scarback had ideas how he and razor edge could avoid hunting with the pack. scarback quietly hissed to razor edge:"i have an idea of how we can avoid hunting with the pack. if we pretend we slept until the pack went on a hunt, we could leave and go on our own hunts." scarback knew that they would need to make it look very convincing because if it was made clear what he and razor edge planned to do about hunting, they could get in trouble.

Silver stared at Darkness calmly. "RawClaw," she answered. "And besides..." - her tone grew harsh - "...who are you to tell me I can't have a mate?"

Steeltalon got up, worried. "Darkness, it's not our decision," she murmured. She gently pushed Darkness to the ground and made sure he stayed down. "Rest. You're too injured to go looking for another fight." She stared at him, her expression loving mixed with a firm decision.

Silver sighed and started backing away. "That's all I had to tell you. Guess I should go...say hi to Switchblade for me."

Steeltalon nodded. "See you soon, Silver," she murmured. She looked up at the two new arrivals. "And who might you be?" she asked, getting defensive.

Silver nodded and dashed off, hoping that RawClaw was already waiting for her at the game trail.

"Right now, we need to help Blade and find him a place to stay" growled Exile.

RawClaw hurried home as fast as his legs could carry him. His heart was leaping with joy as he thought about Silver's declaration. I'll just be in and be out, he thought as he was finally there, staring at the enterence of the cave. He took a deep breath and entered. He barked out loud, trying to draw attention to himself. "I am leaving the pack to be with my new mate," he said proudly and ran up to his mother and father who were suprised, sad, and happy at the same time. "Thank you for raising me, mother and father, but it is my time to go now. I will come to visit, I promise." He nuzzled them and was about to dash off to meet with Silver, when suddenly, his father and mother both called out to him.

"We're proud of you," stated his father. RawClaw said nothing, but let out a joyful bark and ran off.

scarback nodded. it would be very good to avoid going on a hunt with the pack. he hissed to razor edge:"we also need to avoid making the pack suspicious. if we aren't careful, they may start asking us why we continue sleeping in."

"I hope not," she murmured. "He allowed RawHide and SharpClaw to stay when some whole ordeal happened with him. It's worth a shot."

Darkness sighed, knowing his comment would haunt him for a long time. A chance to talk to Silver, and he blew it. Darkness sighed, but saw the intruders. He looked at Steeltalon, knowing this was her territory. Darkness turned back and barred his teeth at the raptors, willing to kill them, despite his injuries.

Silver finally arrived at ther game trail and started pacing agitatedly. If darkness followed her, she'd have a real problem. She settled down to wait for RawClaw.

Steeltalon crouched down beside Darkness and stroked his shoulder with her snout gently. "It's Silver's choice," she murmured. She knew that they played no further part in Silver's decision. "Try to be happy for her...she's all grown up." She stood and growled at the intruders, "I asked you your names."

RawClaw shortly arrived, sliding to a stop and panting. "Well, I did it," he panted out. "We're finally free!"

Shadow Leaf and sandstorm watched the intruders carefully. then they both screeched. Showing them that they were surrounded. Shadow leaf felt ready to jump down and pull them out if she had too.

Darkness nodded at Steeltalon, wishing to talk more, but defending the territory was far more important. He sluggishly got up and continued to bare his teeth, not saying a word...

Standing up, Silver barked happily and nuzzled RawClaw joyously. She ran around him in a circle and stopped in front of him. "All that's left is to find a home," she murmured.

Steeltalon stalked forward until she was not two feet from the two raptors, a male and a female. "Are you going to answer me?" she growled, her eyes flashing dangerously.

Softfoot burst from her hiding spot towards the dyro. It looked up alarmed and turned to run, however another larger one crashed into it knocking it over. As it stood up Softfoot was already next to it, she bit onto its this neck, and broke it. It died instantly. She gave a slight purr at her luck. She dug into the carcass viciously.

Silver followed RawClaw, remembering the small cave she'd sheltered in. It was big enough maybe for two, but not for a family. And the burrow was a disaster waiting to happen if they raised a family there. She rolled her eyes and continued walking behind RawClaw, content with the silence and being beside him.

Steeltalon glanced at Shadowleaf, Sandstorm and Darkness, who had surrounded the two raptors on all sides while Steeltalon faced them. The half-mutant snarled, "State your names and why you're here." She stiffened, ready for a fight.

Darkness had enough. He limped forward and snarled, slashing at the air. Leave, now! he growled, moving slowly toward the raptors...

RawClaw was very content to be walking with Silver. He decided to break the silence. "How far do you think we should travel?" He was thinking it would be nice to get out of Crusher's territory and explore a new one, but first he wanted Silver's opinion.

With a screech Shadow leaf leapt of the tree onto the ground. realeaseing a low growl she stated walking to their left. Sandstorm growling hopped down. He started walking along to their right. They were going to do their job and help keep intruders out

Steeltalon stepped forward, preventing Darkness from going any farther. "Settle down," she growled in a low voice. "I'll handle this. If I need you, I'll bark." She gave Darkness a last warning glance and transferred the stare to Shadowleaf and Sandstorm, circling around to relay the message. "If I need you or Darkness, I'll bark," she growled so only they would hear her, circling back to her original position, facing the two raptors.

Silver looked at rawClaw and shrugged. "I guess until we find a place we like," she joked. "I remember a clearing with a pine tree about a mile from Steeltalon's cave. We could settle there."
