Bloodspill twitched the fur on her shoulders and meowed, "Why not." her eyes flashed with the pain of a memory as she thought of her sister, Swiftkill and her best friends, Coldsnap and Nightrun. She got to her paws slowly, but didn't move from where she stood.

Firestreak nodded slowly to the black she-cat, wondering how she would act while out on the patrol, remembering, despite her sudden change of attitude, their arguement. Anyone else who wishes to join us are welcome... Firestreak mewed, turning to the camp entrance, padding out of the camp, still glad to be rid of his boredom.

Bloodspill followed the gray tom, still not quite sure why she'd wanted to come. her red eyes flashed as she thought of one possibility, but she shook it off and just kept walking.

Firestreak continued on, enjoying the time out of the camp, but made sure to survey his surronding. He stopped suddenly, staring straight at the undergrowth beside them. Firestreak relaxed as a few birds flew from the undergrowth, continueing on with the patrol, the gray tom stretching slightly as the sun warmed him, enjoying the patrol...

Streamflower was stretched out just outside the nursery, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her fur. Skye was beside her, dozing while the white queen's kits tumbled around them in mock fights. "Feel my teeth, Tigerstar!" Snowkit mewed. She pounced on Sparrowkit, the brown tom rolling over and attempting to pin his sister. Frostkit licked one brown paw and pounced on Smokekit, the two writhing around and letting out playful challenges.

Firestreak continued with the patrol, glancing around at the area around him. He glanced back at the black she-cat, making sure she was following. Firestreak turned back, bounding ahead a short distance, stopping, surverying the rest of the area. He padded off, knowing they were nearing the camp, the gray tom groaning quietly to himself, the idea of being bored disheartening him from returning so soon...

Bloodspill flattened her ears, feeling the tom's gaze on her. She was relieved when he looked away, but she kept her ears and tail low. For some odd reason she felt exposed...as though they were being watched.
Hawksight playfully cuffed Snowclaw over one ear with a paw, seeing the other two queens outside and chatting comfortably.

Bloodspill shook her head, glancing around warily. She unsheathed her claws when a blackbird let out an alarm call and peepled her lips back in a snarl when she saw a squirrel scurrying up a tree. Something had spooked those animals...but what?

Firestreak gave the she-cat a curious look before turning back, continueing on the patrol, slightly confused at the she-cat's actions. He stopped, glancing around the surronding area, seeing everything was fine. Firestreak shrugged, continueing on once more wordlessly.

Something rustled in the bushes beside the gray tom. "Get down!" Bloodspill snarled, pouncing and knocking the tom out of the way before pain tore down her flank. Blood splattered the grass and bramble bushes, bright red against green. The black she-cat snarled in pain and tore away from her attacker, but before she could get a good look at it, it vanished into the undergrowth. Flinching every time she moved her left shoulder, she backed away from the tom and started licking her wound.
