Streamflower nodded and got to her paws, heading for the apprentice's den. "Come on you two," she meowed, prodding Snowpaw and Frostpaw with a paw. "Rise and shine."

Sparrowpaw and Spottedstar went out to start their own training. Claw followed Streamflower, waiting for Frostpaw to wake up and come out so they could train as well.

Frostpaw groaned and swatted at her mother, squeaking as she felt something poke her belly. "Come on, slow slug," Streamflower teased. "Smokepaw'll be a warrior before you wake up at this rate!" Snowpaw sprang up and darted out of the apprentice's den, followed more slowly by her sister.

Firestreak continued to stalk after the sorce of the scent, eventually finding the tiny creature. He waited, slowly moving forward when the mouse was concentrated on something else. As the tiny creature lowered its head to bite something, Firestreak pounced forward, swatting the creature with his paw. The mouse was knocked back toward a nearby tree, still alive, but wounded. Firestreak pounced again, this time catching the mouse by its tail. He lifted his other paw, slamming it down on the mouse's back, braking it. Firestreak grabbed the now dead mouse in his jaws, carrying it a short distance away before sitting down to eat.

Bloodspill's forepaws tudded down on sand where Smokepaw had been. "Good," she meowed. "Now you attack me." She turned to face the gray tom, getting into a defensive stance.
