green eye growled to steeltalon:"it has been so long since i last saw her. now she has a mate? it seems i missed alot while i didn't see her. which direction should i go to find the area where she lives?" green eye hadn't heard the name rawclaw before. the only other raptor he knew with claw in its name was the now dead darkclaw.

BlackStorm hissed "Well, i've known alot of raptors in the past, close friends, who have fallen fictim to whatever is in those lakes, becomnig a mutant, and then going insane after taking a liking to it. i became a victim to it myself at one point, when i had got seperated from my family in one of our many moves of territory. i was taunted by a Raptor who seemed to enjoy scaring others into thinking that they would be doomed because of the lake"...

"About a mile in that direction," Steeltalon growled, gesturing in the direction Silver and Rawclaw had gone.

Softfoot laughed loudly and hissed "Yes thats the same lake I drink from. That raptors name is Storm Claw. He is annoeying but he knows alot of intresting stuff. He is actually why I want to explore the Island so much. Did you actally drink from the lake in the end?" She was slightly confused. Blackstorm didnt look like a mutant.

green eye nodded and headed in the direction that steeltalon had gestured. it took green eye an hour to finish the mile long walk. the time it took for him to get to the area was the same amount of time it took green eye to reach steeltalon's territory by walking. when he arrived, he saw a clearing wiht a pine tree in the center and a stream running along the edge of the forest, just as steeltalon had described the area. green eye picked up the scent of silver and the scent of an unkown raptor. green eye searched for three minutes and he saw silver and another raptor together. green eye appraoched silver and growled:"hello silver."

RawClaw watched the strange new rex carefully and looked at Silver with question in his eyes. Was this rex safe or was it a threat to their home. It seemed to know Silver well.

Silver jumped slightly and turned around, seeing Greeneye. "Greeneye," she barked. "Been a long time, hasn't it?"

[Iceking]

green eye nodded and growled to silver:"it has been a long time. steeltalon tells me you have found a mate by the name of rawclaw. who is this raptor that is with you?" green eye saw that silver looked bigger than the first time he saw her. he was also happy that silver had found herself a mate.

Sandstorm walked over to the waters edge and sat down in it, cooling down. He could see redtooth looking angry at something on the river bank. It was strange... Redtooth was up-beat and happy most of the time. Sandstorm stood up and walked over slowly hissing "Redtooth..... Are you ok?"

Redtooth hissed, "I was just thinking. After what Steeltalon said about her past, it reminded me of my family. And Raven's little glance at me didn't help."

[HorseGal]

RawClaw's gaze hardened on the rex. "I am RawClaw," he growled. Did this rex think he was just some other raptor hanging around with Silver?

Sandstorm nodded and hissed "Your familiy? If your ok with it, would you tell me what happened to them?"

BlackStorm made a toothy grin as she hissed "Well, i had no choice since i was dying of thirst, but once i was rid of that, i left it behind. but that Raptor did tell me something that wasn't true. that you need to drink more of it once you've started. my father marked it as false, when he told me that he himself was a product of the lake. so after nearly 6 weeks of sneaking out of the nest to take a drink from that lake, then returning, i stopped, realising that raptor had lied to me. i nearly gutted him for it, but my father made me see that dirty reptiles like him weren't worth my time"...

green eye looked at the unkown raptor and heard it tell him its name was rawclaw. he also noticed that rawclaw was giving him a hardened gaze. green eye growled to the raptor:"i'm not going to harm you, rawclaw. i simply came by to visit silver. " green eye wanted to make sure that rawclaw understood he wasn't going to be a threat.

Softfoot narrowed her eyes with a sly grin and hissed "Really now? Well I don't mind drinking from it. My only problem is that normal water is just so boring after it. So when I drink elsewhere I always feel like going back to there. But Storm Claw is going to have a nasty supprise when i get back." She looked into the jungle for a few seoconds and then turned back to Blackstorm hissing "Do you think I should try stop drinking from it? Im not really sure what to do."

Redtooth growled, "OK. it might get my mind off of it. Anyway, what happened was it was me and my brother. I was small for my age, and my brother never let up about it. He was cruel. But the last straw was when, to get rid of me and have no more competition, he claimed to our parents that I was useless and would only be a burden, so they kicked me out. The only reason I survived was because I was always on the move and never let predators see me. I grew up to a normal sized Spino becuase of that. I still despise my brother, though. Personally, I hope he's dead." He claws dug into the ground whenever he mentioned his brother at all.

RawClaw was still tense. "I can see that," he mumbled and lay down beside Silver. "Are you satisfied with your visit then? If so, then you can be on your way."

Sandstorm nodded gently. He remembered when he lost his family and growled "Actually, just a minute after my family left behind they were all crushed. A galimimus stampede caused by some massive rex roaring his head off in a fight." Him surviving that day was another thing he owed to Shadow leaf, as did everyone in his old pack.....

Redtooth hissed, "It seems we all have family problems. But the only problem with me was my brother Thrasher."

Sandstorm noded again and barked lightly "Well look at it this way, you didn't come out any worse for it, no?"
