Sandstorm looked around the small area. It was still early in the day so they could spend the whole day resting. He grunted and walked over to the stream to take a drink. The cold water felt good in his dry mouth. He lay down on the bank, resting himself. Shadow leaf staggered over to him and collapsed down aswell, tired from the running

orange sail watched as razor edge caught a fish with blue scales. the raptor seemed to have quickly learned how to catch fish easily. now, many sounds could be heard near the lake. orange sail heard the sounds of birds calling in the trees. orange sial decided that this would an area that he could establish as a territory for himself and razor edge. he would tell razor edge about this area being a territory in a few minutes. for now, the spinosaur decided to let the raptor finish eating his meal.

Steeltalon watched her hatchlings play. She remembered when she was a hatchling, full of fear and despair...that was the kind of pain she never wanted to see her hatchlings go through. Suddenly, Steeltalon was hit by a sickening realization; her family's skeletons were still at her old territory! She'd have to move them before anyone started to settle in.

Darkness walked on, the Allosaur not far behind. The jungle around them was a mystery to the black raptor, only following the scent trail. It was mid day, and Darkness was already exhausted. The two continued on, finally stopping at a large tree, a few compies scurrying around it. Darkness hid himself in the undergrowth, waiting for a compy to drop its guard. One compy did just that, Darkness bursting out of the undergrowth, snatching it up in his jaws, slashing another fleeing compy, killing both instantly. Darkness walked over to the base of the tree, laying down and starting to eat one of the compys. The other one's yours, if your hungry... he growled, taking another bite out of the compy.

RazorEdge joyously stripped the fish bare. He licked his lips and rested for a few moments before closing his eyes and waiting. He knew Orange Sail had something to say and he would not stop him from saying it. " Go on, say what you have to say." Growled RazorEdge, his eyes still closed.

Blade cocked his head. the Raptor was actually giving him something to eat. i SHOULD have tried to help him when that huge Carcha attacked him he thought. no you shouldn't. he can handle himself easily. you cant even catch a damned Heterodontosaur without help responded the voice in his head again. he grunted at a thought, and growled "Thank you", before diving onto the Compy and ripping it in half, eating one half, and then the other...

orange sail growled to razor edge:"i think this area would be a good territory. i haven't seen any intruders enter here. the lake has plenty of fish and i think it would be a good area to live in." he knew that if he was going to keep his territory, he would have to defend it from any intruders that might want to claim it for themselves. if he managed to keep the territory, this would mean that he and razor edge wouldn't need to look for a new area.

RazorEdge rose and opened his eyes. He nodded at Orange Sail then walked around idly, not bothering to do anything. He thought to himself "I thought this was already his territory. He acted at home." He shrugged it off and continued to pace around idly.

Steeltalon, unable to stay awake, eventually fell into an uneasy sleep. She was curled up on the rim of the dip in the ground, in which the four hatchlings were tired out. She didn't like the idea of going back to her old territory at all, but it was necessary.

Raven had also fallen asleep, but on a thick branch well away from the rest of the group. He still felt that they didn't trust him very much.

Darkness rose from his spot, stretching. I think its best we got moving, Blade... he growled, walking out to their original path, finding the scent trail once more. Darkness nodded to Blade before continueing on the trail, unable to run, too exhausted from the fight. We need to find a place to stay once it gets dark...I can't go on much longer then sunset... he snarled to himself, continueing his pace along the trail.

Blade nodded, and got up, beginning to follow the Raptor. after a while, he hissed "What stopped you from killing me, Raptor?". this single thing had been bothering him more than anything else...

Lets just say, I've seen more then enough orphans in my life...There is no point in killing you, it would be unthinkable... Darkness growled, shaking his head. Steeltalon would not kill an innocent, and neither should he. Darkness sighed, continueing on at the same pace.

Blade cocked his head in surprise. he had expected a more normal reason, like a lack of hunger. curiosity struck him again, and he found him self bursting to ask a question. "What's your name, Raptor?"...

Darkness.... Darkness growled, not looking back. He expected the young creature to ask questions, and he was ready to answer. Darkness continued on, knowing their discussion wasn't important enough to stop his trek.

Blade nodded as he heard the name. it suited the Raptor. black as night, and the only things he could see on the Raptor beside's the shape were it's dark amber coloured eyes. otherwise, Darkness was a walking sillhouette...a Living Shadow. Blade growled "Where are we going, Darkness?"...

To find my mate and friends... Darkness growled, seeing that the day was slowly turning into night. I'll explain later, we need to find somewhere to stay for the night...with that Carchar out there, we need to find protection... he snarled, gesturing for the Allosaur to follow.

Blade nodded, and continued to follow Darkness, wondering whether there was a cave nearby that could keep them safe...

Shadow leaf was asleep, her head resting against Sandstorms side. He looked into the water, thinking about where they were going. He didn't know anything about it. Steeltalon had kept quite. He was unsure and uneasy about what they were heading for, afterall, it might be alot differnet from when Steeltalon lived there.

orange sail was watching razor edge walk around. the spinosaur could see that darkness was now starting to fall. feeling thirsty again, hte went over to the lake and negan to drink the water, enjoying his drink. as long as he didn't have many intruders try to take this area which was now his territory, he wouldn't have a need to fight unless they refused to leave after he warned them. after three minutes, the spinosaur's thirst was quenched and he returned to where he had been resting. tommorow, orange sail would patrol this territory and would be more alert in case he spotted another spino or another large carnivore looking for a territory.

Steeltalon lifted her head with a yawn. She stood and stretched, growling to Sandstorm, "I'm going hunting." Without waiting for a reply, she darted into the jungle. After a few minutes, she came across a few young Gallimimus that were sleeping in a small clearing. Almost soundlessly, Steeltalon slowly crept up on the largest of them, hoping to kill it without alerting the others. Moving carefully, so she did not accidentally snap any twigs or disturb any rocks, the half-mutant came within striking distance. Suddenly, one lifted its head and would've spotted her if she didn't leap onto a nearby branch. She nearly hissed in frustration as it continued to watch where she'd just been. This would be tricky.
