RazorEdge saw that it was almost night time. He wasn't tired so he just pretended to lie down and fallen asleep. He thought his act was convincing. He thought Orange Sail would think he was actually asleep.

Darkness continued on, the sun finally setting, leaving the two predators in the dark. Darkness snarled in frustration, looking around for a place to stay. He scented the air, the Scent Trail being stronger here. It will last until morning... Darkness growled, scenting the air again. Finally, he caught the scent of other creatures. Raptors. Darkness sighed at the thought of staying with a raptor pack, not to mention the possible struggle to even stay. He walked toward the source of the scent, finally coming to a small clearing, 3 root caves around the perimeter of the clearing. Darkness walked in, immediatly seeing a small group of raptors. Blade, stay by my side, we need them to think your not a threat... Darkness growled, turning around to look at the Allosaur. A male raptor, Darkness assuming this to be the leader, came forward, eyeing Darkness. What do you want, stranger? he growled, continueing to eye Darkness and Blade. I am a loner looking for a safe place to stay, me and the Allosaur... Darkness growled, gesturing to Blade. The male was confused, an enourmous black raptor bringing along a juvenile Allosaurus was not a common site...

Finally, the Alpha Male sighed, nodding. I suppose you could stay....For how long, stranger? he growled, turning around, gesturing for them to follow. Just for the night, and thank you.... Darkness growled, walking forward after the raptor. Not a problem, this is the safest place to be around here...The trees are too dense for any large predator to get through... the Alpha Male growled, laying down beside another raptor. Darkness stood still, not knowing what to do. Oh, well, you can just sleep where ever you like, only the hatchlings use the root caves. he growled, gesturing to the space around him and the other 3 raptors. Darkness bowed his head, gesturing for Blade to follow. He layed down a few feet away from the raptors, laying his head down, not able to fall asleep, surronded by strangers....

[Iceking]

orange sail was getting tired and was close to falling asleep. he saw razor edge was laying down as well. the spinosaur couldn't keep awake any longer and his eyes slowly closed as he fell asleep. the territory was quiet and no intruders had managed to enter the area. in the distance the call, of a brachiosaur could be heard as it bellowed for its herd.

[The Kingpin]

Blade nodded and followed Darkness. they reached a tree, and Blade lay down, exhausted. the ground beneath him made a crunching sound as he fell onto the dead leaves and twigs. he tried to sleep, but doubted he could, with that many dangerous predators around him...

[Pyronychus]

Switchblade liked this place even less than the last. She had a strange, nagging feeling, like a dark cloud hanging over her head. But she couldn't quite pinpoint what it meant...
She managed to take a few shuffling steps toward a fern and laid down under it, hoping they wouldn't have to stay much longer. The atmosphere here was very tense and oppressive.

Sandstorm nodded at Steeltalon as she left and then laid his head back down in the grass. Tomorrow they would reach Steeltalons old home. But she was too quite about it. He didn't like it. He looked around at everyone in the group. Raven, the hatchlings, him and Shadow leaf, and then Steeltalon, who apparently had gotten over he injuries and run off to hunt. Most likely she would come back empty handed.

[Hopeflower]

After a few minutes, the galli who had been watching for Steeltalon laid its head back down. But it was several more minutes before she decided it was safe to jump to the ground and start creeping forward again. By now it was nightfall and she had a bit of an advantage, but even that might not be enough to muffle the sounds of her struggle. With one well-aimed pounce, Steeltalon grasped the neck of her target in her jaws and dragged it into the surrounding undergrowth to finish it off. The large galli's terrified cries were cut off by a sharp click and a quiet thud. Obviously Steeltalon's teeth had made quick work of the delicate neck bones. She started dragging it back toward where the others were resting, some of her deeper injuries paining her every step of the way.

Exile stopped when she was near the cave and hid when she heard some barks inside the cave. She carefully observed the raptors that were starting to come out and noticed a raptor coming out of the cave, this raptor being RawHide. A smirk appeared at the rememberence of SharpClaw's death. She proved to be a good meal, she thought and continued to watch the male...

RawHide didn't want to wait for Killereye. He wanted to directly search for his mate. "SharpClaw, where are you," he murmured and suddenly caught a familiar scent in the air. It was the scent of a familiar raptor. It couldn't be...but what was she doing here?

When Exile saw RawHide with his snout in the air, she hissed and dashed away. It was too soon to be noticed by him...

RawHide started to follow the scent, confusion showing in his eyes...

Softfoot ripped another chunk from the almost skelatonized carcas. She chewed slightly and swallowed it down. She yawned and hissed "Rest is yours, but we should get back soon." She scented the air idely. Night had fallen and she was getting tired.

Darkness was laying down, the raptors around him chatting. He looked toward the Alpha Male, seeing him with his mate. Darkness sighed, missing Steeltalon, the hatchlings, and his friends. One of the raptors noticed his behavior, turning their attention to him. Stranger, whats your name? I don't think you want us to keep calling you Stranger... she growled, the other raptors turning to listen. Darkness...is my name... Darkness growled, looking up briefly. Well, why are you here in this part of the island? on of the raptor's questioned. I'm searching for my mate and friends, all of them left, thinking one of my allies was an enemy... Darkness growled, shaking his head at the thought. Well, who could that be? I mean, a raptor wouldn't send your friends running, would it? the Alpha Male growled, shaking his head. It was Crusher...Everyone had the impression that his purpose for the "visit" was to kill them... Darkness growled, glancing at the raptors around him. Crusher? Oh, we've heard of him...he can definately send any raptor packing, just by staring at them... the Alpha Female snarled, the others nodding in agreement.

Darkness snickered slightly, not really thinking of Crusher this way. The raptors returned to their own talk, Darkness feeling slightly more relaxed. He layed his head down, slowly drifting into a light sleep, exhausted from the day's events.

Steeltalon arrived back at the place where everyone was resting and dropped the galli beside the dip in the ground. She stood back to let the others eat first, knowing that she had dragged them into this. "Sandstorm," she began quietly, "you should probably tell the others this what they wake up. My old home was a desert when I left it, but I've heard that it's become a jungle since, with a small river close by. The skeletons of my family will still be there, so...I'm going to move them myself. I want to give them the respect they deserve. When I'm done we can start settling in...and the cave there is definately safer than the ones back at the clearing, with less large carnivores around...so it should be a good home." She glanced around nervously and added, "The only problem we'll have is the spino I attacked when fleeing there. We'll have to get rid of that before we really settle down."

Sandstorm nodded taking in what she said. He growled quitely "Is there much water there?" He gestued towards he shoulder and at her other numerous wounds and added "You should eat first, besides I amn't very hungery" Which wasn't exactly true. But she needed it more, and she had cought it herself.

[The Kingpin]

Blade, after some time trying, finally fell asleep, exhaustion taking it's toll on him...

Fatalis had finally had his fill of the Galli, though, with his hunger, there was nothing left of it but bones. he looked at SoftFoot and hissed "You ready to go back?"...

Crusher was heading for the north western side of his territory, where he remembered there were UtahRaptors living...

"From what I can remember hearing, apparently a few small streams flow into the river...so it should be enough," she replied, glancing at her injuries. She nudged the galli with one hand. "You guys need that more than I do. I dragged you into this." She dipped her head and turned her head slightly, looking at the burn scar. It was just one of many she had, but somehow it was the one she'd remember how she got most vividly.

Unable to resist, Sandstorm tore open the galis side and pulled a strip of meat out. He wuickly swalloed it, thankful for some food. He grunted "Dragged? I was more than willing to follow. Much better than living so close to that.... monster of a rex"

Softfoot nodded to him Snarling "Yeah lets go.." She started jogging back along their trail, anxious to get back.

[Pyronychus]

Switchblade's head snapped up when she smelled fresh meat. She crawled out of the fern, looking around for the source of the smell. It was a gallimimus, apparently caught by Steeltalon. The Lili's toungue flicked across her muzzle, and she stood up, hoping the raptor would let her have a bite. She slowly and carefully shuffled closer to the raptor, the burns on her legs still aching a bit. When she was close enough, she chirped, "Steeltalon, um, is it okay if I have a bite of that? I haven't eaten in a while."

[Hopeflower]

Steeltalon jumped slightly, hearing Switchblade's voice. "Switchblade, I didn't notice you with us. I don't mind at all."

Raven opened one emerald eye and growled, "I carried her." As soon as he said this, he closed his eye again and fell into a light, uneasy sleep.

Steeltalon reached forward and took a hesitant bite from the galli and forced herself to swallow, still slightly disoriented by the fact that Darkness wasn't there. The hatchlings had woken and were chirpring excitedly as their mother tore a chunk from the galli and dropped it in front of them.

[Stallordasaurus Rex]

Neptune and his herd traveled through Isla Sorna's plains. His herd was heading to the nesting grounds, to lay their eggs. Even though they were the biggest of Isla Sorna, They still had to worry about Giganotosaurus.

Sandstorm took another bite out of the gali, swallowing it down. Then he took a big chunk of the Gali out and put it down next to where Shadow Leaf was sleeping. He didn't want to wake her, and he was quite tired himself. Taking one last bite out of the gali he lay his head down and quickly fell asleep.....

[Pyronychus]

Switchblade nodded in thanks and tore a small chunk of meat off the galli. She dragged it onto the ground in front of her, and putting one foot on it to steady it, bit off and swallowed a bite size strip. This dinosaur tasted good. She had never had the opportunity to try gallimimus meat before and thought it was much better than compy. The Lili eyed Raven when he spoke. She still did not completely trust him. But he seemed fairly calm and harmless at the moment, so Switchblade shrugged off the thought and continued eating from her chunk of galli.
