Softfoot looked into the jungle breifly before grunting "If I have surrivived on my own this long I dont think there is much more to learn. What I would like to know is the odd trick or two on hunting larger prey, and maybe climbing trees. I can't move very fast through them..."

Amberclaw hissed, "I think not, Steeltalon. I'll never pay at all!"[i]

the water was still and calm. the only things in the water were fish. an old male velociraptor came to the lake to drink. it waded further into slightly deeper water and still nothing moved except for the fish, which moved away from the raptor. the raptor lowered its head and began to drink from the lake. the raptor failed to notice the fish suddenly fled in different directions. a shape in the water moved and was quickly coming at the raptor. the raptor continued to drink, not aware of the beast in the water approaching it and did not know that this would be the last time it drank water. suddenly, the beast in the water lunged at the raptor and a crocodile like head snatched the smaller carnivore up. an orange sail broke the surface of the water and the tip of a large powerful tail broke the surface as well. the raptor screeched loudly and tried to escape the jaws of the spinosaur that had ambushed it. the spinosaur returned to the depths of the lake and the screeching of the raptor stopped just as suddenly as it had begun. blood floated to the surface of the water, but there seemed to be nothing there that could have killed the raptor. orange sail had managed to ambush the raptor and by the time the raptor knew he was there, it was too late.

BlackStorm grinned. "Climbing trees will take exercise. Fatalis WAS leaping right into them, instead of climbing. and what he's doing with the youngsters now is preparing them to be able to do just that when they're older. i remember when he was young, when i was a hatchling, i used to watch him leap up and down repeatedly at Echo's commands. our eldest brother, Echo is the most skilled hunter in the pack. he is also one of the few who can easily leap into trees. Fatalis has mastered it in his years of being alone, but as far as pack raptors go, Echo is still ahead of most. as for hunting bigger prey, it'll need practice and concentration. he's done things with prey that shock us even now. none of us have been able to successfully bring down a sub-adult Triceratops. i think he knows something that would have even the larger predators stumped. recently i overheard him telling our father about a way to intimidate larger foes. and i've heard he's managed to scare off a pack of 5 Albertosaurs using that technique"...

[TyrannoTitan]

Darkness smirked at the mutants, getting up and walking over to them. Biggest mistakes of your pathetic lives... he snarled, eyeing the raptors. Darkness smirked again, moving back. Just a matter of time... he snarled, laughing slightly. Darkness swung around, walking over to a spot in a corner, his eyes, slits once more. He layed his head on the ground, staring hatefully at the mutants, waiting for them to slip up...

Amberclaw walked over to Darkness and lifted her foot, as if to slash him with her toe claw. She hissed, "One more word out of you, and I'll make you die slowly and painfully."

Softfoot narrowed her eyes and snarled "Well... It seems Fatalis isn't all that he makes out to be. I wouldn't have thought him to be so.... reckless... or stupid. I really dont see the point in risking ones life in attacking a triceratops which you will only eat a small part of and then move on....." She looked back into the jungle, slightly suprised at hearing this about Fatalis

[Hopeflower]

Steeltalon's eyes widened in alarm as she ran over to Darkness and crouched beside him, murmuring urgently, "Darkness, don't! These raptors are from Riptide's old pack." Fear tinted her voice, something that was rare for her. "They wiped out my family...I don't want to see that again." She shuddered and glared at Amberclaw. "Leave him alone!" she barked. "Your fight is with me, not him."

The two mutants beside Raven and Amberclaw remained silent but watchful. Raven smirked. "Give up, black raptor," he hissed. "You cannot win."

[Legendary Elite]

OoC: As I see it there is a very evil monster out there that's killing the large predators...Gulp!

Largefang headed off home. He would return later to the plains and kill another Argentinosaur. He wondered how Crusher was doing...

Amberclaw elbowed Steeltalon, knocking her down. She growled, "One more word, I dare you. I'll kill Darkness, the hatchlings, and all your pathetic friends!"

[Hopeflower]

Steeltalon glared at Amberclaw, her eyes blazing with hatred. She seemed to be saying, "Touch my hatchlings and you die in the most painful way possible!" The gray-clawed female hissed quietly, all her hatred for the female in front of her in that low sound. Even the air felt scorched.

[The Kingpin]

Blackstorm hissed "that was back when he was part of our pack. before we were seperated. it was a little test to see if the rumours some Raptors were spreading about the leader's second oldest son were true. that he truely was a terrible hunter. as before that, he had only been in a single hunt, and with a pack our size, most were focused on their own young. little did we know the same raptors who spread those rumours wanted him out. they nearly killed the pack because of it". her voice was filled with venomous hate as she spoke of what she had only just realised a few weeks ago, after Fatalis had wiped out all but one of the Raptors responsible for it...

Amberclaw's eyes widened, but then turned back to mormal. She hissed, "That's better. Raven, what do we do with them now?"

Shadow leaf laughed, showing she was awake. It was a cold and twisted laugh. She was grogy and wasnt feeling alright at all. She snarled hatefully "Nobody..... Wins.... brother..... EVERYBODY...... Loses...." She then tried to stand up but toppeled straight away, leaning onto Sandstorm for support.

Softfoot dipped her head and mumered "Im sorry to hear that. My pack split up aswell. We all took our differnet routes. I chose to live alone."

[Hopeflower]

Raven stalked forward, smirking. "Steeltalon lost her family once," he hissed. "Make her suffer. Kill her mate and hatchlings in front of her." His smirk broadened. "And when you're done with that, kill her friends."

Amberclaw grinned, hissing, "Perfect. I'll deal with the hatchlings first. That should be fun." She walked over to the hatchlings and readied her toe claw. She growled, "Remember this the rest of your short life, Steeltalon! You'll regret messing with our pack!"

[Legendary Elite]

As Largefang headed back to his nesting site, something came in front of him. A group of Carcharodontosaurs, 4 of them. One rammed the giga into the ground. They slashed him and bit him. The 11metre long carnviores were really pumelling Largefang. Largefang got back up and roared at the attackers. "Flee Carcharodontosaurs! You sharks are trying to eat a bigger shark, big mistake. Now scram before I kill you all instantly!!!" He roared with blood trickling down from wounds on his face and leg. The Carcharodontosaurs ignored this and roared back before one of them charged at Largefang. Largefang brought his tail around in a powerful swing, striking the neck of the one that was about to try and ram him again. Another one came at the side and bit down on his right foot. Then a third came Carcharodontosaur came for Largefang's neck and Largefang slashed the opposer with his claws straight at the neck before delivering a fatal bite. He ignored the pain the Carcharodontosaur was doing on his leg. Quickly he seized the 4th and last Carcharodontosaur who was coming from the side and using his mouth, threw the predator onto the ground and did the the same with the other one who had been gnawing his leg which crashed head on into the Carcharodontosaur. The two of them had their necks broken. They were dead and Largefang let out a triumphant roar...

Darkness let out a howl of laughter, standing up again. You mutants are over-rated, gaining your skills through that vile liquid, when I have gained my skills through years of practice... he snarled, walking forward. Pathetic spineless beasts that plague the lifes of others....well...your dealing with something out of your legue now... Darkness snarled, his tone calm. Touch me, my mate, or my hatchlings...and die...I have told you this before, Raven... he snarled, looking straight at Raven. Darkness turned and walked toward Amberclaw, his face, emotionless. Bringing that foot down will be the last thing you'll ever do, mutant... he growled, his voice barely a whisper. I may die from your lackys...but your death will be satisfieing enough for me... Darkness growled, his voice still only a whisper.

[The Kingpin]

BlackStorm hissed "no need to be sorry. im actually happy our pack was split. finding that almost the whole pack was made up of manipulative fork-tongued snakes makes me glad im not in a pack anymore. im glad that Fatalis ripped them apart one by one, scaring them all and fearing for their lives as the occasional unlucky Raptor woke up with the blood of it's packmate all over it. and im glad our family and my mate were the only survivors. im glad i'll never have to look at those treachorous lizards in the face again. and personally, i think a life alone could give new opportunities. me and HookFang are planning to either live by ourselves or to make a pack ourselves when our children are old enough to leave"...

Amberclaw growled to Darkness, "That's not going to happen, since you'll be the first to die instead! Raptors!" Three raptors surrounded Darkness and hissed at him. Amber claw raised her handclaw and slashed it across Darkness' chest before he could react, knocking down. She pinned him by the neck with her foot and hissed, "Goodbye, Darkness."
