Spottedstar was about to reply when he heard Stormtail's call. Getting up, He mewed, "Yes, Stormtail? What do you need?"

"Bloodspill's been attacked," Stormtail meowed. "We don't know why she was attacked or what hurt her, but this might help." He nudged the bramble tendril towards the Clan leader and meowed, "What do you make of this?"

Bloodspill awoke to cats talking. She groaned and lifted her head groggily, muttering something that sounded like, "I'm alright." She yawned widely and got to her paws, her wound sending a wave of pain coursing through her.

Stormtail followed Spottedstar's gaze to Bloodspill and meowed, "He's right. You won't be hunting or patrolling for a while, that's for sure."
"I'm fine," Bloodspill insisted. "Really." To prove her point, she sat down and flexed her shoulder muscles. She ignored the pain her injury sent though her, lifting her head as though daring anyone to tell her otherwise.

Bloodspill opened her jaws to object, but thought the better of it and merely sat there with her eyes narrowed slightly. Clearly she was not too happy about this development.

Firestreak watched from a distance, finally turning and padding off to his usual spot, still unnerved about the attack, but tryed to keep his mind off the subject. He sat down as he arrived, still in deep thought about many different things, staring blankly ahead of him, ignoring the sounds around him...

Bloodspill's ears pricked slightly, and she got to her paws. "Can do," she meowed, her tone slightly less cold. Maybe even...friendly. She looked around, about to say more when her stomach growled. The black she-cat grimaced and mewed, "I suppose I'm allowed to eat something." Stormtail padded off and returned a few moments later with a sparrow in his jaws. The gray medicine cat dropped it at Bloodspill's paws and meowed, "yes you are. Eat." Bloodspill merely shrugged and crouched to start eating.

Firestreak continued to stare forward, unmoving from his spot, still in deep thought. His tail swayed from side to side behind him absently, the gray tom ignoring the actions of the other clan cats. The attack, the arrival of the 3 new cats, him becoming deputy, and him joining the clan were among the things running through his mind. Firestreak sighed quietly to himself, finally snapping out of his trance briefly, glancing around at the others. He shook his head, his ears twitching slightly, once again staring forward blankly.

Hawksight purred in amusement and licked her paw, starting to groom the fur on Snowclaw's neck and shoulders.
