Silve chirped and ran after Darkness, catching up and running around the black raptor in circles before chirping again and running off toward the root cave. Steeltalon, however, had smelled something unfamiliar and was folowing the scent, her head held low and her neck arched aggressively. She found a young male hatchling and emitted a low growl.

The youngster's eyes trailed up to the eyes of a female adult raptor. He let out a chirp of, "Hello," and slowly started to step back. She looked angry. "M-My name i-is RawClaw," he stuttered as he stared at her.

Sandstorm, could by now remember what had happened the other day. He was sorry for scareing silver and switchblade and what he and darkness did was foolish, but, he didnt regret it trying to scare off green eye with darkness. He swore at the rex, leaned over the branch and growled "Hey darkness! get over here I wana talk to you about something...."

Darkness screeched playfully and chased after the hatchling, but stopped suddenly at the name "Rawclaw", ignoring Sandstorm for the moment.Rawclaw?! Darkness snarled, walking over to the hatchling. What are you doing away from the cave?! He snarled, worried about what Sharpclaw was feeling right now...

RawClaw was about to reply to the female raptor, but then Darkness came. He shook and stared at both raptors. "Well, I-I wanted to get out and explore! I t-thought it would be fun if I wandered away from the pack a-and it would be a learning experience for me." He looked at the ground after his explaination and waited for either of them to either scold him or tear him to pieces.

Sandstorm swore, he wanted to talk to darkness but he rolled off the branch and went to check out what was going on. he walked up to steeltalon and darkness and growled "Whats going o....." he stopped when he saw the hatchling and made a low hissed "oh..... not another orphan is it?"

Steeltalon stared at Darkness. "You know this hatchling?" she growled, relaxing slightly. Not a total stranger, then. "Hmm...they've probably already sent out a search party. It would be dangerous to try and send you back, for you and for us." She tilted her head to one side, thinking. "It's safer for you to stay here. But, I don't know how long it would take for your pack to find you." Her words were directed at RawClaw, though she looked at Darkness as she spoke, wondering if her suggestion was a safe idea.

Sandstorm was truely confused he growled "O....K..... he isnt related to you are steeltalon is he? because i never seen him in my life" After hearing steeltalons words he growled "No they might think we took him"

RawClaw blinked and stared at all three adults. He listened to Steeltalon's and Darkness' words and slowly nodded. Good, at least he wasn't going to be killed on the spot. He faintly wondered what the pack was doing. "Hey...I saw that you were playing w-with a hatchling." He wagged his tail eagerly.

Steeltalon suddenly had an idea. She didn't voice her thoughts however. She watched RawClaw nod as Silver ran over. The female hatchling's eyes widened and she bolted off, not giving anyone a chance to speak.

Sandstorm barked " Ok what the hell..... who is sharp claw?...Oh forget it im going back to my tree" He walked back and climbed the tree again. he lay acrossthe branch thinking trying to figure out what was going on

Silver didn't look back. She hid in the root caves, not intending to come out until the strange hatchling was gone. He looked familiar, like her older brother who had vanished with the rest of her pack.
Steeltalon muttered something under her breath and walked off in the direction Silver had taken. Something had spooked the little hatchling, and she intended to find out what.
