Snowclaw licked his paw as he waited for Hawksight. He mewed " I think the rocks here are abit.." He put a paw onsome rocks and they broke apart and rolled down the mountain. "....Unstable.."

Hawksight sighed. "Guess we'll do this the old fashioned way," she mewed, getting ready for the dash to safety. She started sprinting along the crumbling ledge, yowling, "Go! Hurry!"

"Love?" Streamflower mewed. "Odd, Starwhisker never seemed to show any love for anything."

Snowclaw made a dash, jumping off a boulder which crumbled under his paws. He slid on the jagged rocks. He bled but he didn't have anytime to tend to his wounds.

Streamflower purred and nuzzled her mate. In the heartbeat she had her eyes closed, an image flashed in her mind's eye. Too quick for her to be sure of what it was, it vanished almost as soon as it appeared. She meowed, "Did you see any other cats you knew?"

Hawksight continued forward, making a desperate leap and landing on a more stable ledge in a skid that made her paws bleed again.

Spottedstar mewed, "Well, there was Shadowstar, obviously..." He shook his head. "I can't remember anyopne else right now. My head is hurting too much," he groaned.

Snowclaw jumped, rocks fell on him from above and knocked him off balance. He fell onto a ledge about 10 feet under the one Hawksight was on with a thud. He rolled onto his side and made a sore growl. He got up and shook. He looked around and saw there was no way forhim to get back up. He mewed "Lets split up fopr now. I'll try to find a way to get up to you or get to the other side!" He limped off, his right paw bleeding.

"Be careful," Hawksight meowed, her voice echoing thinly off the sheer cliffs. She turned and started padding along the ledge, occasionally bounding up or down so it was possible to keep going.

Streamflower purred in amusement. "Maybe you should get some rest," she meowed. "Let Firestreak take care of things for the day."

Snowclaw mewed under his breat "I'll try to.." He bounded into a small cavelike area. It had a slightly dimmed light shining down from the roof. He heard rocks falling over head and hoped they weren't caused by Hawksight. He licked his paw and placed it on the ground. A dll pain consumed him and he quickly retracted heis paw. He continued limping through the cavern

Spottedstar strecthed and yawned, "Yeah, good idea." He padded over next to Streamflower and laid down, the kits following him.

Streamflower touched her nose to Spottedstar's , purring quietly, before resting her own head on her forepaws.

Hawksight hissed in pain as she felt a sharp stone sink into her pad. She ignored it, limping onward despite the sting.

Snowclaw mewed "What happened?" His mew echoed in the cavern and the ground shook. He mewed "Fox dung.." He padded faster, realizing the cavern can collapse any second

"Almost there," Hawksight mewed to herself. "Almost...just over this rise." She pressed her forepaws to the stone face and growled in frustration.

"Good to hear" Snowclaw mewed as he limped furiously to get out of the cavern. There was a medium sized rock that blocked the exit. there was a hole small enought for Snowclaw to stick his paw out. He put a paw on the rock and felt the cavern shake as he applied pressure to the rock. He thought "Move the rock, risk the place coming down, dont move the rock and im trapped..."

Hawksight sighed. "Are you stuck or what?" she mewed, padding towards an opening in the ground. She could see Snowclaw's paw sticking out of it. "Just move the rock and get out as fast as you can."

"Thats what im afraid of. I put a small pressure and the place rocks harder than when those monsters attack." He shook and mewed "If your infront of this hole, you might want to move." He pushed the rock, rolling out of the hole. The cavern din't collapse. "What do you know-" He mewed before a deafening boom was heard and dust rose up over the site.

Hawksight took a ace back, twitching her ears and whiskers irritably at the sudden noise. "Come on," she mewed. She started climbing the rise behind them in little leaps and bounds.
