Saberclaw eventully arrived back at the ShadowClan camp, supporting Darkstorm. He called to Cindersoul, the shadowclan medicine cat beckoning him over. The cat was just about finished with the warrior he was dealing with and he padded over to darkstorm to tend to her wounds.

Stormtail peeled a wad of cobwebs from a larger clump on his paw and put them on the wound. When they were soaked with blood he added another layer, and gently mashed juniper berries and poppy seeds into a poultice, pushing the mix towards the injured cat. He chewed up some marigold and spat the juice onto the deeper scratches, meowing to Snowclaw, "Make sure he eats as much of this" - he nudged the poultice with a paw - "as he can."
Darkstorm was breathing raggedly as she mewed a faint "thanks" to Saberclaw. She laid down to let Cindersoul treat the deep wound on her stomach.

Spottednose gasped and licked Streamflower soothingly. He mewed, "Please... Streamflower... don't go... STORMTAIL!"

Stirmtail looked up, saw Streamflower's wounds, and bounded over with a mouthful of herbs. "Stay with us Streamflower," the medicine cat growled as he pressed cobwebs to the white queen's wounds. He made her swallow some juniper berries and licked her fur the wrong way to stimulate her breathing. Don't you dare die, he thought as he worked.

Spottednose hovered near Stormtail, concern in his eyes. He refused to leave, for any reason, until his mate was okay.

Streamflower coughed weakly. The wound on her throat was covered in cobwebs and she was breathing easier now. "I don't want to give her poppy seeds," Stormtail meowed. "If she falls asleep now, she might not wake up." His gaze darkened for a few heartbeats before he padded off to take care of the other cat's injuries.

Stormtail blinked, startled. "You...you want to be a medicine cat." he meowed. "Any particular reason why?" He had one extremely shaken up apprentice eat some chewed up thyme leaves.

"Of course," Stormtail meowed. "You are aware that being a medicine cat isn't just about saving lives. There's work involved. Gathering herbs and cobwebs, sharing dreams with StarClan every new moon. Which, now that I think about it, is tonight." He rolled a few poppy seeds towards the apprentice to help her sleep. She licked them up obediantly and laid down, Stormtail chewing up some marigold and spitting the juice onto her wounds before covering them with cobwebs.

Stormtail pressed cobwebs to the wound and chewed up more marigold leaves, spitting the juices onto the injury and blinking, deep in thought. He touched his nose to the warrior's pad, making sure he didn't have a fever. "None of the cats are ill, thank StarClan," Stormtail meowed. He padded over to the entrance of his den and sat down with a tired sigh. No more injuries to look at...for now.
