She grunted acknowledging him. It made sense, that and after their preveious meeting so long ago, she doubted he was one to bear grudges. She noticed the blood on her own claws and started licking them aswell. She barked "So what was your quarrel with those three?"

Fatalis looked at the three dead raptors. he finally hissed "I dont know. i felt like i was being watched, and jumped into the trees. they showed up, and i landed behind them, asking what it was they wanted. then...they attacked me. however, as the first one lunged at me, i heard it hiss the word "Pack-Killer" at me. what it meant, i dont know. but i doubt that's the last i'll see of them...especially now that these...are dead. whatever's chasing me will only become more determined to find me". Fatalis had finally finished what was on the compy, and threw it into a bush, before licking his claws clean of the Compy's blood...

She growled lightly and then barked quietly "hmm, I suspected that it was just a random fight. Now I have their blood on my claws. Would there be any chance that they were working alone? If they saw me help you then I think I am in danger of being targeted aswell..." She shrugged and started licking the blood off again.

Fatalis hissed "Well, before i revealed myself, i looked around. i couldn't see or smell any other Raptors nearby, so i doubt it. still, chances are they'll be wondering the same thing. if someone helped me kill these three, what's to say more wont help me? they'd be worried"...

Softfoot nodded idly not really caring much about the subject. She paused and growled "Actually, Fatalis, to you meet much Mutants around? Because it seems where ever I go, Im treated as a monster, and something to fear even before I talk."

Fatalis hissed "Well, to be quite honest, there are many mutants around. most of the ones that have given mutants the filthy reputation you were labled with are dead. not many of THEM are left. several of my father's pack members were mutants of the bad kind, but they aren't alive to do that anymore. Crusher took care of the largest mutant pack on the island, whose reputation for treachory and brutality was feared. of the mutants i know now, you, Steeltalon, Echo and Shadowfang, my sisters Blackstorm and Bloodclaw, my two brothers and HookFang, Blackstorm's mate are all half mutants. my father is a half mutant. but none of them are as malicious as the ones who have given them their reputation. i can be considered a "half mutant" myself, although not because of the lake, like other half mutants". his tail swished to the side slightly as he said this, and he watched for another Compy to show up, feeling hungry...

Sandstorm was abit more confident now. But he couldnt shake the feeling that if he let go of Steeltalon that he would just fall to the bottem and drown. He did his best to convince himself that the water was safe and that he would float in it. But it didnt work.

Softfoot continued to lick her claw. Intressted in what he was saying. Then she remembered Rawclaw. About how at first he had acted like Needle but then he started to trust her after a bit of talking. She paused again and mumered "Thats why I wanted the lone wolves freindship. I was hopeing that they would back me up convincing others that I wasn't what they assumed me to be. So much for that plan. But I have other freinds who will back me up if needed. Anyway, I only find it a problem with stronger raptors who feel they could take me on. Others either run away or give me a chance to talk."

Fatalis grinned. "Well, it's a good thing you're stronger than most Raptors on the island then. still, he was one of very few Lone Wolves who behaved like that, and one of the known skilled Raptors. he has a reputation for being fast and lethal. that's gone now though. i could help get you in with them, but for now, i'm living in a cave not too far from here, with my sister Blackstorm, her mate HookFang and their hatchlings. you're welcome to stay with us, if you wish". Fatalis swung his claw down at a Compy which had made the mistake of coming to investigate the remains of the compy on the ground near Fatalis' feet. the bits that had not been thrown into the bush. he picked it up, and bit on it's head while it was still in shock, killing it instantly. he then started to eat while he waited for SoftFoot's reply...

Largefang continued his walk across the plains. He scanned the herd for a suitable target and noticed an old bull at the end of the herd. The big animal was also being hunted by the other gigas and they too wanted it for a meal. Largefang started off by drawing the adult away from the herd by roaring and snapping. The old bull bellowed and he swished his tail back and forth and stamped his feet up and down. Largefang bellowed at the dinosaur. Over in the distance more Sauroposeidons arrived. Apatosaurus was no where as they were on their way onto the plains...

She laughed slightly and growled "No thanks. I have no intention of joining up with the lone wolves after that expeirance. But as an ally, that would be very usefull, thanks. Say your staying with your sister?" She gestured towards the three bodies "In that case you should watch out for "their" freinds. But if he did say "pack-killer" chances are you already killed the rest of his freinds, or had something to do with their death. So I wouldnt worry about any others."

Goldfang knew he was getting closer to Fatalis now. He barked out loud "Fatalis! It is me Goldfang! I need to tell you something!" He cried out. He would hope Fatalis was able to hear...

green eye patrolled his territory for half an hour before he was satisfied that there was nothing hiding or trying to enter. he wasn't going to take any chances after the time that darkclaw had been alive. green eye returned to his nest and saw that his mate and son were eating what was left of the front of the anatotitan. he began to eat the tail of the dead tyrannosaur sized herbivore. he would visit steeltalon later this day. for now, he was hungry and wanted to rest first. after he ate the tail, green eye settled down three feet from the dead anatotitan and began to close his dark green eyes. inn a few minutes, green eye was asleep.

Fatalis nodded. "After a rather long hunt to kill off the members of my father's corrupted, manipulative pack, we split up. my father is a Lone Wolf now, my brothers and my sister BloodClaw are off together getting ready for the lives of loners, or otherwise searching for a pack, and my sister needed somewhere to lay her eggs, so we found a cave for her and HookFang to stay, and i stayed with them to help guard the eggs. and now, im just with them until the youngsters are old enough to leave, and then im off on my own again. a bit uncomfortable for me, but still, it's nice to be with my sister, like old times. while we're still in a group i think it wouldn't hurt to have another Raptor with us. we'd back you up if you need it, and in return, perhaps you could help with the hunting?". Fatalis had nearly skeletonised the Compy when he heard the barking of a familiar Raptor. Fatalis' eyes were reduced to slits. he didn't feel like seeing THAT Raptor again so soon. while all the others in his little group stuck together, he went off and killed his own father. he looked at SoftFoot, waiting to see her reaction...

Goldfang knew Fatalis was not answering to his calls. He decided then that Fatalis had been under a lot of stress and needed some distance. The message was not to be forgotten though. He thought then it would be better to visit him later. Goldfang turned to Norsefang."Looks like my cousin is busy. He is there though but not interested right now. He's not answering my calls so I think its best we leave him be. I'm hungry anyway, what food is there to eat here i wonder. Hopefully Iguanodon, I need a challenge!" He hissed. Norsefang nodded...

She was suprised at the deal, but it was a good one. She didn't really need that much help, but the main draw was that she would be on the road of proving herself as a person. In all, she would have three raptors who respected her and knew she was a good raptor. The more people who thought of her that way the better. She decided she would accept for now but before she could answer she heard the bark. She frowned wondering who it was and hissed "Who is that? Im geussing you know him..."

Fatalis nodded. "Goldfang...the one i discovered was my cousin recently. he was part of the group that i had rallied to help take care of the Raptors in my father's old pack...and left to hunt down his own father"...

She narrowed her eys slightly and hissed "Was his job done, or did he dessert you?...." She scented the air lightly. There were two raptors out there. But it was no concern of hers, unless they approached she wouldn't give them another thought.

Fatalis hissed "The latter. i had asked him to help keep an eye out for possible attackers while i was busy, and, after a small attack by a predator that was soon silently dispatched, he disappeared"...

Goldfang was reluctant to spend some time with his cousin but for now it would have to wait. Plus he needed to relay the message onto him as well. He and Norsefang headed toward a small area neraby that was open. Here a herd of Iguanodons grazed among the trees. Goldfang smiled...

Softfoot nodded Idly. Her tail flicked causally as she thought about the conversation. She remembered Fatalis's deal and she growled "and about your little "deal" I think that sounds fair..."
