, smiling at Silver. He bolted to the other side of the clearing, still feeling the excitement from the day before.

RawHide and SharpClaw growled, and finally woke up. They didn't hear Scarback properly. "What did you say," RawHide growled.

Meanwhile, RawClaw was on the border of Crusher's territory. He encountered a sleeping compy on the way and went carefully passed it. This is new. Suddenly, he noticed something. There was a dark raptor playing with a hatchling. The young hatchling hid and watched the two carefully. Didn't he see that raptor before?

scarback realized they hadn't heard him properly. he growled to sharpclaw and rawhide again:"your son is missing. he must have wandered off while you were asleep." scarback knew they would be worried once they realized their son was truly missing.

SharpClaw glanced down to fine an empty nest, as well as small raptor tracks. Her eyes widened in fear, and she looked at RawHide. "Oh no, RawHide. He's too young to wander by himself! What do we.." She trailed off. "We have to go search for him! What if he's in danger right now, or hurt, or.." She snarled in frustration. "I swear, that little hatchling is going to get it when we find him!"

"Calm down, SharpClaw, easy," barked RawHide softly, trying to comfort his mate. "We'll find him, somehow."

DIablo had been finishing off his meal, yanking out the last bits of meat left, then leaving the skeleton on his resting rock. He walked around, feeling active, but he couldn't do much at all. Diablo lept back ontop of his resting rock and slept.

Sandstorm woke with a yawn, he was still lieing down next to steeltalon by the root cave he yawned "whoah.. I must of dozed off....." He could see Silver running around the place, and Darkness still looked hyper. Laziliy he got up and stretched. He walked over to the cave to find Shadow leaf still asleep, she must be exhasted after staying up al night with him. Sighing he he climbed up his tree on the top of the cave and relaxed on a branch...

RawHide and SharpClaw were about to head out to look for their son, but suddenly, SharpClaw stayed back and thought. Both her and RawHide were sleeping and the rest of the pack were up. She turned toward Scarback and snarled. "You," she hissed. "It's all your fault, you did this!" She started to stalk slowly toward the new raptor.

RawHide watched his mate and thought about it. He snarled angrily and started to help his mate. "You were up while we were sleeping. You're a new raptor. Plus, nobody else knew about RawClaw." He bared his teeth, ready to strike. He was backing him out into the open.

scarback growled:"wait! i didn't notice your son was missing until now! i was asleep all night and he may have left during the night! he may have found his way into the territory of a raptor that darkness is visiting!"

"You're lying," She snarled. "Lies, all lies!" She was on top of him and attacking him before the other raptors could even blink or turn their heads. She tried to bite his neck.

scarback kept sharpclaw from biting his neck. he kicked her off and growled at her:"wait! i wasn't being a sentry! i thought your son was simply going to go to the cave enterance!"

SharpClaw wouldn't listen to Scarback's pleas. She just wanted her son back and didn't trust this new raptor. "You just said you were sleeping," she growled and scratched him in the eye. "You're a lying son of a **** hawk!"

scarback grew angry at sharpclaw. he kicked her off again and snarled at her:"you yourself failed to request that someone keep an eye on your son! haven't you stopped to think of that, sharpclaw?!"

SharpClaw didn't listen. She jumped back up and continued to attack Scarback. The rage for this raptor was taking over her mind. All she could hear was lies coming from this raptor.

Other raptors started to crowd around the pair. A sentry decided to go get Blade and Exile. "There is a problem. SharpClaw and Scarback are fighting!"

Blade and Exile looked at each other and came rushing out of the cave. They snarled at the other pack members to let them pass through. There, they saw Scarback on the ground with SharpClaw trying to bite him. "SharpClaw, stop it," Blade snarled.

"He's lying," SharpClaw screeched. "A lying son of a **** hawk! Kick him out!" She still continued with the attacking.

scarback kicked sharpclaw off again and growled to blade:"i didn't see her son leave! no one told me to be a sentry! she should have had another raptor watch her son!" scarback quickly fled from the cave. so these raptors were as bad as his former pack. he snarled at sharpclaw:"your just as bad as they were!"

Blade charged after the Raptor, and leapt on it's back, and pinned it to the ground before calling the pack. he then put his killer claw to it's neck, ready to swing down if it dared to move. he stared at the Raptor curiously. he looked at the Raptor Sentry which had called him. The Sentry knew what he should do and retold the scene to him. Blade snarled "The way i see it, you have lied. first saying you saw him leave and think he's heading to Darkness, WHO, I migh add, you dont know, THEN you said you thought he was going to the cave entrance, and THEN claimed to be asleep and therefore INCAPABLE of knowing where he went and when. I see one way for you to save yourself from a quick, painful death. Show us where RawClaw is, take us to where you say he is, SHOW us Darkness, and TELL US how you found out about them. it's that, or we kill you for lying and potentially betraying the pack".

scarback growled to blade:"when i was in the territory of a lone female raptor, i saw the raptor known as darkness with a female raptor that lives alone. then, i saw that raptor again and he was talking to sharpclaw that he found a mate! it is possible that sharpclaw's son may have found his way into the territory of the female raptor! give me a chance to show you where the female's territory is!" he remebred where the female raptor's territory was.
