Streamflower quickly caught up to Spottednose, the gorse tunnel forcing her to slow as she exited the camp. She bounded up the ravine and bolted towards the Thunderpath.
Lightfrost watched the two warriors run out of camp and sighed. Face it...you'll never get her to like you. Best to just move on...find another she-cat, he thought, sitting beside the gorse tunnel, ever vigilant as he guarded the camp from intruders.

Spottednose sped up, trying to gain on Streamflower, which did, just as he made it to the Thunderpath. He skidded onto it as he stopped, but swiftly ran back, so a monster wouldn't hit him. He jumped up and down cheering. "Yeah! I won this round, Streamflower!"
