Firestreak nodded, padding out of the camp, glad that he was no longer bored. He bounded ahead a short distance, glancing around. Firestreak scented the air, having caught the scent of a mouse a few moments ago. He glanced around once more, deciding that the creature had escaped, continueing on none the less...

The three cats followed their deputy and split up, each looking for prey to take back to camp.

Hawksight rammed the opening with her shoulder, snarling in pain and backing up. "It's no use," she growled. "We'll have to go around and try to find out what's going on." She padded to the opening that led to Skye's room and, surprisingly, it opened easily. Skye was nowhere in sight. "Come on," Hawksight murmured. "Skye's probably in Tyrant's room." She started to make her way across Skye's room towards one of the two openings. She wasn't looking forward to walking through rooms she didn't know.

Firestreak bounded along, scenting the air. He stopped, suddenly catching the scent of another mouse. Firestreak glanced around, finally spotting the tiny creature scurrying away into the forest. He pounced, slamming his paw down on the mouse's tail, bringing his other paw forward, pressing down on the tiny creature's back, braking it. Firestreak dug a small hole in the ground, placing the now dead mouse inside, filling the hole with dirt. He glanced back at the place he had buried the mouse before padding off in search of more prey...

Ambercloud had just caught a chaffinch and kicked some loose earth over it, masking the scent so she could pick it up later. She continued with the hunt, ears pricked, eyes wide open, jaws parted to detect prey.

Spottedstar finally woke up, yawning. He had slept most of the day, and it seemed the kits were up and about, playfighting in the den. He watched them with an amused purr.

Streamflower shifted, yawning as her eyes opened. She hissed faintly in annoyance and curled up more comfortably, trying to go back to sleep.
