Crusher led his son to a small plain, with a large number of herbivores and predators he had never seen before. Crusher growled "This, Hunter, is where i used to hunt. it supplied me with everything i needed before i started exploring. now, im going to teach you how to hunt Therizinosaurus". Hunter was very interested. he growled "What is that?". Crusher growled "It's a herbivore, but far from usual. im not even sure it's a herbivore and not a predator. i didn't watch them long enough to know how their lifestyle is, but i do know one thing; NEVER get in the way of those claws. they're death to any predator that comes near them". Hunter growled "Then how are we going to kill it?". Crusher growled "Dont worry....i'll teach you"....
Crusher waited for a short while, watching quietly, and focusing on the ones that looked weak. no luck. he looked at one that was straying away from the rest of it's group. it was an adult, and was healthy. Crusher growled "That ones coming close. the best way to kill one, is to scare it, or distract it. im going to go around the clearing, and when you see me on the other side, roar at it, but dont expose yourself. it'll look at you, then i'll charge at it, it'll be startled, and turn around. when it does, lunge at it. there's a chance that one of us may be hurt, but if we time it right, it should try and run. THAT'S when we kill it. we attack it from behind". Hunter was surprised by his father's planning skills. usually, the prey he went after wasn't protected, and didn't need planning. Now Hunter knew that just because Crusher didn't use a plan in most of his kills, didn't mean he didn't know how to hunt the more heavily protected ones.
Crusher growled "Get ready. when you see me on the other side, start with the plan". Hunter nodded, and Crusher started to sneak around the clearing, walking as stealthily as he could, even though Therizinosaurs had rather poor hearing; he didn't want to lose his chance at teaching Hunter how to hunt it in a group. later, he'd teach him how to hunt one alone. he arrived on the other side, and Hunter made a weak grunt at the target. it turned at him, and moved forward. then Hunter grunted again, increasing the Therizinosaur's interest in him. once it was completely focused on the spot where it thought the sound was coming from, Crusher came out, slowly at first, then at a slow run, then at an all out charge. the sound made it turn around, and Hunter did the same as his father. the two charged at the Therizinosaurus, and it panicked. it started to run with it's rather strange leg design. it wasn't very fast. Crusher continued chasing it, and Hunter tried to out run it, Crusher roared "Slow down!". at that, Hunter immediately slowed down, just in time to avoid a potentially lethal swipe from the herbivore's massive claws. Crusher lunged, and bit down on it's spine. the bite was fatal. it died, and dropped to the ground and was crushed by Crusher's foot as he slowed down and regained his balance. he growled "Doing what you did can get you killed. im amazed by their balancing abilities, even when running. i saw a Giga nearly the size of Grunt get killed because of that mistake. the Therizinosaur stabbed it in the stomach, and ripped it open. and it continued to run, while the Giga was on the ground in extreme pain, roaring as loud as it could and dying when a Carcharadontosaurus came to the scene, hungry and looking for an easy meal". Hunter looked at his father in awe....a Giga his size, killed by that claw handed herbivore. Crusher growled "now...let's eat". the 2 ripped into the Therizinosaur's hide hungrily, starving and tired.....
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
