"Oh, right," Steeltalon growled platfully, hanging he head over the side of the branch. "Why's that?" She decided to bother Darkness today, just because she never did.

Sandstorm was feeling active and playful after Steeltalons little attack. He leapt off his branch and started sprinting. Just running, jumping over stuff, ducking under branches he leapt up onto a large fallen tree and started running along the surface of it. He jumped off it and continued running. It was a good way of shaking off his restlessness. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was going. A strange scent hit him, but before he could think about it, sombody rammed him from the side. They both were thrown to the ground but the other raptor was bigger and stronger than him. They easily kicked him away. He tried to get up but was kicked across the jaw. The attackers foot pressed against his neck as they prepared to slit his throat when they stopped. His head was pressed against the ground so he couldnt see the raptor who was attacking him. Then he heard a familiar voice exclaim "Sandstorm! Is that you?"

Fatalis looked at his sister, BlackStorm, as well as her mate HookFang and the youngsters. he barked "I'm going to go for a few hours. there's something i've been needing to do that's been bothering me for a while". the two Raptors nodded, and Fatalis walked out of the cave, and leapt into the nearest tree, and started to head for one of the Lone Wolf meeting spots...

Cloud burst through the trees to see the other rex. It was massive, much bigger than him. His heart was screaming at him to stop. The other rex was injured.... But he knew that this was his best chance of getting a territory. He roared loudly, challanging the other rex.

Because I listen so well...I never talk back to me.... Darkness growled, standing up on the branch. He backed up, keeping his gaze on Steeltalon. Darkness lept suddenly from his spot, landing on another branch. He swung around and bounded to another branch, this one higher in the tree, and on the oppisite side of the tree. Darkness layed down silently, snickering.

Steeltalon smirked and followed Darkness, resting on the branch above his. She asked, "Why?" She decided to be annoying today. The quick playfight with Sandstorm proved that.

Because I'm talking to me, afterall. If I'm already talking to myself, I can't talk back to myself....So there are no inturptions from me as I talk... Darkness growled, getting up again. He walked back again, walking off the branch. Darkness fell from the branch, moving close to the trunk of the tree. He grabbed onto the tree trunk, climbing up it to another branch. Darkness layed down again, smirking, but keeping an eye out for Steeltalon.

Steeltalon again rested on the branch above Darkness' and growled softly, "If you're talking to yourself in your mind, you can talk back." She snickered and hung her head over the side of the branch. "You know, if you talk to yourself you're normal. When you argue with yourself you're crazy."

Ah, buts thats where your wrong. I talk to myself in the open, to no one, it seems. Therefore I am not inturupted, and it makes for a better time to talk to myself then to others...of course...with exceptions.. Darkness growled, grinning at Steeltalon. And argueing with one's self does not mean your crazy, because it could be two opinions you have conflicting with eachother, and voicing themselves through yourself, thus making you argueing with yourself, switching from one opinion to the next. he growled, laying back against the tree.

"Which bring us back to the point that you're crazy," Steeltalon growled jokingly. She blinked at a compy that was fighting with another over a dead lizard.

Thats a matter of opinion... Darkness growled, standing up on the branch. Do you think I'm crazy, Steeltalon? he growled, moving closer to her. Darkness snickered slightly, but regained himself quickly.

Steeltalon tilted her head slightly to one side. "Depends," she admitted. She jumped onto the branch he was on, making it shudder. She snickered as she turned around and added, "You probably are but none of us would believe it until you acted crazy."

Sandstorm felt the presure on his neck ease of slightly, just enough for him to turn his head and look at who was attacking him. It was a female mutant raptor. She was black, with grey splodges, which had a metalic gleam to them as Steeltalon had discribed. He mumered "Softfoot?..." She took her leg off his neck and laughed, hissing "Sorry about that brother. I thought you were one of them lone wolves." then she helped him on to his feet. Shocked he hissed "What the? What are you doing here?" She winked and growled "Hiding. Walking around, ambushing old freinds." He didn't laugh at the joke. He snarled angrily "but but... You almost killed Shadow leaf!" She dipped her head and mumered "And I never forgave myself for it, and I never will. I will be haunted by that memory for the rest of my life...." Still confused and slightly angry he hissed "But, your... A mutant! How the hell did that happen?" She turned her head slightly and ran her claws over her neck touching the quills. Then she looked back at him with a blank expression and mumered "I am amn't I? Oh well I dont mind, Im not really sure but I think its from drinking from this lake near some human buildings. Thats where I usually stay when Im not wandering."
Sandstorm was still a bit shocked but what amazed him most was that she was apparently sane. He growled "Ok, but why haven't you said anything to us, why didnt you come for a visit." She shrugged and growled "I was scared of how you and Shadow leaf would re-act. Aswell, I didn't want to remember the past, I have decided on a new future. I was actually going to visit Steeltalon for some advice but.... I just never got around to it." Sandstorm shook himself out of the trance and they started talking about what they had been doing since the split......

Well...depends, as you said... Darkness growled, walking closer to her. ...It depends on what you think is "crazy"... he growled, smirking at her. Darkness snickered lightly, still keeping his balance on the branch.

Darkness froze, remembering what Shadow Leaf told him. I...Didn't...I mean...I'm...sorry...I mean... he growled, looking around wildly.

Steeltalon snickered. She jumped from the branch and lifted her chin triumphantly. "I win!" she barked, walking off laughing quietly.

Silver snickered. "Looks like she won that argument," she purred quietly.

Darkness glared at the departing raptor, but payed her no mind. He layed down again, staring blankly at the ground below. Darkness made a low growl and layed his head down, watching two compies fight over some meat from his branch.

Steeltalon curled up in a patch of sunlight and sighed contentedly. She rested until the four hatchlings decided to see who could chirp louder, causing Steeltalon to open one eye to watch them.

Silver sighed and closed her eyes, tired. She wanted to forget about the humans, but it was like a nightmare that haunted her.

a roar interrupted his thoughts, and he looked up to see a Rex, which, from it's behaviour, obviously was challenging him for territory. a booming territorial roar came as Crusher stood to his full height, and snarled at it...
