Bloodspill muttered something under her breath, causing Skye and Tyrant to exchange a bewlidered glance. "What was that?" the black tom meowed. "I said your plan is too risky," Bloodspill hissed impatiently, flattening her ears. "No one knows what's out there." Skye mewed gently, "That doesn't mean we'll never find out." Bloodspill glared at her. "I don't know how you can even think about doing that kind of thing," she spat, clawing the ground in frustration. "What about your kits? Have you thought about them?" Skye stared at the earth underneath her paws and did not reply. Tyrant touched his nose to her ear tip gently, mewing, "Don't worry. When the kits are old enough, we'll take them away and go back to our old lives." His mate shook her head sadly. "No, Tyrant," she meowed. "Bloodspill's right. We can't take our kits out into the unknown. Besides, is this really such a bad life?" Tyrant stared at her as though she'd grown a second head and sprouted two more tails. "Have you lost your mind?" he asked, his voice choked with disbelief. "We've always been rogues." The broad shouldered tom swung his head around to stare at Bloodspill. "And you! I don't know how you can bear the thought of living here!" The black she-cat lowered her head and mewed, "I have grown too friendly with a cat to think about leaving. If I must leave, I will. But for now, I will stay." Skye gave her mate a despairing look. Her blue eyes held horror, love and shock. It was an expression that made Bloodspill's heart twist in pity. Who had the right to make another suffer such loss? It didn't seem okay anymore...even though Bloodspill herself had killed several. "I can't change your mind." Skye's voice rasped with sorrow. her staetment wasn't a question. Bloodspill flinched, not believing how close she felt to the dark gray she-cat who had once been her enemy. Maybe Skye had changed. Or maybe...it was Bloodspill who had changed. She had the same attitude, but something in her had grown more friendly. More...trusting, even. "No, you can't," Tyrant meowed sadly. "I'm sorry Skye..." Streamflower, who had been listening in, mewed, "What?! Y-you can't leave! Spottedstar's thinking of warrior names for you!" Tyrant mewed quietly, "I like my name just the way it is." Streamflower gave him a look through narrowed eyes. "Spottedstar would never change your name if you don't want it changed," she snapped, causing Tyrant to fall silent.
