Steeltalon shivered when she remembered the pack's territory the last time she'd been there; blood-covered, reeking of death and her own fear scent, and Riptide's pack beginning to settle there. She shook her head for the third time to get rid of the mental images. "The safest thing is to stay here and wait it out," she murmured, eyes clouding with pain at the thought of returning to her family's home. "I don't think I could leave...much less bring myself to return...there..." She shuddered again at the memory, willing it to go away.

Crusher went into an all out charge, tearing a path of destruction through the forest as he neared the Giga...

Hunter was barely keeping up with his father, going into an all out sprint, arriving at a clearing, where his father was staring at the Giga whose death he wanted so badly...

Fatalis nodded. "No problem" he growled, his breath still a bit heavy from the movement he had to do to get down there...

Darkness arrived next to Hunter, staring at the behemouth infront of them. He snarled to himself, jumping into the nearest tree, laying down on a branch. Darkness eyed the two predators, awaiting the fight to begin.

Sandstorm looked at her suprised and hissed "Our old territory? Whats wrong with that? Last I heard about it, the rex who took it over was killed, his killer died recently enough aswell." He could remember when they went there, chasing Softfoot down when she was still insane. The territory had smelled blank and empty.

Softfoot managed a grunt. She didnt want to talk, she was embarassed and felt like jumping off the tree to her death, just to avvoid talking to fatalis after that.

Steeltalon sighed, knowing she'd have some explaining to do. "Not your old territory...my family's. That's the only other place I'd feel safe...but...that's where Riptide killed them all as well. I could never go back there...even if I have lived there before." She rested her head beside one of her tiny hatchling's and sighed again.

Raven growled at the sudden disturbance and climbed hastily onto a low tree branch, still not feeling very well. He was curious as to what it was, but if he dissapeared, everyone might think he was plotting again. Obediently, he stayed in the clearing unless Steeltalon gave him permission to hunt, patrol the borders or eat. The only things he didn't need permission on were sleeping and getting a drink.

Silver gently uncovered the eggs once she arrived back in their territory, which bordered Steeltalon's. She had been nervous about leaving the nest, fearful of curious egg-eating creatures, but the light covering had done as they had hoped. The scent had been well-disguised and the nest was safe.

Sandstorm stared blankly at the wall and mumered "Oh...." Steeltalon seemed really saddened just by the mention if her old home so in an atempt to comfort her he barked "Well look at it this way, chances are we won't have to go anywhere. Its unlikely that Crusher will come here and even if he does he probley wont be able to find us."

Crusher could see LargeFang laying on the edge of a clearing, resting by a lake. a booming rage roar came from the massive Tyrannosaur as he charged at LargeFang, who jerked awake and backed away, jaws wide in an instinctive defensive stance. Crusher lunged forward as the Giga tried to dodge. Crusher's ram met it's mark on the Giga's left side, nearly hitting it head on. the Giga was knocked aside, Crusher skidding to a hault. a booming roar echoed across the plains as Crusher turned around and started to hack at the Giga's stomach, before getting kicked back. Crusher snarled in irritation as he reangled himself for an attack as the Giga stood up. "You shouldn't have abused my trust, LargeFang. now you'll learn the Price of betrayal!" snarled Crusher as he angled himself correctly for his next attack...

Hunter stared wide eyed. "LargeFang has no idea what's about to happen to him" he grunted, in shock as to what he could tell his father was about to do...

Fatalis could tell SoftFoot was probably not in the mood to talk for a little while. he decided he'd lay down on the branch, hooking his claws to it so that he wouldn't slip at a sudden movement...

Switchblade tensed her aching mucsles upon hearing the tremendous, but thankfully fairly far off roars. She tried to do as Redtooth instructed and rolled stiffly into a crouch. She tried to stand, but her legs felt weak. She took a step and collapsed, falling heavily into the grass with a thud. "I don't think I can do it," she growled, her voice grainy from the effort. "I can barely stand up." She knew she shouldn't try that again. If she hurt herself any more, it would be the end of her...

Steeltalon nodded, cringing when the roar sounded again. This time it seemed to be farther away, but it was hard to tell. "Sounds like he's dealing with more than one intruder," she murmured, glancing at her hatchlings to make sure they weren't too scared.

Sandstorm nodded in agreement and snarled "I'm just thankfull that I, nor any of my freinds are near any of those intruders.... By the sound of it he is moving away from us rather than towards us, so we are completely safe" He was trying to remain positive and keep everyones mood up.

Softfoot looked at Fatalis again and winced in embarassment, picturing herself plumiting through the branches. How could she have been so stupid?

Darkness let out a growl of amusement, his eyes still glued to the fight. There will be nothing left of that creature... he growled, grinning at Hunter before turning back to the fight.

Raven kept an eye on Switchblade, concern and sympathy working their way into his expression. He gave a quiet growl of condolence, still watching the little thing. "Brave little creature," he hissed to himself, closing his leaf-green eyes.

the Giga got up, and looked at Crusher, now recovering from his fear, the frightened look on it's face vanishing as it began to fight back. it snarled and tried charging, but Crusher was prepared. he lunged low and grabbed it by the leg, and pulled back, making it trip and land on it's back, Crusher thrashing wildly. a loud sickening crunching snap was heard, and afterwards, a screech of agony. Crusher bit down, and his jaws connected, and he tore a chunk out of the Giga's leg, the bone going along with the flesh. Crusher was in a litteral blood rage, tearing and shredding at the Giga's body mercilessly. he ripped the flesh off of it's leg, a loud roar of agony sounding in his ears, only making him snarl with the pleasure of making it suffer. he bit down on the Giga's arm, and tore it off completely, leaving a hole where it's arm used to be, blood spraying out of it like a fountain. Crusher then moved towards it's side, his legs now completely soaked in the Giga's blood, as he prepared to begin another wave of torture before he finally ended this insignificant parasite's life...

Hunter shuddered noticably at the sight of what his father was doing to the LargeFang. he was massacring him! at this rate, LargeFang would be nothing more than a pile of flesh before long...

Fatalis, feeling an uncomfortable silence and sensing what seemed to be....embarrasment in the larger Raptor, decided to say something that wouldn't have anything to do with what had just happened. he hissed "Hungry?"...

Darkness cringed, looking away for a split second, before turning back to stare at the fight, growling in amusement again. That Giga is going to be nothing by the time that brutes done with him! Darkness growled, looking toward Hunter. No offence... he snarled, realizing that Hunter was the brute's son...

Hunter glared at Darkness for a moment, then calmed. "None taken" he grunted, before refocusing on the fight...

Crusher snarled "THIS!" as he put his foot on the Giga's side. "IS WHAT HAPPENS!" he snarled, this time louder than the previous, as he dug his toe claws into the body until they desappeared beneath the flesh. "...TO TRAITORS!" he roared as he dragged the foot back, leaving 3 wide bloody gashes. the gaps joined as one when Crusher brought his jaws down to it's side and tore the flesh off of it's flanks, gaining another roar of agony. Crusher's eyes ablaze, his jaws glistening in the glow of the sun, glowing an intimidating red colour, matching the colour which covered the front half of his snout right now. "I hope for everyone's sake that you have no family or children to take your place. you are a pest no one will miss. Traitors deserve death, and now, you, have met, YOUR END!" roared Crusher, his eyes glowing with hateful rage. he then locked his jaws on the neck of the Giga, and bit down with tremendous force, the bite destroying the neck bones and slashing all the arteries, veins and the windpipe, killing the Giga instantly. he got up, and stomped on the Giga's skull, reducing it to a bloody unrecognisable pulp, before turning back to face Hunter, and roaring victoriously...

Hunter watched the last few moments of the fight in absolute shock. what scared him was that right afterwards, Crusher turned around and looked him right in the eye before roaring. a shudder ran down his spine as his father's piercing, bone chilling gaze met his shocked eyes...

Fatalis made a slight chuckle before adding "it was only a lack of awareness. it happens to all of us sometimes. i just happened to be lucky enough to be focused and alert when it happened. otherwise i would've been on the ground. anyway, there's a small clearing nearby where we can probably get ahold of a Gallimimus. there's also a stream nearby where we can get some fish, and we could just stick to compies"...

Softfoot smiled faintly and hissed "Well thats you'r point veiw, ok then lets head for the Galis." She got to her feet and leapt over to the trunk, from there she started jumping down, from branch to brach, occasionally going back to the trunk. When she reached the low branches she leapt off landing in the grass with a soft thud and waited for Fatalis to lead the way.

Darkness let out a bark of amusement, jumping down from the tree, walking toward the massive Tryannosaur. He saw that Hunter and Crusher were staring at eachother, and he shrugged. Father - Son moment, I guess... Darkness growled, walking toward the destroyed remains. He eyed the Giga's corpse, finally taking a bite from the meat. Darkness swung around, walking back toward Crusher and Hunter. Very nice Crusher...Very nice indeed... he growled, walking beside the massive Tyrannosaur, grinning.

Crusher looked at Darkness for a moment, and snarled at him, as if warning him he was NOT in the mood. the compliments were ignored at the moment, his anger still lingering over his mood. he growled "Hunter. why aren't you at the nest?". Hunter tried to say him, but couldn't find the words. after a moment of silence, he growled "I wanted to make sure nothing unexpected happened while you were fighting". Crusher snarled "Your mother, mate and the kids could be getting attacked right now. do you realise that? get back there and stay there until i get back". Hunter lowered his head, and returned to the nest, knowing it would be madness to argue now. Crusher stared at Darkness for a moment, and snarled "As for you, what you saw here is because of an act of betrayal. i suggest you keep my warning to you on attacking in mind"...

Fatalis leapt from the branch he was on, to another one, and then stuck his claws into the trunk and scraped down, and then kicked himself off of it and landing on his feet when he was low enough. he hissed "Let's go", and then began to walk towards the small Gallimimus herd he knew were to the north east...

Ya, ya, I remember...I was talking to Rampage before...she said you were clearing out intruders... Darkness growled, gesturing to the mangled corpse. ...I just had to come and watch... he growled, grinning at the Tyrannosaur.
