Blood Scar continued swimming through the area, swallowing another fish... Blood Scar looked around, and continued passed through the lake, it was somewhat familar, if he swam through he found himself into a major river where large ammounts of predators and herbivores were around...

Kiat raised his speed, slowly going round the side of the herd, making sharp turns, he managed to single out 3 young zebras(2 random ones and the male that was playing with Isoke) As they seperated from the herd Kita edged closer towards the actual herd, before turning suddenly, singling a young male, the other two ran away in panic, before joining the rest of the herd. He was gaining on the zebra, and slowly, ran faster and moved to the bottom- left side of the zebra, coming up to it's side.

"Are you hungry?" growled Nightbane, looking over at the gazelles not far from where they were. between them and him, was an area of unusually tall grass. if he wanted a kill, they'd be perfect prey...

Graytalon flew on, his energy quickly draining. He had just passed the northern edge of his territory, and was already in need of a rest. He flew into the unknown territory for another few minutes before finally swooping down to land in a tree deep in a dense evergreen forest. He hopped and fluttered down through the branches, finally landing on the trees lowest limb and scanning the ground for any signs of predators.

Isoke slid to a sudden stop and pivoted around. She stared at the young male who was trying desperately to get away from the fast moving cheetah. She snorted and pawed at the ground, feeling the urge to fight the cheetah off, but an old zebra mare nipped her harshly on the shoulder, signaling her to get moving, but Isoke couldn't keep her eyes off of her friend and the cheetah that was close enough to pounce on him. She closed her eyes and turned around again, finally deciding to go with the herd. He was a goner now...

Kita leveled his side to the zerbras, and swiped one paw at the zebra's back legs, causing it to lose it's balance and fall on it's side. Kita reacted quickly, stopping at the zebra's neck, and bitng into it, while, placing one paw on the zebra's chin, and the other a little below it's throat, crushing it's windpipe.

Tornado trotted along the outskirts of the forest happily. He often went on these excursions far out've his territory so this wasnt out of the ordinary for him. He was considering going back when he remembered the earlier howl. he was feeling slightly bored and hadn't talked to another wolf in awhile, it was worth checking out. He often enjoyed talking to other loners about random things. So he changed course, padding towards the source of the earlier call.

Tyretros nodded to the lion reluctantly, glancing also at the gazzels. Tyretros... he growled, introducing himself, bowing his head slightly. Tyretros lifted his head once more, continueing to glance around wearily.

azure eye was through swimming after 30 minutes and swam back to the shore of the lake, his fur now wet and dripping water. the white tiger remebered that he still needed to patrol the southwest area of his territory. without making much noise, he began to walk to the southwest and arrived in the area after twenty minutes. azure eye sniffed the air for possible scents of intruders and he didn't smell any. he could see a large broken rock to the left of him and he remebered seeing it since the day he had first claimed this area for himself. 40 minutes later, the stealthy carnivore found no intruders and was satisfied. he began to head back to the center of his terriotry, planning on going hunting again when it was night.

Blood Scar waited in the water... no sign of prey... The massive carnivore drifted through the water... looking for signs of any prey... it was quiet, to quiet. Blood Scar snatched another small fish, it was hardly a meal and fish were getting annoying. He needed big meals, but Blood Scar calmed down knowing that his patience will pay off..

The zebra herd finally slowed down to a stop when they thought they were safe from the claws of the cheetah. Isoke was breathing hard. She wearily looked behind her and lowered her head in sorrow. He's just...gone, she thought sadly while the others only grazed on the scrumptious african grass.

Maka and the group returned to the den, they coughed up the meat for the pups and the rest of the pack. Darkfur came up to Maka. "Did Runt do well?"

Night lifted her head and sniffed, catching the fading scent of jackal and...a very faint scent of another wolf. Her eyes widened. Could this be the one who'd answered her call? She didn't dare believe it, setting her head down again.

Kita looked around, there was vultures circling overhead and Kita could smell a lone Hyena. He waited, before tucking in to his kill, he seen the Hyena and snarled at it. It backed away a little, waiting for the King Cheetah to finish it's meal so it could eat in peace, sharing it with the vultures. Kita ripped some flash off the belly of the zebra and started eating it, a pleased look on his face.

Graytalon, seeing no dangerous predators, fluttered down to a large rock and perched on its pointed top, scanning the forest floor below. The ground was littered with a thick layer of leaves and pine needles. A small stream could be heard trickling down the hilly terrain, eventually joining a larger river that ran all the way to the savanah. The hawk cocked his head from side to side, listening for any sign of a small animal scuttling below the leafy layer. After several minutes, he let out a loud screech of frustration and took off, climbing only a few feet into the air and flapping off between tree trunks.

Tornado leapt up onto a rock and sat down, scenting the air. He could smell another wolf. Happy at the thought of talking to someone new, and hopefully another loner, he jumped off the rock and started padding along up the cliffs.

Night sliped out of her den and sat down on a jutting spur of rock. She scanned the cliffs, stretching her jaws in a wide yawn.

"Nightbane" growled the Barbary Lion as he got to his feet and returned the gesture, before growling "Let's go. if we're lucky we'll find on on the edge of the grass". he started to enter the golden forest of grass before him, completely camouflaged in the sea of golden vegetation...

Tornado stopped moving and glanced around behind him. He sat down and looked into the air releaseing a long, deep howl. He waited for a return call if there was going to be one.
