Streamflower glanced at Spottednose, amused. "Then you'll be amazed when we get there," she meowed, heading calmly towards where four great oaks towered above the rest of the forest.

Streamflower sleepily rasped her tongue ofer Spottednose's ear and rested her head against his. As the sun finally sank beneath the horizon and the first stars began to appear in the night sky, sillhouetted against the dying sunlight was the image of two cats in love.

Shadowstar waited until Streamflower and Spottednose were back in camp before padding into her den. She stretched out on her mossy bedding, soon after falling asleep.
Streamflower yawned, starting to head for the warrior's den. It had been a long day...but somehow knowing she had someone who loved her and who she loved made the battles seem insignificant.

Spottednose followed Streamflower into the den and curled up beside, happy he had finally gotten something off his chest, and he was all the more happier he'd done it.

Streamflower's fur brushed Spottednose's as she slowly fell asleep. She felt warm when she was beside her love, despite it being leaf-bare.
