Spottednose mewed, "Um, OK, I'll go get some other cats, and you two guard the fox, I guess." He turned and bounded down to the ravine and into camp. He mewed, "Alright, we need several strong cats to help drag some food in here! Who's going?"

[Hopeflower]

Lightfrost looked up and meowed, "I'll help. Shadowstar mentioned something about an adult fox..." Darkflower nodded. "I'll come too." She flexed her powerful shoulders and padded over to Spottednose, Lightfrost following soon after.

Shadowstar and Streamflower still lay in the snow, breathing heavily, though their ears were pricked, their muscles tense, ready to drive off any rogues who wanted some of the fox.

Spottednose nodded and mewed, "You're right there, Lightfrost." He turned to go.

Snowclaw neared the smell, it filling his nose more than ever now. He saw 2 cats, one was peculiar to him,it was grey, black stripes. It was a she-cat and she reminded Snowclaw of his brother. snowclaw forgot the memory of his brother ounce more and approached. Before he was less than a foot away, he circled the cat, slightly nervous that it would be hostile

Shadowstar tensed, watching the newcomer with slightly narrowed eyes. Streamflower turned to look as well, only the color of her eyes sepearating her from the snow.

Lightfrost and Darkflower followed Spottednose, soon smelling the scent of blood and fox. "So it's true," Darkflower murmured, her eyes widening with awe.

Spottednose smirked and mewed, "How else do you think I got this cut on my shoulder?" He nodded o the cut along his right shoulder, which was still bleeding.

[C S]

Snowclaw sat, looking at the cats. He licked his paw and built up his courage. He mewed "You might be willing to share that fox you have there...or do I have to fight you for it?"

[Hopeflower]

Shadowstar pushed herself into a sitting position. "Stand down," she meowed to the stranger. "More of my warriors are on their way, and if you fight you will be badly outnumbered." Streamflower nodded, sitting up as well.

Darkflower and Lighfrost caught sight of the fox, and their eyes narrowed slightly. "Impressive catch," Lightfrost mewed as he passed Spottednose, starting to circle the fox appreciatively. Darkflower, however, was more focused on the intruder facing Shadowstar and Streamflower.

Spottednose looked over at the new cat and mewed, "Who are you and why do you want the fox?"

[C S]

"I have been in an area near a thunder path where no prey seemed to go. I have gone many days without fresh-kill. My brother was captured in a twoleg trap, I have wandered in the opposite direction since." He lowered his paw and shook. "Please, I beg you..." He growled sofltly

[Hopeflower]

Shadowstar got to her paws and started circling the rogue. "You're asking us to give you some fresh-kill...but in return for what?"

Lightfrost and Darkflower began pushing the fox forward as Streamflower stood and started dragging it again. She was exhausted, but the Clan came before any one member.

Spottednose mewed, "I'm going to go see Stormtail. This shoulder won't heal itself, and I can't push that thing very easily." He turned to Shadowstar and meowed, "I'm sure some of one of the fox cubs could be enough for him. Nothing much, but it'll get him to leave, don't you think?"

[C S]

Snowclaw thought. He raised his other paw and licked it and then mewed. "My loyalty?""

[Hopeflower]

"Your loyalty to the Clan," Shadowstar meowed. To Spottednose she mewed, "There's no guarantee of that. it might work at first, but he might come back." She continued circling the rogue and meowed, "What is your name, stranger?"

Streamflower continued dragging the adult fox, Darkflower and Lightfrost pushing it with their shoulders. Almost back to camp. Once at the ravine, they let it slide down the steep slope and bounded after it, taking care not to slip on the icy rocks.

Spottednose shrugged and left to go find Sttormtail at camp. He meowed, "Hey Stormtail! You awake?"

[Hopeflower]

Stormtail bounded to the top of the snowy wall in front of his den and meowed, "Yes, Spottednose?" He could see a deep injury on the dappled warrior's shoulder and beckoned Spottednose into his den.

Spottednose nodded and followed Stormtail. He mewed, "Good thing you're the medicine cat, or I might no be alive, huh? As for this, I'd say you don't have much to worry about, compared to last time."

[Hopeflower]

Stormtail purred in amusement, wrapping some cobwebs around his paw and laying some on Spottednose's wound. "You'll be in here every day at this rate," Stormtail mewed, wrapping the rest of the cobwebs around the injury. "You'll be fine, just try not to overexert yourself."

Streamflower, Darkflower and Lightfrost managed to get the fox into the camp, bounding back outside to collect the other three fox cubs.

Snowclaw stopped licking his paw. He looked at the cat and lowered his head in a "Bow"

"My name, is Snowclaw..."
He mewed.

"I hope so," mewed Spottednose, "I just want to eat, then take a nap with Streamflower."
